To run prerecorded yoga footage as a continuous YouTube Live broadcast, you need two things: a video edit whose ending joins smoothly to its beginning, and an encoder or cloud service that keeps sending the video to YouTube. YouTube does not automatically loop an uploaded video. For a local setup, prepare and test the loop, create a broadcast in YouTube Studio, connect an encoder with your stream URL and key, then monitor the preview and viewer playback.
What “seamless loop” means
A continuous broadcast and a seamless loop solve different problems. The encoder keeps a live feed going; the edit makes the transition from the last frame and sound back to the first appear smooth. A loop setting in software can repeat a file, but it cannot fix a visible jump, a pause, or an abrupt audio change in the source.
YouTube’s live-stream guidance covers sending an encoder feed to the platform. It does not specify how to edit a gapless loop or provide a universal loop control for encoder software, so check the documentation for the editor and encoder you choose.
Prepare the yoga footage
Confirm rights before you stream
Use video and audio that you own or are licensed to use for this broadcast. YouTube says live content must comply with its Community Guidelines and Terms of Service. Music that is cleared for personal listening or included in an editing app is not necessarily cleared for a public live stream; check the applicable license for both the video and soundtrack.

- Read Before You Buy — No Video Output: These adapters support charging and USB 2.0 data transfer, but cannot transmit video signals. Except for standard USB webcams (which use USB data only), they are not compatible with HDMI/DisplayPort cables, video-capable USB-C hubs, or docking stations with video output.
- Convert USB-A Ports to USB-C: Designed to connect USB-C earphones, cables, flash drives, card readers, and other USB-C accessories to standard USB-A ports. Plug-and-play with no drivers or software required.
- Aluminum Alloy Housing: Built with a sturdy aluminum alloy shell that aids in heat dissipation and protects against daily wear and scratches. Designed to maintain a stable and secure connection.
- Compact & Travel-Friendly: The ultra-compact design allows the adapter to stay plugged into your device without blocking adjacent ports or adding bulk, reducing wear and tear on your original USB ports.
- 12-Month Warranty: Backed by a 12-month manufacturer warranty for peace of mind. Designed to meet strict quality control standards for reliable everyday performance.
Make and test the join
- Choose the segment you intend to repeat and identify its in-point and out-point in a video editor.
- Inspect the transition from the out-point back to the in-point. Look for changes in camera position, movement, lighting, subject position, and background sound that could make the reset noticeable.
- Adjust the cut or source material until the visual and audio transition works, then export the loop file.
- Play the exported file through the intended encoder path and watch and listen across the join. A clean edit in the timeline does not by itself confirm how the encoded stream will sound or look.
No single edit technique guarantees a seamless result for every yoga video. The final check is the loop as viewers will receive it.
If you use a playlist
Decide whether clips should play in a fixed order or at random. Check every transition that can occur, including the last clip returning to the first. If the order changes, verify the possible joins rather than testing only one sequence.

Check YouTube Live eligibility and create the broadcast
- Enable live streaming early. YouTube requires a verified channel with no live-streaming restrictions in the preceding 90 days. First-time live-streaming enablement can take up to 24 hours, so do not leave activation until broadcast day. See YouTube’s live-streaming eligibility guidance and encoder setup guidance.
- Open YouTube Studio’s Live Control Room. Create or schedule the broadcast, then copy the stream URL and stream key from the stream settings. YouTube describes stream keys as “like your YouTube stream’s password and address.” Keep the key private.
- Choose broadcast handling deliberately. YouTube permits up to 10 active streams per channel and up to 3 active streams per stream key. Its help guidance says streams shorter than 12 hours are automatically archived; do not assume that one archive will handle a 24/7 broadcast indefinitely. Decide how broadcasts and archives will be managed. See YouTube’s stream settings guidance and live-stream archive guidance.
Run the loop from a local encoder
YouTube recognizes software encoders running on a computer as one way to send a live feed; it also supports standalone hardware encoders. The exact labels for selecting media and enabling repeat depend on the software, so use its current documentation rather than assuming a particular menu name.
- In the encoder, add the exported yoga video or playlist as the media source.
- Set the source or playlist to repeat using the encoder’s loop behavior. Confirm whether it repeats one file, the full playlist, or both.
- Enter the YouTube stream URL and key in the encoder’s YouTube or custom RTMP destination settings, as applicable.
- Start the encoder and check the incoming picture and sound in the Live Control Room preview before relying on the public broadcast.
- Open the watch page and check playback on a phone as well as the device you used for setup. Confirm the video and audio remain continuous over a complete loop.
- Keep the computer, encoder software, power, and network available for the full run. A local encoder cannot keep sending the feed if the machine shuts down or loses its connection.
For YouTube’s encoder categories and setup workflow, see its encoder guide. YouTube’s guide explains how to connect an encoder; it does not establish the exact loop controls for every third-party encoder.

Monitor the broadcast and plan for long runs
- Check the preview and viewer experience. YouTube recommends testing the encoder setup, checking the Live Control Room preview, confirming that the event is accessible from channel and watch pages, and testing mobile playback.
- Monitor audio and video. Watch for frozen or missing picture, silence, unexpected resets, and a loop join that becomes apparent during playback.
- Check local recording if you make one. Confirm that the local archive file is growing rather than assuming it is being saved correctly.
- Consider latency. YouTube notes that lower latency can mean more buffering for viewers. If the stream is prerecorded and there is no real-time interaction, the lowest-latency setting may matter less than stable playback.
- Plan archive and broadcast rotation. YouTube’s automatic archive guidance covers streams shorter than 12 hours. A 24/7 stream needs a plan for viewer-facing broadcasts and archive management rather than an assumption that a single uninterrupted event and archive will continue indefinitely.
- Protect the key. If it is exposed, an owner or manager can reset it in YouTube; update the encoder with the replacement key before streaming again.
These checks follow YouTube’s live-stream setup and monitoring guidance, stream-settings guidance, and archive guidance.
Local encoder or cloud playout?
A local encoder gives you direct control over the media source but depends on your computer, power, network, and encoder staying available. Cloud playout moves the repeated media to a provider’s infrastructure, so your local computer may not need to run continuously. Check how any service handles broadcast rotation, stream keys, and archives before choosing it.
