To schedule a YouTube live stream in Be.Live, open the studio, choose Set destination, turn on Schedule Stream, set the date and time, select YouTube, connect your Google account and channel, choose privacy, add the stream details, and save. This creates a YouTube announcement—it does not start the broadcast automatically. You must return to Be.Live and start the show yourself.
Before you schedule
- Verify your YouTube channel in advance. Be.Live says YouTube verification can take up to 24 hours.
- Use the latest version of Chrome or Safari and sign in to Be.Live.
- Have a desktop or laptop, Google account, verified YouTube channel, webcam, and stable internet connection ready. Be.Live recommends wired Ethernet and headphones to help reduce lag, echo, and feedback.
- Create the scheduled broadcast in Be.Live’s studio. Be.Live says a YouTube event scheduled separately on YouTube cannot be linked as a Be.Live scheduled show.
Schedule the stream in Be.Live
- Open the Be.Live studio and select Set destination.
- Turn on Schedule Stream, choose the date and time, and select YouTube.
- Select the Google account and YouTube channel to connect. Review and authorize the permissions Be.Live requests for its YouTube API integration.
- Choose the audience setting: Public, Private, or Unlisted.
- Add a cover image, title, and description, then save. Be.Live’s image guidance specifies JPG or PNG, a maximum file size of 3 MB, a 16:9 aspect ratio, and a filename without symbols or special characters. Examples of suitable dimensions include 1920×1080 and 1280×720.
Choose the right privacy setting

Find and share the scheduled link
In the Be.Live studio, open the profile menu and choose My Streams. Locate the scheduled broadcast and copy its link to share the announcement ahead of time.
Start the broadcast at showtime
- Return to the Be.Live studio and select the scheduled stream.
- Add a camera source to the staging section.
- Switch on Show in Stream.
- Press Start. Be.Live describes a three-second countdown before the broadcast begins.
Be.Live says you may start earlier than the scheduled time, but you need to start within 10 minutes after the scheduled time. Scheduling the announcement alone will not put you on air.
Edit or change a scheduled show
Be.Live says you can edit the date and time, privacy, cover image, title, and description of an existing scheduled YouTube broadcast. The destination cannot be changed once that broadcast is scheduled. Be.Live also says multiple broadcasts may be scheduled.

Common problems and fixes
You cannot connect the YouTube channel
Check that the channel is verified, then allow time for verification to complete; Be.Live says it can take up to 24 hours. Confirm that you selected the intended Google account and channel and authorized the requested permissions.
The broadcast does not start at the scheduled time
A scheduled event is an announcement, not an automatic broadcast. Open the scheduled show in Be.Live and start it manually. Be.Live’s stated operating window is to start within 10 minutes after the scheduled time, or earlier.

You cannot attach an event already scheduled on YouTube
Create the scheduled show through Be.Live’s studio instead; Be.Live says events scheduled directly on YouTube cannot be linked as Be.Live scheduled shows.
The cover image is rejected
Check that the image is JPG or PNG, no larger than 3 MB, and 16:9. Use a filename without symbols or special characters; Be.Live gives 1920×1080 and 1280×720 as example dimensions.
