StreamNeo is the best place to start if your priority is keeping an uploaded playlist on YouTube 24/7 from the cloud, but the available product details do not establish live playlist editing. YTStream and Gyre also describe cloud-based continuous streams, without confirming that playlist changes take effect during an active broadcast. These are comparisons of published features, not hands-on test results.
Best options at a glance
Choose based on the task you need to perform, not just the phrase “24/7.” Live playlist editing, looping, scheduled starts, playlist progress, recovery, resolution limits, and price are separate considerations.
| Service | What its published information supports | Remote playlist edits during an active stream | Best fit |

| StreamNeo | Cloud-based, always-on YouTube streaming from uploaded videos or playlists; automatic recovery if YouTube drops the stream. | Not established by the available product details. | Start here if you want a straightforward YouTube-only cloud loop, any uploaded quality up to 4K 60fps at one flat price per slot, and a free first day. |

| Gyre | Upload videos to cloud storage, arrange a looping playlist, connect a YouTube account, and set a 24/7 stream schedule. | Not established by the reviewed product page. | People looking for a cloud-based continuous stream and schedule. |
| StreamYard | Its help page documents scheduled prerecorded streams up to eight hours, depending on plan, alongside live studio and multistreaming features. | Not established for an unattended 24/7 playlist. | Finite scheduled prerecorded broadcasts or hosted studio programs, rather than an equivalent always-on playlist service. |
Features above are vendor-described; they do not independently establish reliability, audience growth, or monetization results. LiveReacting also publishes a comparison of streaming approaches, but because it is vendor-authored, treat comparative claims there as promotional rather than independent verification.
1. StreamNeo: an always-on YouTube loop from the cloud
StreamNeo keeps a YouTube channel live from uploaded videos. Upload a recording or build a playlist, add your YouTube stream key once, and go live; the stream runs from the cloud, so your computer, OBS, and home internet connection do not need to stay on. Its strongest fit is an operator who wants the ongoing stream handled remotely. The available details do not say that you can reorder or replace playlist items without interrupting a live broadcast, so if that capability is essential, verify it before choosing.

2. LiveReacting: clearest documented live playlist editing
LiveReacting is the most direct match when the defining requirement is changing a playlist without ending the stream. Its product page says an operator can swap videos, reorder the playlist, and change music, scenes, and overlays while the broadcast stays on air. It also describes streams that run until stopped or follow a schedule, with daily, weekly, or custom-gap reruns. For prerecorded content, the vendor says files can be brought in from a computer, phone, or cloud storage and converted by its servers into a live stream.

Outbyte Driver Updater FREEFix the driver behind crashes, sound loss and screen glitchesFind Drivers →Outbyte PC Repair FREEClear out junk files and repair common Windows errorsFree Scan →Scheduling and playlist progress
Its scheduling page describes one-off streams on selected dates, recurring runs, and an option to continue from the prior playlist position. Looping a playlist and scheduling it are distinct: check that the service’s scheduling controls match whether you need a continuous loop, a start on particular dates, a recurring rerun, or resumption from the previous position.
LiveReacting displays “3M+” streams published, with its database figure dated September 11, 2026, and “99.998%” uptime on a page accessed October 3, 2026. These are vendor-published figures; the reviewed information does not establish an independent audit, uptime measurement period, or methodology. Do not treat the uptime figure as a guarantee.

3. YTStream: cloud playlists with resolution-based pricing
YTStream describes a workflow of uploading prerecorded videos, arranging them into a playlist with loop counts and transitions, connecting a YouTube stream key, and starting a 24/7 broadcast. The provider says its servers run the stream and advertises automatic restart after failure on paid tiers. Its reviewed product page does not say whether playlist order can be changed while a broadcast is in progress.
The vendor-listed prices at the time the page was accessed on October 3, 2026, were per stream per month:

