Patriots’ Eli Raridon Questionable for Week 4 vs. Bills

Eli Raridon had a chance to return for the Patriots’ Week 4 game against Buffalo, but he was not confirmed to play. New England listed the tight end as questionable on its October 2 final injury report after he was limited in all three practices that week with a thigh injury.

What is Eli Raridon’s status for Patriots vs. Bills?

Raridon was listed as questionable for New England’s scheduled game at Buffalo on Sunday, October 4, at 1:00 p.m. EDT. The Patriots define “questionable” as “Uncertain as to whether the player will play,” so the designation left his availability unresolved rather than confirming a return. The Patriots’ Week 4 injury report listed a thigh injury. The team’s injury-status definitions also define limited participation as “Less than 100% of a player’s normal repetitions.”

How did Raridon practice during Week 4?

New England listed Raridon as limited on Wednesday, September 30; Thursday, October 1; and Friday, October 2. His final designation remained questionable after the Friday practice. The three limited sessions showed participation throughout the week, but the report did not establish whether he would be active on Sunday or describe the injury’s severity or recovery timeline. Patriots Week 4 injury report.

What would Raridon’s role be if he is cleared?

CBS Sports, citing NBC Sports Boston’s Phil Perry, reported that Raridon would slot behind Hunter Henry and ahead of Cameron Latu and Tanner Arkin if cleared. That is conditional depth-chart context, not confirmation that Raridon was available or a projection of his snaps or targets. CBS Sports’ Week 4 report.

What happened with Raridon the previous week?

For Week 3, Raridon was limited Wednesday with a thigh injury, then did not participate Thursday or Friday and was designated questionable. He was subsequently listed inactive for the game against Jacksonville. That earlier outcome is relevant context, but it does not determine his Week 4 availability. The Patriots’ Week 3 injury report and the team’s Week 3 inactives analysis.

When will Raridon’s Week 4 availability be confirmed?

The final injury report was published October 2, before the October 4 game. The report did not establish his eventual active or inactive status. The game-day inactive list is the decisive update for whether he is available to play.
