You can schedule a Kannada guided-relaxation replay as a YouTube Live event in YouTube Studio, but scheduling alone will not play the recording or keep it looping. You must connect an encoder that sends the replay, check its preview in Live Control Room, and click Go live. For an uninterrupted feed, the encoder or hosting service must keep running; for an archive of each session, shorter broadcasts are safer because YouTube may not archive streams longer than 12 hours.
Choose between a scheduled event and an always-on feed
A scheduled broadcast is a future event with a watch page that you can share and that viewers can set reminders for. It does not transmit your video automatically. The encoder sends the video and audio, and you start the broadcast in Live Control Room. YouTube documents scheduled broadcasts separately from a continuous 24/7 channel feed. YouTube’s encoder instructions cover creating and running an encoder stream; Google’s Live Streaming API documentation distinguishes broadcasts from streams.
- Choose a scheduled session if you want a fixed start time, an upcoming watch page, reminders, or a separate event for each replay.
- Choose a continuous feed if the channel should play around the clock. The encoder or host must deliver the feed continuously, and you should plan for monitoring and recovery if it stops.
- Separate the live feed from the archive. A continuous broadcast is not a guarantee that YouTube will keep a complete replay of it.
There is no Kannada-specific Live setup in the cited YouTube guidance; the workflow is the same as for other languages. Use Kannada for the narration, title, description, and other audience-facing details as appropriate, and make sure the recording is the version you intend viewers to hear.
Enable live streaming before scheduling
Your channel must be verified and must not have had a live-streaming restriction in the preceding 90 days. First-time activation can take up to 24 hours, so enable Live ahead of the event rather than waiting until its scheduled start. Schedule the YouTube Live event
- In YouTube Studio, select Create → Go Live.
- Open Manage and select Schedule stream.
- Create a new event or reuse settings from an existing stream. Add the event details and set its planned start time.
- Save the event, then use its watch page to share the schedule. Viewers can opt into reminders.
Studio labels and layouts can change. If the menu wording differs, use YouTube Studio’s current live-stream controls rather than assuming that scheduling has started the broadcast.
Send the replay from an encoder
YouTube accepts software encoders as well as standalone hardware encoders; a dedicated encoder is optional. For the scheduled event, use the server URL and stream key shown for that stream in Live Control Room. Keep the key private: anyone who obtains it may be able to send video to your channel.

- Open the scheduled stream in Live Control Room and copy its server URL and stream key into your encoder.
- Choose the Kannada replay file or playlist in the encoder and configure it to send the content. If you want repetition, configure the encoder or hosting service to loop the file; scheduling the YouTube event does not make a replay loop.
- Start the encoder’s output. Wait for YouTube to receive the feed and show its preview in Live Control Room.
- Check the picture and sound in the preview, including the start and end of the recording and any loop transition. Then select Go live in Live Control Room.
- Monitor the stream while it is running. YouTube advises checking the preview before starting and monitoring audio and video quality during the broadcast.
For encoder-specific connection steps, consult YouTube’s instructions for creating a live stream with an encoder. YouTube identifies AJA HELO Plus as one verified hardware encoder and describes scheduled pre-recorded media capability; it is an option, not a requirement.
Decide how to handle sessions and archives
YouTube says streams shorter than 12 hours can be automatically archived. If a stream runs longer than 12 hours, it may not be captured at all. If preserving each relaxation session matters, keep a local recording and consider separate scheduled broadcasts under 12 hours rather than relying on one uninterrupted feed to produce a complete archive. Read YouTube’s live-stream archive guidance before planning an archive-dependent workflow.

For an always-on ambient channel, treat the live feed and its recording as separate outputs: arrange independent local recording and monitoring, and do not assume the YouTube archive will contain the entire run.
Check rights before going live
You are responsible for having the rights needed for every part of the broadcast and any archive: the spoken relaxation script and recording, background music, and visuals. YouTube scans live streams for third-party content. It can interrupt or terminate a stream if the material continues after a warning. A license does not necessarily prevent interruption if the rights holder has not allowlisted your channel in Content ID. Review YouTube’s guidance on copyright issues with live streams and its livestream terms and conditions.

- Use music and visuals you created, licensed for this use, or otherwise have permission to broadcast and archive.
- Check that a licence covers both live transmission and keeping the recording available afterward; do not assume permission for one covers the other.
- Have a way to stop or replace the feed promptly if YouTube flags content.
Do not assume a repeated replay will be monetized
Copyright permission and monetization eligibility are separate questions. YouTube says monetized content should be original and “authentic.” Its policy page states that on July 15, 2025, it renamed the “repetitious content” policy to “inauthentic content” to clarify its application to repetitive or mass-produced material. Highly repetitive, mass-produced, or minimally varied content can be ineligible. Reviewers may assess the channel’s theme, videos, metadata, and share of watch time, so the outcome cannot be determined from one stream alone. See YouTube’s channel monetization policies.

The feed needs an encoder or host that stays active. You can operate a computer yourself or investigate a hosted option; each approach has different operating and monitoring responsibilities.

- Local computer: Run compatible encoder software on a computer that remains on and connected. You are responsible for power, internet connectivity, restarts, and monitoring.

Troubleshoot common problems
- Live activation is unavailable: Check that the channel is verified and has no live-stream restriction in the prior 90 days. If this is the first activation, allow up to 24 hours.
- The event is scheduled but nothing is playing: Scheduling does not transmit content. Start the encoder with the scheduled event’s server URL and stream key, wait for the preview, then click Go live.
- YouTube does not show a preview: Check the encoder’s connection and confirm that it is using the correct event’s server URL and stream key. Keep the key private and verify that the encoder is actually sending the selected replay.
- The recording is silent or the loop sounds abrupt: Inspect the file and listen to the preview, including the transition from the end back to the beginning. Change the media or loop setup before publishing if the transition is unsuitable.
- The live feed is interrupted by a copyright warning: Stop or replace the flagged material and review the rights for the recording, music, and visuals. Permission alone may not prevent interruption if the channel is not allowlisted by the rights holder in Content ID.
- The archive is incomplete or missing: A stream longer than 12 hours may not be captured at all. Keep an independent local recording and use shorter sessions when a complete YouTube archive is important.
