To broadcast continuously, create a Live event and send YouTube a continuous program feed through an encoder—or use a cloud service that plays uploaded videos. Before going live, confirm that your rights cover live streaming in the territories where the broadcast will be available.
Choose between looping a playlist for yourself and broadcasting it live
| What you want | What to do | What it does |
|---|---|---|
| Keep listening to a YouTube playlist | Open the playlist and use its repeat control. | Repeats playback for you; it does not create a YouTube Live broadcast. YouTube’s playlist instructions describe this as a playback control. |
| Broadcast a continuous devotional program as Live | Create a Live event and send a continuous feed using an encoder or a cloud streaming service. | Creates a live broadcast for viewers. YouTube lists encoder streaming as a Live method. YouTube’s encoder guidance covers the workflow. |
The distinction matters: playing an existing YouTube playlist on a device and repeating it does not rebroadcast its audio and video as your channel’s live program.
Check that your channel can go live
YouTube’s stated requirements include a verified channel with no live-streaming restrictions in the previous 90 days; streamers must be at least 16. See YouTube’s live-streaming eligibility guidance for current account requirements and available methods. YouTube offers mobile, webcam, encoder and console options, but their capabilities differ. An encoder is the relevant documented path for sending a prepared continuous program feed.
Clear the Bengali devotional recordings for live use
Devotional subject matter does not itself establish that you may rebroadcast a recording. A song may involve separate rights in the composition, lyrics, performance and recording. Make sure your permission covers live transmission on YouTube and the territories in which the stream is available, and retain the licenses or written permissions.

YouTube’s live-stream terms put responsibility for the necessary rights on the content provider, including music licensing rights. This is a general platform requirement, not a rule specific to Bengali music.
- If a rights owner licensed the recordings to you, ask whether they need to add your channel to the Content ID allowlist before you stream. YouTube warns that licensed material can still interrupt a live broadcast if the channel is not allowlisted.
- Do not treat a “free” label, a purchase receipt, or credit in the description as proof that live-use rights are covered. Check the actual license.
- Consider original recordings or music from YouTube’s Audio Library; where Creator Music is available, check its terms for the particular use. YouTube notes that music marked free can still be flagged.
Read YouTube’s copyright guidance for live streams before using third-party material.

Set up a continuous Live broadcast with an encoder
YouTube documents encoder streaming as a way to send a prepared program to a Live event. The exact playlist-repeat and restart controls depend on the encoder you choose; YouTube’s general guidance does not prescribe settings for a particular third-party app. Follow that encoder’s current instructions for creating a playlist or continuous feed.
- Prepare the program. Assemble the devotional videos into the intended playback order in an encoder that supports a continuous feed. Confirm that the files play through cleanly and that you have live-use rights for every item.
- Create a Live event in YouTube Studio. Open Live Control Room, set up the stream or event, and copy the stream key and server details shown there. Treat the key like a password; anyone with it may be able to send a feed to your stream.
- Configure your encoder. Enter the server details and stream key, then select the prepared program feed. Use the encoder’s documentation for its specific playlist, loop and reconnect controls; do not assume a viewer-side YouTube repeat button controls the encoder output.
- Start early and preview. Connect the encoder and check the preview in Live Control Room before the planned start. Verify that the event is accessible to the intended audience and that both picture and sound are coming through.
- Monitor the broadcast. Keep an eye on YouTube Studio and the encoder while live. YouTube recommends testing in advance and monitoring audio and video quality. If you rely on a local archive, verify it is recording as expected.
- End the event deliberately. Stop the feed using the encoder and finish the event in Studio as appropriate for your setup. Check the archive afterward if you need to review the broadcast or any copyright notice.
A computer can run this workflow, but YouTube says expensive equipment is not required to start. The computer and encoder do need to remain operational and connected for as long as they are responsible for sending the feed.

Understand copyright interruptions and recover safely
YouTube scans live streams for third-party content. If it detects material, it may warn you, temporarily replace the stream, or terminate it if the material continues. An archived broadcast may also receive a Content ID claim after the live event has ended.
- If Studio issues a warning: check the notice and identify the segment or rights issue. Remove or replace the material if you cannot establish that the live use is authorized.
- If you have a license: contact the rights owner about Content ID allowlisting for your channel. A license alone may not prevent an automated interruption.
- If the broadcast is interrupted: do not simply restart the same unverified recording. Resolve the rights issue first, then test the corrected feed and review Studio notices.
- If playback stops without a copyright notice: check the encoder’s feed and connection, confirm the event is still active in Live Control Room, and consult the encoder’s current recovery instructions. Exact restart controls vary by encoder.
