No verified evidence shows that a complete GTA 6 build associated with CyberLeek is publicly downloadable. TweakTown reported on October 3, 2026, that viral posts pointed to multiple supposed full-build listings with conflicting file sizes, but none had been verified as legitimate. Leaked gameplay footage is a separate, previously acknowledged matter; it does not prove that a complete playable game is available.
What the CyberLeek full-build claims establish—and what they don’t
TweakTown’s October 3, 2026 report described a viral TikTok claiming that the entire game had leaked and pointing to a listing named “Grand Theft Auto VI CYBERLEEK-build.v1.0.245.ISO.” The report said multiple purported downloads were circulating with conflicting sizes and that none was verified as legitimate. The post’s reported engagement—more than 306,000 likes, 44,000 shares, 36,000 saves and 5,600 comments—shows how widely the claim spread, not whether a file is genuine. TweakTown’s report
That is not the same as saying there has never been GTA 6 leak material. PC Gamer reported that CyberLeek’s earlier clips appeared to show access to a playable build or part of one, while explicitly not establishing that the complete game was available. Rockstar Games acknowledged that gameplay videos had leaked in August 2026. In its public response, quoted by PC Gamer on August 26, Rockstar said: “It would be an understatement to say that having videos of Grand Theft Auto 6 gameplay leak in this way has been heartbreaking for our team, and this is obviously not how we intended for you to see the game after all this time.” PC Gamer’s report on what the clips showed · Rockstar’s response, as quoted by PC Gamer
Neither the existence of leaked footage nor a filename, advertised size or viral post verifies the current full-game downloads. The October 3 report did not establish sample-level analysis of each listing. The accurate description is that the listings are unverified; no specific one should be called a real complete game.

Why unofficial GTA 6 downloads are risky
There is a documented malware lure behind the concern. Malwarebytes analyzed fake GTA 6 demo pages that delivered an information stealer, and noted that interest in leaks gives scammers a convincing reason to promote bogus downloads. One examined executable was 1.1 MB—far too small to contain a modern AAA game—but that measurement applies to that sample, not necessarily to the newer listings. Do not download or run a purported leaked build, demo, beta or “watch the full leak” installer. A search result, paid ad, familiar logo, polished page or large advertised file size is not authentication: scammers can copy official artwork and branding. Avoid trying the file in a virtual machine, too; that does not turn an unverified download into a safe one.

How to verify legitimate GTA 6 news and access
- Check Rockstar’s official GTA VI page for news and media. Use Rockstar’s GTA VI page rather than a post or download page claiming to reveal a build.
- Use official platform stores for game downloads. Malwarebytes recommends downloading games only from official stores or the publisher. A page that resembles Rockstar’s site is not proof that Rockstar operates it.
- Check the exact purchase format with Rockstar Support. Rockstar Support says the physical format is a box containing a download code, not a disc, and that availability and preloading for that format begin November 12, 2026. If you already ran a purported build installer
Treat passwords and active browser sessions as potentially exposed, then take these steps:
- Scan the affected computer with a trusted security product and remove any detections.
- From a clean device, change important passwords. Start with your primary email account, then change passwords for financial and identity-linked accounts.
- Revoke active access. Use account controls to sign out everywhere, revoke sessions or remove unfamiliar devices. Changing a password alone may not invalidate a stolen browser session.
These are Malwarebytes’ recommended incident-response steps for this type of threat. The fake demo sample it analyzed is a reason to take unofficial installers seriously, but it is not proof that every currently circulating listing contains that same malware.
