Be.Live can schedule a YouTube broadcast, record a show without going live, and support prerecorded clips within a host-led production—but its available documentation does not confirm a way to load an entire finished video and have Be.Live play it as the main live broadcast. If you want to show a completed video to viewers together, use a YouTube Premiere instead. If you want a live show with prerecorded inserts, use Be.Live for the host-led broadcast and add short clips where appropriate.
Choose the format that matches what you want to do

Schedule a YouTube broadcast through Be.Live
These are Be.Live’s documented steps for scheduling a broadcast, not a method for injecting a finished video file as the full live source. Its support page says YouTube account verification can take up to 24 hours, so complete that in advance if the account is not verified.
- Open Be.Live in a supported browser. Sign in using the latest version of Chrome or Safari on a desktop or laptop.
- Open the studio’s destination settings. Choose Set destination, enable Schedule Stream, enter the date and time, and select YouTube.
- Connect YouTube. Choose the Google Account for the channel and grant the permissions Be.Live requests.
- Configure the event. Choose Public, Private, or Unlisted, upload a cover image, and enter the stream title and description.
- Save and find the event. Save the scheduled broadcast, then open it from Scheduled streams.
- Start the show manually. The scheduled event does not start itself. Be.Live’s guide says to start it within 10 minutes after the scheduled time, or you can start earlier.
Be.Live’s help page says a broadcast scheduled directly on YouTube cannot be linked as an existing scheduled show in Be.Live. If you need to use Be.Live’s scheduled-show workflow, schedule it there.
Add prerecorded material to a host-led show
Be.Live’s blog suggests using a prerecorded segment as a teaser or trailer. Its Help Center’s conference guide says, “If you want to add an intro/outro video, display images or short clips, you can easily do that as well.” These examples support using prerecorded pieces within a live production; they do not establish whole-video playback as the main stream source. Plan a host-led broadcast around those inserts rather than assuming Be.Live will autoplay a complete recording.

Optional equipment and connection basics
For conference streaming, Be.Live lists a desktop or laptop, updated Chrome or Safari, and a stable internet connection. An external camera, microphone, headphones, and lighting are optional quality improvements, not stated prerequisites. A computer microphone and camera can be enough to start a simple host-led show.
Record a Be.Live production without going live
Be.Live’s FAQ says, “Offline Recording allows you to record a broadcast without going live.” Use this when you want a file of the production rather than a live YouTube event. Be.Live’s help page identifies the downloadable video as MP4, and its FAQ says availability can take up to several hours depending on the recording length. Offline Recording creates a recording; it does not send a broadcast to YouTube.

Using a prerecorded file, a Premiere, or a Be.Live production does not remove the need to have rights to the video and audio you publish. Use material you created or are authorized to use, and review YouTube’s current policies before streaming or uploading. A Premiere is a way to present a new video together; it is not a workaround for copyright rules or a substitute for an actual live broadcast.
