Compare Hindi and Marathi 24/7 bhajan streams over the same dates, then report subscriber growth in three ways: net subscribers gained, net gains per 1,000 views, and net growth as a percentage of the starting subscriber count. Keep live-attributed gains separate from whole-channel gains whenever YouTube Studio provides that breakdown. These measures describe the selected channels and period; by themselves, they cannot show that language caused a difference.
Set up a fair comparison
Choose channels and define what counts as 24/7
Name the channels and explain how you selected them. Confirm that each stream ran continuously during the comparison window, or state which live sessions you sampled and how you handled interruptions. Do not treat a channel as continuously live based only on a brief public observation.
Record relevant differences that may affect results, including channel age, starting audience size, bhajan catalog, stream availability, promotion, upload cadence, and whether the channel also publishes Shorts, other videos, or community posts. These factors help readers interpret the comparison; they do not prove why one channel grew more.
Use matching dates and durations
Set one observation window for all channels and report its exact start and end dates and the time zone used. In YouTube Studio, open Analytics and use Advanced Mode to compare matching periods and export reports. YouTube describes channel analytics and comparison/export options in its Analytics overview.

For each channel, note whether the figures came from the channel owner’s YouTube Studio account or from public observations. Owner access matters: live-specific and content-type breakdowns may not be available to an outside observer. Collect the measures that answer different questions
Do not collapse scale, conversion, and audience delivery into one score. Record the following for the same period and label each item’s source and scope.

YouTube Studio reports channel subscribers, views, and watch time; its live reporting includes views, total watch time, average view duration, and peak concurrent viewers. Content analytics can also report subscribers by content type, live-stream discovery sources, and average concurrent viewers. Calculate and present subscriber growth
- Record starting and ending subscribers. Use the same date boundaries for every channel. Calculate net change from those values if the available figures support it; otherwise, state clearly that you are reporting gains only.
- Record views for the same channel and period. Use the same scope for each channel. If you have live-only views, do not compare them with another channel’s whole-channel views.
- Calculate the two rates. Divide net subscriber change by views and multiply by 1,000. Separately, divide net subscriber change by starting subscribers and multiply by 100. Label both as your calculations rather than official YouTube metrics.
- Show absolute change alongside both rates. A rate can make a small channel look impressive because its denominator is small; the raw number shows the scale of the change.
- Separate live results where possible. Use the owner’s content-type report to identify live-attributed gains. If you cannot isolate live, say that the figures describe the whole channel and may include Shorts, uploads, or other activity.
- Add delivery context. Report watch time, average view duration, average and peak concurrent viewers, and stream uptime when available. A peak is a momentary maximum, not proof that the audience was sustained or that viewers subscribed.
Account for view-definition and attribution limits
Mark the August 24, 2026 view-count change
YouTube’s content-performance documentation says that beginning August 24, 2026, a view is counted when playback starts across Shorts, long-form videos, and live streams. It also says this change does not affect YouTube Partner Program earnings or eligibility, which remain based on engaged or qualified measures. If your observation window crosses that date, flag the definition change and avoid treating view-based rates on either side as directly equivalent without qualification. Match traffic source and geography when available
If the channel owner can access the breakdowns, compare like traffic sources—such as browse, search, suggested videos, and channel pages—and like geographic dimensions. Geographic data may be limited. Different discovery mixes or audience locations can help explain context, but do not by themselves establish that Hindi or Marathi content caused a growth difference.
Do not infer a language-wide winner
A comparison of selected Hindi and Marathi channels supports conclusions about those channels and dates, not a general claim that one language’s bhajan streams grow faster. Channel scale, catalog, promotion, audience overlap, age, cadence, and uptime are all possible differences. No language-wide benchmark is established here.

Make the comparison easy to audit
Present a compact table with one row per channel and columns for observation dates, starting subscribers, ending subscribers, net change (or gains only), views, calculated net change per 1,000 views, calculated change relative to starting subscribers, live-attributed gains if available, watch time, average view duration, average and peak concurrent viewers, and uptime. Identify which figures come from owner-only Studio reports and which are public observations. Attach a note for missing or non-comparable fields rather than silently treating them as zero.
YouTube Analytics API documentation describes available channel-report metrics and dimensions, but the channel owner’s Studio data should be the basis for the actual comparison. The Analytics API metrics reference is useful for understanding reporting terminology, not a substitute for access to each channel’s data.
