YouTube Live पात्रता
पहले YouTube channel की live-streaming eligibility जाँचें। पहली बार live enable करने में 24 घंटे तक लग सकते हैं; इसलिए server configure करते समय ही यह जाँच लें। YouTube Studio में stream बनाएँ या मौजूदा stream चुनें। YouTube पर live stream शुरू करने के निर्देश
सुरक्षा और नेटवर्क
- Stream key को password और address की तरह गोपनीय रखें। उसे सार्वजनिक screenshot, shell history या साझा config में न डालें। Key उजागर हो जाए तो Live Control Room में reset करके OBS में नई key लगाएँ। YouTube stream settings
- YouTube RTMPS की अनुशंसा करता है। यह TLS/SSL पर RTMP है और ingest connection को encrypt करता है। OBS में YouTube RTMPS preset चुनें; preset न मिले तो Live Control Room में दिया RTMPS server URL लें। YouTube encoder settings
- Server का outgoing bandwidth चुनी हुई कुल stream bitrate से अधिक होना चाहिए। YouTube लगभग 20% headroom रखने की सलाह देता है। YouTube की network सलाह
Vultr Ubuntu पर OBS स्थापित करें

- Vultr में Ubuntu instance बनाएं। ऊपर दिए संसाधन Vultr guide की prerequisite हैं; अपने workload के अनुसार योजना चुनें। SSH से non-root sudo user के रूप में जुड़ें।
- Package list और installed packages अपडेट करें:

sudo apt install ffmpeg obs-studio -y - Vultr guide के अनुसार desktop environment और remote desktop access configure करें। अपने चुने VNC Viewer या NoMachine से server के desktop session में जुड़ें और वहीं OBS खोलें। Desktop और remote-access के सटीक controls Ubuntu release तथा चुने गए software के अनुसार बदल सकते हैं; Vultr guide के चरणों का अनुसरण करें।
सामान्य Ubuntu मार्ग का मुख्य अंतर यह है कि OBS को चलाने और नियंत्रित करने के लिए GUI session चाहिए। इसे केवल SSH-आधारित unattended service न समझें।
OBS को YouTube Live से जोड़ें
- YouTube Studio के Live Control Room में अपनी stream खोलें और वहाँ से stream URL तथा stream key लें। पहली बार live enable करने वाले channel को activation पूरा होने तक प्रतीक्षा करनी पड़ सकती है।
- Remote desktop में OBS खोलें। OBS की Settings में Stream पेज पर YouTube service चुनें और YouTube से मिले stream URL तथा key भरें। यदि उपलब्ध हो तो RTMPS server/preset इस्तेमाल करें। Key को किसी के साथ साझा न करें।
- OBS में scene और sources जोड़ें। यदि prerecorded video loop करना है, Media Source में सही file चुनें और Loop चालू करें। Preview में तस्वीर, playback और audio ध्यान से जाँचें। सामान्य Ubuntu OBS के controls version के अनुसार बदल सकते हैं।
- Output और Video settings में अपने लक्ष्य resolution और frame rate के अनुरूप encoder चुनें। YouTube की वर्तमान bitrate तालिका को प्राथमिकता दें; पुराने या अलग workload के लिए लिखी गई किसी OBS setting को सार्वभौमिक न मानें।

24/7 से पहले test stream चलाएँ
- OBS से पहले unlisted test stream शुरू करें, ताकि सार्वजनिक दर्शकों के सामने जाने से पहले पूरा रास्ता जाँचा जा सके।
- Test में वही audio और video movement शामिल करें जो वास्तविक stream में होगा। Static image वाला test वास्तविक encoding load नहीं दिखा सकता।
- YouTube Live Control Room का preview देखें और stream health तथा दिख रहे संदेशों की निगरानी करें। YouTube कहता है: “Make sure to test before you start your live stream.” YouTube encoder settings
- Vultr instance का CPU usage और account bandwidth monitor करें। Vultr की Ubuntu guide 2+ vCPU पर 720p का सुझाव देती है; यह उसी guide की operational सलाह है, सार्वभौमिक benchmark नहीं। CPU बहुत ऊपर जाए तो resolution घटाएँ या instance upgrade पर विचार करें।

Vultr की Ubuntu guide कहती है कि CPU usage 90% से ऊपर जाने पर dropped frames या buffering की आशंका हो सकती है। यह उस guide का संकेतक है, हर scene और instance पर लागू सार्वभौमिक सीमा नहीं; अपने stream के दौरान वास्तविक load और health देखें।

24/7 संचालन की सीमाएँ और recovery
OBS को VPS पर चालू छोड़ना अपने-आप निरंतर uptime की गारंटी नहीं है। उपलब्ध Vultr Ubuntu guide यह स्थापित नहीं करती कि OBS reboot के बाद स्वतः शुरू होगा, desktop logout के बाद चलता रहेगा, या crash के बाद सही GUI session में systemd से फिर खुलेगा। इसीलिए बिना अपने Ubuntu release, display server, OBS package और session manager पर सत्यापन किए auto-recovery script को भरोसेमंद समाधान न मानें। यदि unattended reboot/crash recovery अनिवार्य है, तो पहले उसी deployment पर उसका परीक्षण करें।
24/7 संचालन में Live Control Room का stream health, Vultr CPU और bandwidth देखते रहें। खासकर bitrate, resolution या scene बदलने के बाद नया test करें; network बाधा stream तोड़ सकती है।

सामान्य समस्याएँ और समाधान
- YouTube पर stream शुरू नहीं होती: Channel live eligibility और पहली बार activation की स्थिति जाँचें। Stream URL तथा key Live Control Room से फिर मिलाएँ; key reset की गई हो तो OBS में नई key डालें।
- OBS में picture या audio नहीं है: चुने हुए scene/source और media file path की जाँच करें। Preview में picture और audio verify करें; loop चाहिए तो media source की Loop setting जाँचें।
- Dropped frames या buffering: YouTube Live Control Room में stream health देखें। Vultr CPU usage और bandwidth जाँचें; network के लिए कुल bitrate से लगभग 20% headroom रखें। Load अधिक हो तो resolution घटाकर test करें या instance upgrade पर विचार करें।
- Remote desktop बंद होने के बाद stream रुकती है: साधारण Ubuntu मार्ग से logout के بعد OBS चलने की गारंटी स्थापित नहीं है। अपने desktop session व्यवहार को test करें; इस setup को बिना सत्यापन unattended न मानें।
- Server reboot या OBS crash के बाद stream वापस नहीं आती: उपलब्ध Ubuntu guide reboot/crash auto-recovery recipe नहीं देती। जिस OS, display server और session manager पर काम कर रहे हैं, उसी पर recovery अलग से जाँचें; केवल systemd unit जोड़ना सही GUI session की गारंटी नहीं है।
- Stream key उजागर हो गई: YouTube Live Control Room में key reset करें और OBS में नई key update करें।
