You can stream Bengali children’s rhymes from a home PC by sending a looping playlist through an encoder to YouTube’s Live Control Room. But a single 24-hour broadcast has an important replay risk: YouTube says a stream longer than 12 hours may not be captured at all. If you need dependable replays, plan shorter sessions and record locally; keeping a channel live, saving a replay, and building a rights-cleared library are three separate jobs.
Before you go live: eligibility, rights and the audience setting
Check that the channel can livestream
YouTube requires a verified channel with no live-streaming restrictions in the previous 90 days, and the person streaming must be at least 16. If someone aged 13–15 appears on the stream without a visibly accompanying adult, YouTube says chat or other live features may be restricted. Confirm eligibility in YouTube Studio before building a long-running setup.
Decide whether the stream is made for kids
Bengali nursery rhymes are likely to be child-directed, but the channel owner must classify the actual stream accurately. Set its audience in Live Control Room and check the audience setting on archived videos when needed. YouTube tells creators not to rely on automated classification to make this decision.
Made-for-kids content loses features including live chat, comments, the notification bell, Super Chat and Super Stickers, and memberships on that content. Personalized ads are not served, although contextual ads may appear in some cases. YouTube’s general live monetization options are subject to these restrictions, and ad slots are not guaranteed; do not plan on chat interaction or forecast revenue from the stream’s duration.

Clear every recording and visual you use
A rhyme’s traditional lyrics do not automatically make a particular recording, arrangement, performance, translation, illustration, or animation free to use. Use audio and visuals you have permission to broadcast, and check that the permission covers the relevant territories and use. YouTube’s livestream rules and rights-management settings do not establish who owns a particular Bengali recording. Keep a record of the licenses or permissions for each asset before adding it to the loop.
Set up the PC-to-YouTube stream
- Prepare the playlist. Gather the video files you are authorized to use and arrange them in the order you want them to repeat. Check that each file plays correctly, has the intended audio, and does not contain material you lack permission to broadcast. A stable illustrated loop can usually begin at 720p30; choose 1080p30 if sharper artwork is worth the greater encoding and upload demand.
- Create the encoder stream in YouTube Studio. Open Live Control Room, configure the stream’s audience and privacy, and choose the encoder workflow for a computer-based production. Copy the stream URL and stream key into the encoder. Treat the key like a password: anyone who obtains it may be able to send video to your channel. If it is exposed, reset it in Live Control Room before continuing.
- Set conservative video output. YouTube’s current H.264 recommendations list these settings:

Use H.264, constant bitrate (CBR), and a two-second keyframe interval. YouTube’s encoder guidance lists RTMP/RTMPS ingestion. Do not raise resolution or bitrate just because the PC allows it: a stream that the connection cannot sustain is less useful than a stable lower-resolution feed.

- Check the real upload connection. Test outbound speed on the same internet connection and in the location where the PC will run. YouTube advises that stream bitrate must not exceed available upload bandwidth and recommends 20% headroom. Allow additional room for audio, connection variation, and other devices using the network. A speed-test result is a snapshot, not a guarantee that the connection will remain stable overnight.
- Reduce avoidable failure points. If practical, connect the PC to the router by Ethernet rather than relying on Wi-Fi, and avoid heavy uploads or downloads on the same connection. A UPS for the PC and network equipment is an optional reliability measure, not a YouTube requirement; size it according to the actual equipment load and the runtime you want. No particular UPS capacity is established for every home setup.
- Start a test before the planned broadcast. Start the encoder early enough to inspect the Live Control Room preview and confirm the stream is viewable from the channel’s watch page and a mobile device. Check both picture and sound, then test any backup connection or failover you intend to use. YouTube advises checking that local archive files are intact and continuing to grow during tests.
- Keep the PC and encoder running. A home-PC stream depends on the computer, encoder, power and internet connection remaining available. Configure the encoder to play the prepared playlist repeatedly, and monitor the broadcast rather than assuming that a successful start means it will stay healthy. YouTube warns, “A disruption on your connectivity could mean a broken stream.”
Choose between one continuous event and shorter sessions
If “24/7” means viewers should always find a live feed, one continuous event is the simplest presentation, but it is not the safest way to preserve a YouTube replay. YouTube’s archive guidance says, “If your stream exceeds 12 hours, it may not be captured at all.” The guidance does not promise that every shorter stream will be archived successfully either, so retain a local recording when the replay matters.
- One continuous event: keeps one live presentation running while the PC and connection hold up, but carries the greatest risk of losing the YouTube archive if it exceeds 12 hours.
- Several shorter scheduled blocks: makes it easier to keep each event below the 12-hour warning threshold and gives viewers separate replays, but requires restarting or scheduling multiple broadcasts. Keep a local recording as a second copy.
These choices solve different problems: the live feed serves viewers now, the YouTube archive provides a replay when captured, and local recording protects a copy you control. Plan for each one rather than treating “live” as proof that a replay exists.

Common problems and what to check
- The stream never appears in Live Control Room: confirm the encoder has the correct stream URL and current key, and that you selected the encoder workflow. If the key may have been copied incorrectly or exposed, reset it in Live Control Room and update the encoder.
- The preview stutters or the stream disconnects: compare the configured bitrate with actual upload capacity, restore the recommended 20% headroom, and check whether other devices are using bandwidth. Try Ethernet if the PC is on Wi-Fi; test a backup connection rather than assuming it will take over correctly.
- The PC struggles to encode: reduce output from 1080p30 to 720p30 and use the corresponding recommended bitrate. Retest while the intended playlist is playing; a static graphic and a more complex video may not place the same load on the encoder.
- The broadcast ends after a power or internet interruption: check power, router and ISP connectivity, then restart the encoder and verify the feed in Live Control Room. A UPS or backup internet path can reduce some interruptions, but only if it is configured and tested for the equipment and connection involved.
- YouTube did not save the replay: check the event length first. A stream longer than 12 hours may not be captured at all; use shorter events and verify the local recording rather than relying only on YouTube’s archive.
- A claim or restriction appears on the rhyme video: stop and review the rights for the specific recording, arrangement, performance and visuals. A traditional song or familiar lyric alone does not establish permission for the version used.
- Viewers cannot chat or use expected monetization features: check the audience setting. If the content is made for kids, several interactive and monetization features are unavailable on that content.
