YouTube does not promise uninterrupted 24/7 operation or prescribe a computer setup that guarantees it, so test your playback, connection, power and recovery plan before relying on the stream. Monetization is a separate decision: looping stories does not by itself qualify a channel for the YouTube Partner Program (YPP), and repetitive or reused programming can fail its channel review.
Choose how the stream will run
There are two practical approaches for a pre-produced animated program. With a do-it-yourself encoder setup, a computer plays the program and sends it to YouTube; the computer, power and internet connection must remain available. With a cloud service, you upload the videos and the service sends the stream, so your home computer does not need to stay on. Neither approach changes YouTube’s copyright, audience-setting or monetization policies.
- Encoder on your own equipment: gives you control over playback and the live output, but you are responsible for continuous operation and recovery.
- Cloud playback: avoids keeping a computer running at home, but depends on the service and your YouTube stream configuration.
This guide covers the encoder method first, then a cloud option for creators who would rather not operate a computer continuously.
Prepare the channel and story program
Confirm that the channel can go live
YouTube’s listed live-stream prerequisites are channel verification, no live-stream restriction in the preceding 90 days, and a streamer who is at least 16 years old. YouTube offers an encoder workflow for produced broadcasts, including programs with overlays and hardware inputs. Check the channel’s current live access in YouTube Studio before planning a launch.

Make the program original and rights-cleared
Write and produce the stories so the channel’s creative contribution is clear. Keep scripts, original animation project files, voice recordings and music or asset licenses organized. Use only material whose rights cover livestreaming and any other planned use. YouTube scans live broadcasts for third-party matches; a stream may be interrupted or terminated. If you have permission to use third-party material, ask the rights owner to add your channel to the Content ID allowlist where applicable. Permission alone does not guarantee that reused material will satisfy YPP monetization review.
Decide whether the content is made for kids
Set the audience designation accurately in YouTube Studio, at the channel or video level as appropriate. Creators must make this selection regardless of where they live. Hindi narration, animation or a moral-story theme alone does not determine the answer: consider the intended audience and the actual episodes, including their language, characters and presentation. Check the current feature restrictions for the chosen designation before building plans around chat, engagement or revenue.

Set up a do-it-yourself encoder stream
- Prepare a continuous program. Assemble the episodes in the order you want viewers to see them, and check the transitions, picture and audio from beginning to end. Make sure you have the rights to every story, image, animation, voice recording and music track in the program.
- Choose the presentation format. A horizontal 16:9 layout is a straightforward fit for full-screen animation. YouTube’s Live Control Room can also create horizontal and vertical 9:16 versions concurrently. Vertical viewing can place the stream in the Shorts feed, but format-specific features differ. If you use both formats, compose artwork and on-screen text so they remain readable and safely framed in each layout; check the current Live Control Room details before relying on a particular discovery or monetization feature.
- Use an encoder-capable computer and playback setup. The computer must be able to play your rendered animation and encode the output you choose. YouTube’s cited guidance does not establish minimum computer specifications, internet speed, resolution, bitrate, keyframe interval or a hardware model for a 24/7 broadcast. Choose settings supported by your encoder and current YouTube setup, then test the actual configuration rather than treating a generic specification as a guarantee.
- Connect through YouTube Live Control Room. Create or schedule the live stream in YouTube Studio’s Live Control Room, select the encoder workflow and enter the stream details in your encoder. Use the stream key associated with the event or stream you intend to run. Keep the key private: anyone who obtains it could send a broadcast to your channel. If it is exposed, replace or reset it in YouTube Studio and update the encoder.
- Test before announcing the stream. Run a private or unlisted test as appropriate. Confirm that the encoder connects, the image and Hindi audio are clear, levels are balanced, episode changes work, and the output remains stable. Check the Live Control Room for warnings. Do not assume that a short successful test proves that the same setup will remain stable indefinitely.
- Plan for interruptions. Decide who will monitor the stream, how the encoder will be restarted after a software or power failure, and what you will do if the home connection fails. For continuous operation, account for heat, noise and electricity use as well as backup power and connection options. These are design considerations, not YouTube-prescribed minimums.
- Start the broadcast and monitor it. Start the encoder output and verify that YouTube is receiving the intended program. Keep access to the Live Control Room available so you can respond to copyright warnings, connection problems or other interruptions.
Plan horizontal and vertical versions carefully

YouTube describes a shared stream URL and chat for concurrent horizontal and vertical versions. Test both views on a phone and a larger screen before making the format part of the program plan.
Understand the limits of a 24/7 broadcast
YouTube’s help guidance lists a maximum of 10 active streams per channel and 3 active streams per stream key. These are simultaneous-stream limits, not a promise that one broadcast can run continuously for a particular duration. The guidance does not specify a maximum continuous runtime or an equipment recipe that guarantees uptime.

For a self-operated stream, choose the computer, encoder, connection and power arrangements for your output and budget, and test recovery from likely failures. A long-running stream can still be interrupted by a local outage, encoder failure or YouTube action. Monitor the Live Control Room and have a restart procedure rather than treating “24/7” as a platform guarantee.
Can a looping Hindi stories stream earn YPP monetization?
Possibly, but streaming continuously or accumulating views does not automatically make a channel eligible or accepted. YouTube’s listed full YPP thresholds are 1,000 subscribers plus 4,000 qualified public watch hours in the preceding 12 months, or 1,000 subscribers plus 10 million qualified Shorts views in the preceding 90 days. Other account and channel requirements apply, and availability in a participating country or region is required.

For the 4,000-hour route, YouTube excludes livestream watch hours from streams that are unlisted, deleted or not saved as VODs. Preserve qualifying streams as public VODs if you are relying on their hours, and check the current Earn tab for eligibility. Meeting a threshold does not guarantee acceptance: YouTube reviews the channel against its monetization policies. Its policies expect original, authentic work; mass-produced, generic, repetitive or reused programming can affect monetization across the channel.
For a channel based in India, confirm the current India-specific AdSense for YouTube payment setup in Studio before forecasting revenue. The eligibility information establishes general country-or-region participation requirements, not every India-specific payment, tax or banking detail.
