Outdated Drivers Are Slowing You Down

Repair common Windows errors and clear accumulated junk for a smoother, more stable PC - no reinstall needed.Free scan · no reinstallFor several independent YouTube channels that need to stay live around the clock, StreamNeo is the best starting point for straightforward cloud playout: each slot runs an uploaded playlist continuously, with any uploaded quality up to 4K 60fps at one flat price per slot, and the first day is free. Upstream is worth comparing when you need to send one feed to several destinations; Playout.video is a stronger fit for recurring calendar programming and scheduled handoffs. The right choice depends on how many distinct feeds must run at once—not just how many destinations receive one feed.
What “multiple 24/7 YouTube channels” means
A separate YouTube channel with its own playlist or source requires its own concurrent feed. Count those independent feeds first, then check how many simultaneous streams the service plan supports. Sending one feed to multiple destinations is a different workflow: Upstream, for example, says one playlist can be sent to up to 10 destinations, but that is not the same as running 10 different channel playlists.
Cloud playout keeps the video running from the provider’s infrastructure, so your home computer does not need to remain on. It is designed for uploaded or prerecorded video, not for broadcasting a live camera feed. YouTube still needs the correct channel and live event configured, and the provider’s stream limit must cover each independent feed.

Choose StreamNeo when you want separate YouTube channel playlists to keep running from the cloud without maintaining a local streaming PC. It streams to YouTube only and plays uploaded videos; it is not a camera-live service.
2. Upstream — best when one feed also needs multi-destination distribution
Upstream describes cloud playout for looping video and audio playlists, with the user’s computer off. It can send a feed to YouTube, Twitch, Kick, Rumble, Mixcloud, Facebook or a custom RTMP destination, up to 10 destinations at once. That makes it useful if you need to syndicate the same program, but destination count should not be mistaken for the number of independent YouTube channel feeds. Its listed features also include overlays, separate playlists, scheduled streams, team access and an API.

3. Playout.video — best for recurring calendar programming and handoffs
Playout.video combines continuous cloud channels with uploaded or imported videos, looping playlists, overlays and a browser-based Live Studio. Its calendar supports daily, weekly and monthly recurrence. A scheduled slot can use a playlist or a Live Studio show, and per-slot fallback options support programmed handoffs. This is a better fit than a simple loop when a channel alternates between scheduled shows and baseline content.
The vendor’s pricing page lists Creator at $19 per stream per month and Channel at $39 per stream per month on annual billing. Paid plans run one stream live at a time, with additional streams available for extra channels. Its Free plan is branded and limited to two hours at a time, so it is not equivalent to a permanent 24/7 plan. Check current inclusions and limits on Playout.video.

4. Gyre — investigate if you want a YouTube-listed continuous-streaming tool
YouTube’s encoder directory lists Gyre as a cloud-based tool for continuous prerecorded streams and says its service handles conversion for YouTube Live. Gyre’s product page describes cloud streaming and multi-channel management. The reviewed official pages do not provide a comparable current price table for simultaneous independent feeds, so confirm the concurrent-stream limit, price and scheduling features directly before deciding. YouTube notes that listed encoder products are not made by YouTube and advises users to evaluate which option fits.

How to choose for your channel setup
- Count simultaneous independent feeds. If each channel has different content, count one feed per channel that must be live at the same time. Do not count one syndicated feed as multiple independent streams.
- Decide whether a loop is enough. For an uninterrupted playlist, prioritize per-slot limits, storage and restart behavior. For a channel with programmed shows, look for recurring calendar slots, transitions back to a loop and fallbacks; Playout.video documents those calendar and fallback options.
- Compare the full cost at your required stream count. Multiply per-stream or per-slot rates by the number of feeds, and check billing term, storage and quality limits. Upstream’s multi-destination feature may matter for syndication, but it does not replace additional independent feeds.
- Match quality and media capacity. Check maximum resolution and frame rate, storage, and whether uploaded media is re-encoded. A larger library or higher-quality source files can affect which plan is practical.
- Confirm recovery and verify with your own channel. Check what happens after YouTube disconnects a feed, how playlists can be changed while live, and whether the stream-count limit covers your setup. Vendor feature descriptions are not a shared, independently measured uptime comparison.
Prepare YouTube before starting
YouTube says an encoder converts video into a digital format for streaming. Before a first live stream, the channel must be verified and live streaming enabled; YouTube says first-time activation takes at least 24 hours after the request. See YouTube’s encoder setup guidance and multistream guidance.

Cloud services can handle playout or encoding remotely, but they do not remove the need to select the right YouTube channel and live event and provide the correct stream key to the service. Check your stream health in YouTube after starting. For locally encoded simultaneous streams, YouTube recommends upload capacity 1.5–2 times the sum of the target bitrates and advises monitoring stream-health indicators. Cloud playout can reduce the load on an older local computer, particularly when sending to more than two channels or destinations.
Independent reader supportYour contribution helps us test, update, and keep practical guides available for everyone.Copyright and monetization still apply
Using a cloud service does not change the rights needed for the videos, audio or other material in a stream. Make sure you have permission to broadcast every item in the playlist and review YouTube’s applicable copyright rules before scheduling continuous playback. A 24/7 stream does not guarantee audience growth or monetization; the reviewed evidence does not establish either outcome.
Cost and reliability checks before you commit
Plan around the number of feeds that must run concurrently, not the number of channel accounts you own. Compare recurring costs at that capacity and include the billing term, storage and quality requirements in the calculation. Vendor prices and plan limits are volatile; confirm them directly before checkout.

No common independent dataset establishes which provider has the best uptime, performance under load or support. If a trial is available, test with the actual channel accounts and media you plan to use. Verify that each feed starts on its intended channel, that the playlist behaves as expected, and that recovery and schedule controls meet your needs.
