StreamNeo is the clearest fit here for a 24/7 YouTube stream from uploaded video when you want the file to stream at its original quality, up to 4K 60fps, for one flat price per slot. Among the other services reviewed, LiveReacting explicitly offers 4K as a paid upgrade to its 24/7 service. Upstream advertises 4K, but its cited product page does not make the exact paid-plan conditions for 24/7 streaming clear. YouTube accepts 4K live streams, but that does not mean every service that sends a stream to YouTube can play uploaded files at 4K.
Which services support 4K 24/7 YouTube streaming?
The comparison below distinguishes a confirmed 4K 24/7 file-streaming option from an advertised option whose exact conditions are unclear, and from services whose cited documentation does not establish that workflow.
| Service | What is documented | What that means for 4K 24/7 file streaming |
|---|---|---|
| StreamNeo | Streams uploaded videos to YouTube continuously, at the quality uploaded, up to 4K 60fps, with no re-encode or quality tiers. | Supports uploaded files up to 4K 60fps at one flat price per slot. A free first day is available without a card. |
| LiveReacting | Its 24/7 service streams uploaded pre-recorded videos. The default is 1080p, with 4K and 60 FPS offered as paid upgrades. Its file guide gives 4K recommendations and a 10 GB per-file limit on the 24/7 plan. | Confirmed vendor-stated 4K option, subject to the current plan and settings. LiveReacting Help |
| Upstream | Describes cloud 24/7 streaming from uploaded video and displays 1080p and 4K options. Its free plan is stated as 1080p at 30 FPS. | 4K is advertised, but the cited page does not clarify the exact paid-plan 24/7 conditions. Confirm the outgoing resolution and plan before subscribing. Upstream |
| OneStream Live | Documents continuous YouTube streaming from uploaded or stored videos. Its 24/7 mode requires Enterprise and has a maximum scheduled run of 30 days. | The cited setup documentation does not establish 4K input or output support. Do not treat it as a confirmed 4K service without direct confirmation. OneStream Live Help Center |
| StreamYard | Live output is limited to 1080p. Some plans support 4K local participant recordings, which are not the live stream output. | Not a 4K live-stream fit on the cited evidence. StreamYard Support |
| Restream | Studio output is limited to 1080p. An external encoder such as OBS can pass 4K through Restream, subject to destination requirements. | Not 4K in Studio; external-encoder 4K is a different workflow. The cited page does not establish 24/7 uploaded-file looping. Restream Support |
| YouTube Live | YouTube’s encoder guidance includes 2160p settings. Its 4K guidance does not offer the low-latency option described for other settings. | YouTube can receive a 4K live stream; the service creating and sending it must also support the required file workflow and outgoing resolution. What “4K support” needs to mean
A service accepting a 4K file does not prove it sends a 4K live stream. It might downscale or re-encode the file. A service that passes through a 4K feed from OBS may not offer cloud playback of uploaded videos or a continuous playlist. For this use case, check three separate stages:
- Upload acceptance: Does the service accept your file’s resolution, container, codec, bitrate, frame rate, size, and duration?
- Processing: Does it preserve the file as uploaded, or transcode, re-encode, or downscale it?
- Live output: Does the actual YouTube broadcast leave the service at 3840×2160, and is that output included in the plan you intend to buy?
Also confirm whether 24/7 playback is truly continuous, which platforms it can stream to, any maximum run length, and whether your YouTube channel is eligible to go live. A “4K” label without those details may describe only one stage of the workflow.

Preparing a 4K file for LiveReacting
LiveReacting’s guidance recommends H.264 video with AAC audio. For its 24/7 streaming plan, the vendor lists a 10 GB maximum per video file and the following 4K recommendations, updated in 2026. These are LiveReacting’s guidance, not universal limits for other services.
| File resolution and frame rate | LiveReacting recommended bitrate |
|---|---|
| 3840×2160 at 30 fps | Up to 30 Mbps |
| 3840×2160 at 60 fps | Up to 35 Mbps |
LiveReacting says files outside its recommendations may still be uploaded and encoded, but that does not guarantee the resulting stream will meet your quality expectations. Check the current account plan and settings before relying on a specific output resolution or frame rate.

Check YouTube and the service before committing
- Confirm channel eligibility. Make sure live streaming is enabled for your YouTube channel and that there are no account restrictions preventing a broadcast.
- Ask about the exact output. Get confirmation that the service will send 3840×2160 to YouTube from your uploaded file, rather than merely accept a 4K upload or offer a 4K encoder pass-through.
- Match file details to vendor limits. Check supported containers and codecs, maximum file size and duration, bitrate, frame rate, and any processing or transcode behavior.
- Check continuity and destination. Confirm that 24/7 looping is included, whether YouTube is the only destination, and whether any scheduled run has a maximum length. For example, OneStream Live documents YouTube-only 24/7 mode on Enterprise, capped at 30 days.
- Run a test broadcast and monitor stream health. YouTube recommends choosing settings the connection can sustain, testing before broadcasting, and monitoring the stream. Its 2160p guidance uses normal latency; the low-latency option is not available for 4K in that guidance.
For YouTube’s encoder recommendations, see YouTube Live encoder settings and YouTube stream health and troubleshooting guidance.
Copyright and reused-content checks
A technically successful 4K stream is not automatically permitted to use the video or eligible for monetization. Use only video and audio you own or are authorized to broadcast, including music, game footage, and other third-party material. YouTube’s copyright and monetization rules apply regardless of whether the stream is live, looped, or scheduled from an uploaded file. Review StreamNeo’s copyright safety checklist before setting up a loop.
