In the Van is an announced indie survival simulation from Cosmic Tofu built around an unusual premise: your van is both your shelter and your way through a zombie-overrun world. Steam lists the game as unreleased, with no launch date announced as of October 3, 2026.

In the Van is a post-apocalyptic survival game in which the player creates a survivor and makes a van their only home. Is In the Van released, and is there a demo?
As of October 3, 2026, Steam lists the release date as “To be announced” and says the game is not yet available. The store page offers a wishlist option, but it does not provide a launch date, price, or demo date. Community questions about a demo do not confirm that one exists or is planned. Does In the Van have multiplayer?
Steam’s feature row labels In the Van as both single-player and multi-player. However, a Steam Community discussion asks whether multiplayer is planned, and the available listing does not explain how multiplayer would work or what its scope would be. Treat the store label as an advertised feature, not confirmation of specific modes or final implementation. The Steam Community page shows the questions players are asking, but questions alone do not establish promised features.
PC requirements and supported languages

The Steam language table lists interface and subtitles in English, French, German, Spanish (Spain), Japanese, Korean, Russian, Simplified Chinese, Spanish (Latin America), Turkish, Brazilian Portuguese, Polish, Traditional Chinese, and Ukrainian. It lists no full-audio language support. Localization plans can change before release, so consult the listing for the current table.
How graphic is the zombie violence?
Steam’s developer-provided content notice says the game depicts violence, blood, and zombie enemies in pixel art, and describes the presentation as not highly graphic or gory. The notice also says there is no sexual content. This is the developer’s description, not a formal age rating.

For now, the clearest picture is of a survival game centered on maintaining a mobile home while scavenging, crafting, exploring, and piecing together clues. Its release timing and details such as multiplayer implementation remain unsettled in the available store information.
