For audio, go to Settings > Audio and set Mic/Auxiliary Audio to Microphone (NVIDIA Broadcast). For video, add a Video Capture Source and select Camera (NVIDIA Broadcast). OBS receives the processed devices; Broadcast applies the effects.
Check that your PC can run NVIDIA Broadcast
NVIDIA’s current requirements list a GeForce RTX 2060, Quadro RTX 3000, TITAN RTX, or higher GPU; at least 8 GB of RAM; and 64-bit Windows 10. NVIDIA lists Intel Core i5 8600 or AMD Ryzen r5 2600 or higher as recommended CPU guidance, plus internet connectivity during installation. Its listed drivers are NVIDIA Studio Driver R570, Game Ready Driver R570, or NVIDIA RTX Enterprise Driver R570 and above. Requirements can change with app versions, so check NVIDIA’s current Broadcast page before buying hardware or troubleshooting.
The NVIDIA Broadcast FAQ says the app uses RTX GPU Tensor Cores and does not support GTX GPUs. OBS Studio is listed as a supported app. See NVIDIA’s Broadcast FAQ.
Set up your microphone in Broadcast and OBS

Open NVIDIA Broadcast. In its microphone settings, choose your actual physical microphone as the input device.

Enable the audio effect or effects you want in Broadcast. Use only what you need; available combinations can vary, and multiple effects increase GPU use.

In OBS, open Settings > Audio.

Under Mic/Auxiliary Audio, choose Microphone (NVIDIA Broadcast). This routes the processed microphone into OBS.

Speak and check the OBS audio meter. Make a short test recording or check your stream preview to confirm the right input is active before relying on it live.
Use NVIDIA Broadcast video in an OBS scene

In NVIDIA Broadcast, select your actual camera as the camera input and enable the video effect you want.

In OBS, select the scene that should show the camera and add a Video Capture Source.

In the source’s device selection, choose Camera (NVIDIA Broadcast), then confirm the preview shows the processed camera feed.

If the virtual device does not appear, check that Broadcast is open, the physical camera is selected there, and the app and drivers meet NVIDIA’s current requirements.

Avoid duplicate noise removal. If Broadcast is filtering microphone noise, turn off similar processing in OBS, your audio driver, or another processing layer. Stacking similar filters can alter the result unnecessarily.

Limit effects to the ones you need. NVIDIA advises that running more than one effect increases Broadcast’s GPU usage, and some combinations may not be available.

Keep your normal Windows playback device. If you want to hear ordinary, unfiltered system audio, leave your actual headset or speakers selected as the Windows output rather than setting NVIDIA Broadcast Speakers as the default.

Check each route independently. OBS microphone selection controls the mic sent to the production; adding the Broadcast camera is a separate scene-source step.
Troubleshoot common setup issues

| No NVIDIA Broadcast microphone option in OBS | Broadcast is not open, the physical mic is not selected, or the PC/app does not meet current requirements. | Open Broadcast, select the real microphone there, and verify the GPU, Windows, RAM, and driver requirements on NVIDIA’s product page. |
| OBS shows no microphone activity | OBS may be listening to another input, or the physical device may not be selected in Broadcast. | Recheck Broadcast’s microphone input and set Mic/Auxiliary Audio to Microphone (NVIDIA Broadcast) in OBS; then watch the meter while speaking. |
| Camera feed is missing | The OBS scene may not contain a Video Capture Source using Broadcast’s camera device. | Select the physical camera in Broadcast, add or edit the OBS Video Capture Source, and choose Camera (NVIDIA Broadcast). |
