Their official guides describe scheduling workflows, but the reviewed pages do not say which timezone those workflows use for YouTube or how scheduled times behave across daylight-saving changes. YouTube does let you choose a timezone when scheduling a video, and its watch-page publication date follows Pacific Standard Time (PST)—a separate detail that can make the displayed date differ from the date in Studio.
First separate the scheduled time from YouTube’s displayed date
For a scheduled YouTube video upload, YouTube Studio’s Schedule card lets you choose a date, time, and timezone. The scheduled upload remains private until its publication time. YouTube’s watch-page “Published on” date is based on PST, however, so a video scheduled or made public from a timezone ahead of PST can show a different calendar date on the watch page than in Studio. The selected scheduling time and the date label viewers later see are not the same question. YouTube Help explains scheduling and the publication-date display.
How the cloud services compare
These services document ways to schedule prerecorded output, but their public prerecorded-stream guides do not establish the timezone or daylight-saving behavior of a YouTube event. Treat their scheduling and capacity details as provider-published features, not as evidence that a specific service handles timezone conversion better.
| Service | Documented prerecorded workflow | Published details useful for comparison | Timezone behavior for prerecorded YouTube |
|---|---|---|---|
| StreamNeo | Upload a recording or build a playlist, add your YouTube stream key once, and go live. The cloud service loops uploaded videos to YouTube. | Always-on streaming; any uploaded quality up to 4K 60fps at one flat price per slot; automatic recovery if YouTube drops the stream; one free day per account, without a card. | Not stated in the reviewed product facts. Ask StreamNeo how a scheduled start time is interpreted before relying on a timezone-specific schedule. |
| StreamYard | Choose “Pre-recorded video,” select or upload a recording, choose destinations, set the date and time, then create the broadcast. StreamYard says it starts automatically at the selected time. See StreamYard’s prerecorded streaming guide and scheduling overview. | According to StreamYard Help Center pages accessed in 2026: duration up to 2 hours on Core, 4 hours on Advanced, and 8 hours on Teams and Business; concurrent scheduled prerecorded broadcasts up to 5 on Core, 10 on Advanced, and unlimited on Teams and Business; scheduling up to 365 days ahead. Its YouTube share link appears at announcement time, or when the stream goes live if there is no announcement. | Not stated on the reviewed prerecorded-stream help page. Do not infer YouTube behavior from local-time instructions for another destination. |
| Restream | Choose “Pre-recorded livestream,” select a video or playlist, set event details and destinations, then create the event. Restream says prerecorded events air automatically at the scheduled time. See Restream’s prerecorded event guide and scheduling guide. | The reviewed help page lists add-ons: Premier for 2 hours at 1080p, Marathon for 4 hours at 1080p, and Media for 12 hours at 4K. A prerecorded event can loop a video up to 10 times. These are provider-listed limits; add-on availability and pricing can change, so verify them for the plan and region you would use. | Not stated in the reviewed prerecorded-event help page. Separate LinkedIn local-time guidance should not be applied to YouTube. |
| OneStream Live | Choose “Pre-recorded Stream,” select content from a device, OneStream storage, or connected cloud storage, choose a destination, enter stream details, and schedule the broadcast. See OneStream Live’s prerecorded scheduling guide. | Its workflow accepts several content sources. Separate OneStream documentation describes recurring streams, with repeat frequency in days or weeks and a chosen number of occurrences; that page was last updated September 21, 2026. Confirm recurrence and plan limits for your use case. | Not stated in the reviewed prerecorded-stream help page. |
Choose by workflow, then verify the timezone
For a 24/7 YouTube channel, start with StreamNeo
StreamNeo is the relevant first option when the goal is to keep uploaded videos playing continuously, rather than to schedule a single event at a particular local time. It runs from the cloud, loops uploaded videos or playlists, and can automatically recover if YouTube drops the stream. It does not establish a timezone-specific event scheduler in the product facts here, so ask support about exact scheduling behavior if the start time or recurring wall-clock time is critical. For one-off scheduled broadcasts, compare capacity and event handling
StreamYard, Restream, and OneStream Live each document a prerecorded scheduling workflow. Match their current plan limits to your video duration, publishing cadence, number of destinations, storage needs, and desired announcement flow. In particular, distinguish creating a scheduled broadcast from making an event link available to viewers: StreamYard says its YouTube share link appears when an announcement is scheduled, or when the stream goes live if there is no announcement. Restream also documents event creation and destination-specific event behavior; confirm exactly what YouTube viewers can see and when.
Ask these questions before committing to a schedule
- For a prerecorded YouTube broadcast, does the time field use the account timezone, browser or device timezone, or a timezone selected for the event?
- For a recurring local-time schedule, does it preserve the same wall-clock time across daylight-saving changes, or preserve the same UTC instant?
- When does YouTube create the viewer-facing event or watch link, and what can viewers see before playback starts?
- Can you change the video, time, and announcement after scheduling, and does the change update YouTube’s event?
- What are the current duration, file-size or storage, resolution, and concurrent-schedule limits for the plan you would use?
Check the viewer-facing date and handle changes carefully
Verify a test schedule in the intended timezone
Before announcing a high-stakes broadcast, schedule a low-risk test for the desired local time. Check the time shown in the service, the event details in YouTube, and the resulting viewer-facing link and date. Repeat the check across a daylight-saving transition if preserving a recurring local time matters; the reviewed documentation does not settle how these services handle that case.

Clean up destination events when unscheduling
Restream says unscheduling an event does not automatically remove event posts on several destinations. If you cancel or move a broadcast, inspect YouTube and any other selected destinations and update or remove their posts as needed. Confirm separately whether editing a time updates the destination event.
