Could he play against Athletic Club?
LaLiga’s fixture listing showed Rayo Vallecano’s next scheduled match as a home game against Athletic Club on 10 October 2026 at 14:00. Is Luiz Felipe still a Rayo Vallecano player?
Yes. LaLiga’s 2026/27 squad listing identifies Luiz Felipe as Rayo Vallecano’s defender number 5. AS reported on 9 July 2026 that he renewed for one season through June 2027. What would confirm his return?
A firmer answer requires a more direct update than an estimated return month. Look for a Rayo announcement or coach press conference confirming that he has resumed training, been cleared to play or been included in a match squad. No such specific confirmation appeared in the reviewed Rayo Vallecano official updates.
