You can stream one show to TikTok and Twitch at once by sending a single OBS feed to a multistream relay, or by using a browser-based studio that connects both accounts. Before setting up, check whether your TikTok account has access to desktop or third-party streaming tools: that access is not guaranteed for every account.
Choose a setup: OBS relay or browser studio
| Route | Best fit | What it does |
|---|---|---|
| OBS through a multistream relay | You already use OBS scenes and want to keep your existing production setup. | OBS sends one encoder feed to a relay, which distributes it to TikTok and Twitch. |
| Browser studio | You want to produce the show in a browser rather than install or configure streaming software. | The studio connects to both channels and uses your browser camera and microphone permissions. |
The documented workflows here use Restream’s relay and studio tools. Interface labels and account availability can change, so confirm the current steps in the service you choose.
Route 1: Stream from OBS through a multistream relay
- Connect both destinations in the relay. Sign in to the relay, connect your TikTok and Twitch accounts, then create a stream configured for an encoder or RTMP input. Enable both destinations for that stream.
- Copy the relay’s stream key. In OBS, select the relay service or an RTMP encoder destination and enter the relay’s server details and stream key as provided by the relay.
- Check the destinations and stream details. Confirm that TikTok and Twitch are both enabled in the relay and that the title, category, and other details are appropriate for each platform.
- Start the broadcast from OBS. OBS sends one feed to the relay; the relay forwards it to both connected destinations. Verify that each platform shows the live broadcast.
Use the relay’s current setup instructions for its exact server and key fields; those values and interface labels are service-specific.
Route 2: Go live from a browser studio
- Connect your TikTok and Twitch accounts in the studio and create a new stream.
- When prompted, grant the browser access to the camera and microphone you intend to use.
- Enable both channels, enter the stream details, and check the studio preview and audio.
- Start the broadcast from the studio and confirm that both destinations receive it.
This route avoids installing streaming software, but depends on the browser studio and its account integrations. A separate microphone is optional; the studio only needs permission to use an audio input that works for your setup.

Check TikTok access before planning around it
TikTok desktop and third-party streaming access may not be enabled for every account. Restream’s OBS guide says TikTok RTMP access is not available to all users. Restream’s help guidance, dated July 9, 2026, describes an authorization and approval process and a condition that gaming content make up 50% for third-party tool access. Treat that as Restream’s stated guidance, not a universal TikTok rule; check your account and the current requirements of the tool you plan to use.
Keep the Twitch broadcast within its rules
Twitch defines simulcasting as “the act of broadcasting the same stream to multiple platforms at once.” Its guidelines allow simulcasting subject to the rules and any exclusivity agreement that applies to your account.

- Keep the Twitch viewing experience comparable to the one on the other platform; do not make the Twitch broadcast worse.
- Do not use your Twitch broadcast to direct viewers to a live stream on another service. In particular, avoid on-stream calls telling Twitch viewers to watch the TikTok live.
- If you have an agreement requiring exclusivity, check its terms before simulcasting.
Protect your stream keys
A stream key identifies the stream and is needed by encoder software. Treat keys from Twitch and the relay as passwords: do not show them in screenshots, overlays, public chat, or a screen share. If a key is exposed, replace or reset it using the relevant service’s account controls before your next broadcast.
Troubleshooting
- TikTok is missing as a destination or will not authorize: Your account may not have the required desktop or third-party access. Check TikTok account availability and the relay’s current approval requirements before rebuilding your stream setup.
- OBS starts, but neither platform receives video: Check that OBS is sending to the relay’s configured encoder/RTMP input and that the relay has both destinations enabled. Re-enter the relay’s current server details and key if necessary.
- Only one platform is live: Recheck that both accounts remain connected and both destinations are enabled for this particular relay stream. Confirm status on the platform that did not receive the broadcast.
- The browser studio has no camera or audio: Allow camera and microphone access in the browser, select the intended devices, and check the preview before going live.
- The stream key appeared on screen or in a public post: Reset or replace the exposed key in the relevant service, then update the encoder or relay configuration that uses it.
- You are unsure whether a callout is allowed: Keep Twitch’s broadcast self-contained and do not direct its viewers to the TikTok live.
When this is the wrong tool for the job
These workflows are for broadcasting one live session to TikTok and Twitch. StreamNeo is a separate YouTube-only cloud service for looping uploaded videos as a 24/7 YouTube live stream; it does not send a live camera or gameplay session to TikTok or Twitch. If your goal is an always-on YouTube channel rather than simulcasting a live show, see StreamNeo.
