The pricing page separately lists a 24-hour-stream add-on, so confirm the eligible plan and total price at checkout before subscribing.
What OneStream Live does for an always-on channel
OneStream Live is a cloud service for scheduling and broadcasting prerecorded video. For a 24/7 YouTube loop, you select video, choose a connected YouTube channel, enter stream details, and schedule the run. The cloud handles the playback and broadcast; the documented prerecorded workflow does not require a local computer to remain on. OneStream describes its broader service as supporting more than 45 social platforms and custom RTMP destinations, but that broader destination claim should not be confused with the dedicated 24/7 feature, which its instructions describe as YouTube-only.
This is an assessment of documented features, not a hands-on test. The available information establishes neither an independent uptime benchmark nor a guarantee that a stream will never be interrupted. OneStream’s separate encoder workflow is for sending a live input; it is not a prerequisite for looping uploaded video. How to schedule a 24/7 YouTube stream
OneStream’s Help Center instructions, updated September 3, 2026, describe this workflow. Labels may change, so follow the current interface if it differs:

- Connect your YouTube channel. In OneStream, connect the channel you intend to broadcast to and complete any authorization steps. Confirm that you have selected the correct channel before scheduling.
- Create a 24-hour stream. Open OneStream’s 24/7 streaming option and start a new stream. The dedicated feature is documented for YouTube, not as a general continuous stream to all OneStream destinations.
- Add the prerecorded video. Choose video from your device, OneStream storage, or a supported cloud storage source. Check the selected files and playback order before continuing.
- Enter stream details. Select the connected YouTube channel and provide the stream information requested in the interface, such as the title and other broadcast details.
- Set the schedule and duration. Choose when the stream should start and set the number of days. OneStream’s instructions state that a scheduled 24/7 run can last at most 30 days; plan to renew or schedule a subsequent run rather than assuming it will continue indefinitely.
- Review and schedule. Check the destination, video selection, stream details, start time, and end duration, then submit the schedule. Monitor the YouTube live control room and OneStream dashboard when the broadcast starts to verify that it is live as intended.
OneStream’s general prerecorded scheduler is described as allowing streams to be scheduled up to 60 days in advance. That is a scheduling horizon for prerecorded streams, not permission for a single 24/7 run to last 60 days; the dedicated 24/7 instructions state a 30-day maximum. Plan eligibility and what it may cost
There is an important discrepancy to resolve before purchase. OneStream’s 24/7 help article says the feature requires an Enterprise plan. Its pricing page separately advertises a 24-hour YouTube stream add-on for $30 per month and displays Enterprise at $139 per month in the monthly plan table. The public statements do not establish whether the add-on is available to other base plans, what it includes for concurrent streams, or how it combines with a base subscription. Confirm eligibility and the full recurring checkout total with OneStream before paying; do not treat the add-on and Enterprise requirement as interchangeable.

What the limits mean in practice
YouTube is the documented 24/7 destination
The 24/7 instructions specify YouTube. OneStream’s broader support for other platforms and RTMP destinations applies to its wider product, not necessarily to this continuous-loop feature. If a continuous prerecorded broadcast to a destination other than YouTube is essential, confirm that exact workflow with OneStream rather than inferring it from the general platform count.

A run ends after 30 days
The documented maximum duration is 30 days for one scheduled 24/7 stream. A channel plan that needs to stay live beyond that requires attention to renewal or a new schedule. Build a reminder into the operating process and verify the next run is scheduled in time; the documentation does not establish that a scheduled stream renews itself indefinitely.
Do not rely on YouTube to archive the whole broadcast
YouTube says streams under 12 hours can be automatically archived, while streams over 12 hours may not be captured at all. A 24/7 broadcast is therefore not a dependable way to create a complete YouTube replay. If you need a full archive, maintain a separate recording or archive strategy and test it before relying on it. The video still needs to meet YouTube’s rights and monetization rules
Cloud scheduling does not grant rights to music, video, or other material. YouTube’s livestream terms require the creator to have the necessary rights for live and archived content, including applicable music rights. Review YouTube’s livestream terms before broadcasting.
Do not treat a continuous loop as a monetization shortcut. YouTube applies channel monetization policies concerning originality, authenticity, and reused content; a streaming tool cannot guarantee monetization approval or ad delivery. Ads may serve only if the channel and stream qualify and monetization is enabled. Read YouTube’s channel monetization policies and its live-stream monetization guidance.

Common questions to settle before choosing OneStream
- Will a computer have to stay on? Not for the documented prerecorded cloud-scheduling workflow. A local encoder is a separate route for sending live input.
- Can one scheduled 24/7 stream run longer than 30 days? The current OneStream help instructions state a 30-day maximum per scheduled run.
- Does the feature stream continuously to every OneStream destination? The dedicated 24/7 feature is documented as YouTube-only; do not assume the general multistream destination list applies.
- Will OneStream automatically recover from every interruption? The available documentation does not establish an independent reliability rate or an uninterrupted-service guarantee. Review the current service terms and support information if recovery behavior is a purchase-critical requirement.
- Will YouTube preserve a complete 24/7 replay? No complete archive is assured by YouTube’s guidance for streams over 12 hours; arrange a separate recording if the full broadcast matters.
