You can broadcast recorded property tours as a YouTube Live feed by preparing rights-cleared Hindi video, enabling live streaming on your channel, and sending the recording through an encoder using YouTube’s stream URL and key. For a continuous schedule, plan for monitoring, stream restarts, and archiving: YouTube’s encoder workflow does not provide a dedicated prerecorded-video loop button or guarantee uninterrupted 24/7 operation.
1. Prepare the property-tour recordings
Start with a finished video or an ordered set of videos. Check that the Hindi narration is clear, captions are accurate if you use them, and on-screen details such as location, price, and property features are legible. If you are combining several tours, decide the sequence before configuring the stream.
Confirm that you have permission to broadcast the footage and any music, voice, images, and property information in it. YouTube’s technical streaming guidance does not establish filming or broadcast permission for a particular property, nor does it resolve local privacy or real-estate advertising obligations. Check those requirements with the relevant rights holders and authorities for your location.
2. Make sure the channel can go live
YouTube requires a verified channel with no live-streaming restrictions in the preceding 90 days. First-time live-streaming activation may take up to 24 hours, so enable it well before your intended start. If a restriction is active, YouTube says you cannot evade it by streaming from another channel while the restriction remains in effect. 3. Create the YouTube stream and connect an encoder
YouTube documents encoder-based live streaming with software running on a computer or a standalone hardware encoder. It does not document a general-purpose “loop prerecorded video” button, so choose an encoder that can play or loop your prepared file and assess its restart and monitoring behavior before relying on it for a long schedule.
- In YouTube Studio, open Live Control Room and create or schedule a stream. Choose the stream details and settings appropriate for the tour and audience.
- Copy the stream URL and stream key shown for the stream, then enter them in your encoder’s YouTube or custom-server settings. YouTube describes the key as the information that tells the encoder where to send the feed and lets YouTube accept it; treat it like a credential and do not share it publicly.
- Load the property-tour recording or playlist in the encoder and set it to play or loop as needed. Start sending the feed, then wait for the preview in Live Control Room.
- Check picture, Hindi audio, and playback order in the preview. When using a scheduled workflow, start the public broadcast in Live Control Room when the preview is ready and the interface calls for it.

4. Set video, audio, and network settings
YouTube recommends RTMPS, a TLS-encrypted extension of RTMP. Its general encoder guidance lists H.264, H.265 (HEVC), or AV1 video; AAC or MP3 audio; constant bitrate; frame rates up to 60 fps; and a two-second keyframe interval, which should not exceed four seconds. For a property-tour recording, select a resolution and frame rate the source and connection can sustain rather than upscaling the video. Details are in YouTube’s encoder settings, bitrate, and resolution guidance and RTMPS instructions.
Example: H.264 at 1080p30
YouTube’s current settings table lists 5 Mbps minimum and 14 Mbps recommended for H.264 at 1080p30. These are YouTube’s published ingest recommendations, not a guarantee of how viewers’ playback will look. Choose a bitrate based on your source and test the result before the scheduled broadcast.

Check upload bandwidth, not download speed
YouTube advises having upload bandwidth above the total stream bitrate and leaving about 20% headroom. Other devices and users on a shared network can reduce the capacity actually available to the encoder. Test the connection under realistic conditions, especially if the stream will run from a home or office connection. See YouTube’s streaming tips.
5. Test the Hindi feed and monitor it while live
- Test a representative section of the tour, including camera movement, transitions, narration, and any background music. A static opening frame alone may not expose motion or audio problems.
- Check that Hindi narration is audible and balanced against music, and that any captions match the spoken content.
- Inspect the Live Control Room preview and stream-health indicators before inviting viewers to watch.
- If the audience will use phones, test the watch page and mobile playback before the planned start.
- While live, monitor audio, video, and stream health. YouTube Help advises: “Continuously monitor streams for audio and video quality.”
6. Plan continuity and archives
A long-running schedule needs an operational plan, not just a looping file. Decide who will notice a failed feed, how the encoder will be restarted, and where a separate master or local recording will be kept. If recording locally, confirm that the archive file exists and continues to grow while the stream runs; YouTube’s streaming tips recommend checking local archive files.

YouTube says streams under 12 hours are automatically archived. Its encoder guidance does not promise automatic archiving for a stream longer than 12 hours, and the reviewed guidance does not guarantee uninterrupted 24/7 operation. No preview appears
Confirm that the encoder is running, the stream URL and key match the stream created in Live Control Room, and the channel is eligible to stream. Keep the key private; if you believe it has been exposed, replace it in YouTube’s stream settings and update the encoder.

Video stutters or drops frames
Check actual upload capacity and competing network use, then lower the encoder bitrate or resolution if the connection cannot sustain the selected settings. Preserve the recommended headroom rather than setting bitrate equal to the connection’s best-case upload speed.
Audio is missing or difficult to understand
Check that the encoder is sending an audio track using a supported format such as AAC or MP3, then review levels and synchronization in the preview. Test a section with narration and music instead of assuming settings that worked for another file will work for this one.
The feed stops during a long schedule
Check the encoder, network, and YouTube stream-health status, then restart the feed according to your continuity plan. Do not assume a single stream will remain live or be archived indefinitely; schedule checks and stream boundaries.
