To run pre-recorded Hindi news bulletins as a continuous YouTube Live stream, create or schedule a stream in YouTube Studio, connect an encoder with the stream URL and key, and configure the encoder to play your bulletin feed. Preview the signal in YouTube Live Control Room, then monitor the broadcast. YouTube documents the connection process, but does not guarantee uninterrupted 24/7 looping; the encoder or playout method you choose must handle looping and recovery.
Before you start
Make sure the channel is eligible to stream and that your team can operate the feed for as long as you intend to broadcast.
- Your channel must be verified and must not have had a live-streaming restriction in the previous 90 days. YouTube’s live-stream setup guidance also lists simultaneous-stream limits of up to 10 active streams per channel and three per stream key. These are concurrency limits, not session-duration limits.
- Prepare the video and audio files, playlist, or feed that your encoder will play. Looping and playlist controls depend on the encoder; YouTube’s general setup instructions do not specify a universal looping recipe.
- Plan how an operator will check the broadcast, respond to failures, and preserve a local recording if the archive matters.
Create or schedule the YouTube Live stream
- In YouTube Studio, select Create → Go Live.
- On the Stream tab, create a stream to start the setup now. To announce it in advance, open Manage and schedule a stream. A scheduled stream creates an upcoming watch page that you can share; viewers can opt into reminders.
- Copy the stream URL and stream key shown by YouTube. Treat the key as a password: anyone who has it may be able to send a feed to your channel. Do not publish it or include it in public documents.
- Review the stream settings, including optional auto-start and auto-stop controls if your encoder workflow supports them. If you reuse a stream configuration, check these settings again; they may carry over.
YouTube’s official stream setup instructions describe connecting an encoder to the platform. They do not promise a no-interruption continuous broadcast.
Connect an encoder and configure the bulletin feed
Choose software or hardware
YouTube supports software encoders. A hardware encoder is optional, though YouTube recommends professional-grade hardware for higher-production setups. Choose based on compatibility with your playback source, the reliability your newsroom needs, operator familiarity, and budget; no specific model or compatibility was evaluated here.

Enter YouTube’s connection details
- In your encoder, select YouTube or a custom RTMP destination, depending on the software or device.
- Enter the stream URL as the server address and the stream key in the key field. Use the values from the stream you created or scheduled.
- Select the prepared Hindi bulletin feed as the encoder’s input. Configure its playlist, repeat behavior, transitions, and restart or failover behavior in that encoder’s own controls.
- Set output quality to a level your encoder and upload connection can sustain. YouTube’s setup workflow is encoder-agnostic; the reviewed guidance does not prescribe a universal bitrate, resolution, or keyframe interval for every bulletin feed and connection.
For a continuous channel, test the exact playlist and handoffs before going live. Confirm that the final item returns to the first item as intended, that audio does not disappear between clips, and that the encoder can continue sending the feed if a file ends or playback stalls.
Preview, start, and monitor the live broadcast
- Set up the encoder well before the scheduled start, then start sending its signal ahead of the event.
- Open YouTube Live Control Room and wait for the preview. Check the picture, audio, stream status, and that the correct scheduled event is selected.
- Start the event when the preview is ready. Confirm that viewers can open the watch page from the channel and on a mobile device.
- Keep checking picture and sound during the broadcast. Assign someone to watch for a frozen image, silent audio, dropped encoder connection, wrong playlist, or a stream that is live in the control room but unavailable on the intended watch page.
- YouTube recommends upload bandwidth headroom of 20 percent in its streaming tips. Test a backup encoder where applicable, and ensure the operating plan identifies who will act if the primary feed fails.
Choose a broadcast length and protect the archive
YouTube says streams shorter than 12 hours can be automatically archived; if a stream exceeds 12 hours, it may not be captured at all. The threshold concerns automatic capture, not a stated maximum live duration or a recommendation for an ideal session length. If a replay or backup matters, record the program locally and verify that the recording is usable.

A single long broadcast may feel seamless to viewers, while shorter scheduled sessions can make handoffs and recordings easier to manage. Decide based on staffing, restart procedures, and how you will preserve each session; YouTube’s archive guidance does not prescribe a preferred schedule.
Check rights, local requirements, and monetization risk
Clear every part of the bulletin
Obtain rights for all material in the bulletin and for each intended use, including live transmission and any archive. YouTube’s live-stream terms require the necessary rights and compliance with applicable laws and territory-specific licensing, registration, notification, or approval requirements. A newsroom may need to check requirements in each relevant territory.

Do not assume permission guarantees monetization
YouTube’s monetization policies apply to live streams and expect monetized content to be original and authentic rather than mass-produced, generic, repetitive, or manipulative. A feed that repeatedly plays unchanged bulletins can create monetization risk. Copyright permission and monetization eligibility are separate questions, and no outcome for a particular channel is guaranteed.

Keep the encoder under your team’s control
A local software or hardware encoder gives your team direct control of the playback chain, but continuity depends on the encoder, the playback source, the upload connection, and monitoring. You must confirm the selected encoder’s loop, restart, and failover behavior rather than assuming YouTube supplies it.

Troubleshooting common problems
- No preview appears in Live Control Room: Check that the encoder is running, the correct stream URL and key are entered, and the selected event matches the stream you created. Re-enter the key privately if needed.
- Video or audio drops during the broadcast: Inspect the encoder input and upload connection, then check whether the encoder’s playback or loop has stalled. YouTube recommends upload headroom and testing a backup encoder where applicable; neither replaces active monitoring.
- The bulletin stops after the last clip: Check the encoder’s playlist repeat setting and test what happens when playback reaches the end. Loop behavior is encoder-specific.
- The stream is live but viewers cannot find it: Confirm that you started the intended event and test its watch page from the channel and a mobile device.
- No archive appears: If the stream exceeded 12 hours, YouTube says it may not have been captured. Use the local recording if one was made; do not rely on automatic archiving for a long continuous broadcast.
- A monetization decision is unfavorable: Review whether the programming is original and sufficiently distinct rather than repeatedly presenting unchanged material. Rights clearance alone does not establish monetization eligibility.
