To run a 24/7 YouTube radio-style stream of Bengali Rabindra Sangeet, first enable live streaming on the channel, clear the rights for every composition and recording, then send a continuous audio-and-visual programme through YouTube’s live workflow using an encoder or a cloud service. YouTube’s official guidance warns that copyright matches can interrupt live streams; it does not prescribe a complete 24/7 operating setup or universal encoder settings.
Before you set up the stream
Enable livestreaming in advance
YouTube for Artists advises verifying the account at least 24 hours before the planned broadcast. Treat that as lead time, not a guarantee that a particular channel will be eligible or ready: check the channel’s live access and any account-specific prompts before you schedule a launch. YouTube for Artists: Going live for music channels
Clear both the composition and the recording
Rabindra Sangeet is a repertoire, not a blanket copyright permission. A composition’s age or public-domain status does not automatically clear a later singer’s performance or a commercially released sound recording. YouTube identifies musical compositions and sound recordings as distinct copyright subject matter, and puts the responsibility for verifying public-domain status on the creator. India’s Copyright Act also defines musical works and sound recordings separately. YouTube: Copyright on YouTube · Government of India Copyright Office: Copyright Act, 1957, Chapter I
For each track, establish who controls the relevant rights and whether the intended use is permitted. A licence should address livestreaming, the territories where the stream will be available, and—if you intend to keep the replay—archiving and on-demand viewing. Finding an audio file online or owning a CD is not, by itself, permission to retransmit it on YouTube.

Ask about Content ID allowlisting
YouTube scans live streams for matches to third-party content. A match may replace the broadcast with a placeholder, trigger a warning, interrupt or terminate the stream, or lead to a strike. YouTube advises creators using protected music to coordinate with the label or distributor; if you have a licence, ask the rights owner to allowlist your channel in Content ID and get confirmation before launch. A licence does not necessarily stop an automated interruption if the channel is not allowlisted. YouTube Help: Copyright issues with live streams
Build the playlist and document permissions
Prepare the programme before creating the live event. Keep a track-level record so you can check permissions and respond quickly if a rights question arises.

This is a practical record-keeping checklist, not a YouTube-prescribed form. YouTube lists permission, an applicable Creative Commons licence, YouTube Audio Library or Creator Music material, applicable exceptions, and verified public-domain status among possible routes for using content. None guarantees that a claim or strike will not occur, and public-domain verification can be complicated. YouTube’s copyright guidance
Set up a do-it-yourself continuous stream
YouTube for Artists describes encoder streaming as an option when a music channel needs more customization and control than a simple mobile or webcam broadcast. Use a workflow that can present your playlist with a consistent visual—such as a title card or other visual you have permission to use—and can keep sending the programme for the intended duration. The precise encoder, looping method, and recovery behavior depend on your setup; YouTube’s published guidance cited here does not specify a particular encoder, bitrate, resolution, keyframe interval, or 24/7 relay recipe. - Verify live access. Check the channel’s live-streaming status and complete account verification at least 24 hours before the planned start.
- Prepare the media. Arrange only rights-cleared tracks in the intended order, prepare the accompanying visual, and decide whether the broadcast will be archived.
- Create the live broadcast in YouTube’s live interface. Set its title, description, visibility, and start details. Choose an encoder-based workflow for a controlled, continuous presentation, then connect the encoder using the stream key and ingest details shown for that broadcast. Treat the stream key as a credential: do not publish or share it.
- Configure and test the encoder on your actual setup. Select audio and video settings supported by the source files, encoder, and connection, and test a private or unlisted broadcast before relying on a continuous run. There is no source-backed universal bitrate or resolution to apply to every Rabindra Sangeet stream; avoid treating any generic preset as a YouTube requirement.
- Start the encoder and check the live output. Confirm that the intended playlist is playing, the audio is audible and stable, the visual is present, and YouTube is receiving the broadcast. Keep YouTube Studio available to monitor status and copyright warnings.
- Plan how the stream will recover. Check whether your chosen encoder and computer can resume after a dropped connection or restart, and decide how you will notice an outage and restart the broadcast. Test these behaviors before launch; YouTube’s cited guidance does not provide a required failover, power-backup, or restart design.
Decide whether to keep a replay
If you archive the broadcast, rights clearance needs to cover the retained video and on-demand replay as well as the live transmission. YouTube says Content ID claims can be made after a live stream is completed, so review the archive and any Studio notices after the session ends. YouTube Help: Copyright issues with live streams
Or let it run in the cloud
If the programme is made from uploaded recordings rather than a live camera, StreamNeo is a cloud option for keeping a YouTube channel live with uploaded videos or a playlist. Upload the recording or build a playlist, add your YouTube stream key once, and go live. Nothing has to stay on at home; each slot streams uploaded content at its original quality up to 4K 60fps for one flat slot price, without re-encoding or quality tiers. It can automatically recover if YouTube drops the stream. StreamNeo is for YouTube and uploaded video playback, not camera-originated live video.

Troubleshoot common problems
| What you see | Likely cause | What to do |
|---|---|---|
| Livestreaming is unavailable when you try to create the broadcast. | The channel has not completed verification or live access is not enabled. | Check the channel’s live access and account prompts, then allow at least 24 hours after verification before the planned broadcast. |
| The stream is interrupted, replaced by a placeholder, or stopped. | YouTube may have detected third-party content, or the connection or encoder may have stopped sending the stream. | Check YouTube Studio for copyright warnings or strikes. For licensed music, contact the rights owner or distributor about Content ID allowlisting. Separately check encoder and connection status, then resume using the recovery method you tested. |
| A track is claimed after the broadcast ends. | Content ID claims may be made after a live stream is completed. | Review the notice in Studio and use the platform’s claim process only if you have the rights or other valid basis to dispute it. Confirm archive permissions before retaining or publishing the replay. |
| The encoder appears connected, but the programme is not progressing as expected. | The playlist, source media, or encoder’s looping behavior may not be configured for continuous playback. | Test the entire playback path before launch, including what happens at the end of a playlist and after an encoder restart. The exact controls differ by encoder and are not established by YouTube’s cited guidance. |
India-specific rights caution
India’s Copyright Rules describe advance notice and royalties for certain statutory broadcasting uses under section 31D. The official rule text does not, on its own, establish that this framework applies to a particular YouTube livestream, recording, territory, or archive. Do not treat statutory licensing as automatic clearance for this stream; check the current consolidated law, rules, rates, and applicability with a qualified rights professional for the intended use.