4. Gyre: cloud storage, looping, and scheduling
Gyre describes uploading video to cloud storage, converting it for streaming, arranging a looping playlist, connecting a YouTube account, and setting a 24/7 stream schedule. That supports it as a cloud continuous-streaming option. The reviewed product information does not establish whether playlist edits apply without stopping the live broadcast. Check current tier boundaries and confirm that its schedule, storage, and edit workflow suit your channel before committing.
Independent reader supportYour contribution helps us test, update, and keep practical guides available for everyone. When StreamYard or a local OBS setup makes more sense
StreamYard for finite scheduled broadcasts
StreamYard’s help information documents scheduled prerecorded streams up to eight hours, depending on plan, as well as studio and multistreaming features. The cited material does not establish an unattended 24/7 playlist with remote rearrangement, so it is a different fit from services built around continuous looping.
OBS on your own computer
A local OBS setup gives a technically capable operator control over a self-hosted stream, but the operating computer and local setup remain dependencies. A vendor-authored comparison says playlist updates require stopping the stream; that statement is not independent testing. If you need to make playlist changes remotely while the broadcast remains live, ask the provider to demonstrate the exact edit workflow rather than assuming a local setup or a cloud service supports it.

How to choose for remote playlist control
- Decide whether an edit can interrupt the broadcast. If it cannot, LiveReacting is the only service in this comparison whose reviewed page expressly describes swapping videos and reordering while on air. For StreamNeo, YTStream, or Gyre, confirm live-edit behavior directly rather than treating looping as proof of editing.
- Separate looping from scheduling. Determine whether you need a continuous repeat, a one-off date list, recurring starts, or continuation from the prior playlist position. LiveReacting documents all but only some of these controls across its product and scheduling pages; YTStream and Gyre describe looping or schedules.
- Check the operational dependencies. Cloud streaming can remove the creator’s home computer and connection from the stream path, according to the services’ descriptions. Ask about recovery, support, and how you will know a stream has stopped; vendor descriptions are not service-level guarantees.
- Compare output, storage, and cost structure. Confirm resolution, upload and storage allowances, per-stream versus per-slot billing, and whether the tier changes the available features. YTStream lists resolution-based rates; StreamNeo charges one flat price per slot regardless of uploaded quality up to 4K 60fps.
- Verify the destination and import path. Check whether the service supports the YouTube channel, stream key or account connection, and source-file location you intend to use. Do not infer integrations from another service’s workflow.
- Ask for a workflow demonstration when a feature is decisive. Specifically test what happens to the current video, viewer-facing stream, schedule, and playlist progress when you edit a running playlist.
No reviewed evidence establishes that a 24/7 broadcast will increase recommendations, views, watch hours, or revenue. Choose the setup for the operational outcome you can verify, not an assumed algorithmic benefit.
Prepare YouTube and protect the content
Enable live streaming ahead of time
Google’s Live Streaming Guide recommends managing streams in YouTube Studio, where current, upcoming, and past live streams are available. It also advises enabling live streaming at least 24 hours in advance and verifying the account. LiveReacting likewise says first-time YouTube activation can take up to 24 hours. Check that the channel is eligible and has no active restrictions before scheduling a test.
Use material you have rights to broadcast
Use video, music, and visuals that you own or are licensed to stream. Public availability on YouTube does not grant rebroadcast rights. A continuous stream does not bypass copyright rules or establish eligibility for monetization; platform decisions can depend on the content and account.
Keep your source files
LiveReacting cautions that YouTube may not save streams longer than 12 hours. Treat this as a vendor’s operational warning, not a universal archive rule; check current YouTube guidance for your channel and keep the original media independently rather than relying on a platform archive as your only copy.
Common decision pitfalls
- Assuming every playlist can be edited live: published looping support does not prove that you can reorder or replace items during an active stream.
- Treating vendor uptime as a promise: a displayed statistic is not a service-level commitment unless the provider’s terms say so.
- Assuming 24/7 means infinite archives or uninterrupted delivery: archive behavior, recovery, and reliability need separate verification.
- Choosing on audience-growth claims: the reviewed capability information does not validate an increase in discovery, views, or revenue.
- Forgetting channel readiness and rights: enable live streaming in advance and clear rights for every part of the playlist before going live.
Or let it run in the cloud
With StreamNeo, upload a recording or build a playlist, add your YouTube stream key, and go live. Nothing has to stay on at home: the stream runs from the cloud. It plays your uploads as made up to 4K 60fps for one price per slot, with automatic recovery if YouTube drops the stream. The first day is free with no card. Monthly pricing is $9.99 per month. The available product details do not establish live rearrangement of a running playlist, so choose it for cloud-based continuous playback rather than an unverified live-edit requirement. Start your free first day with StreamNeo.
