Jason Duval and Lucia Caminos are the paired protagonists Rockstar has introduced for Grand Theft Auto VI. Rockstar’s official synopsis says an easy score goes wrong, pulling them into a criminal conspiracy across Leonida and leaving them to rely on each other. Their published biographies establish parts of their pasts and immediate aims, but not the full story, their eventual relationship, or how the conspiracy ends.
Who are Jason and Lucia in GTA 6?
Rockstar foregrounds Jason and Lucia as the two leads of Grand Theft Auto VI. The official synopsis connects them through a botched score and a conspiracy spanning the fictional state of Leonida. It says they are forced to rely on each other if they want to make it out alive, making that mutual dependence the clearest confirmed link between them.
That setup establishes a criminal partnership under pressure, not every detail of their relationship. Rockstar has not confirmed whether they are romantically involved, who takes the lead, or whether their alliance will last.
What is Jason Duval’s backstory?
Rockstar says Jason grew up around “grifters and crooks,” spent time in the Army, and later worked for local drug runners in the Keys. His short biography sums up his present outlook: “Jason wants an easy life, but things just keep getting harder.”

- 12-Month Warranty: Backed by a 12-month manufacturer warranty for peace of mind. Designed to meet strict quality control standards for reliable everyday performance.
The biography suggests a man who would prefer an easier path but remains caught up in dangerous circumstances. It does not give a full account of his military service, his family, or the events that brought him to the Keys.
What is Lucia Caminos’s backstory?
Lucia’s biography says that fighting for her family landed her in Leonida Penitentiary. After her release, she is determined to make smarter moves and improve her prospects. Rockstar ties that ambition to a better life her mother dreamed of for them while they were in Liberty City.

That is the published premise; it does not reveal the conspiracy’s full nature, the order of events, or the ending. Comparisons to Bonnie and Clyde, predictions of betrayal, and claims about who controls the relationship are interpretations rather than confirmed character facts.
