There is no single monthly cost: it depends on the PC’s average power draw and your electricity rate. In a 2026 CNX Software test, one Beelink EQi setup playing a 4K, 60 fps YouTube video in Firefox drew 13.4–15.3 watts at the wall. At that steady draw for a 30-day month, it would use about 9.65–11.02 kWh. Multiply that energy use by your all-in electricity price per kWh to estimate the charge.
Estimate the monthly electricity cost
Use this formula:
Monthly kWh = average watts × hours per day × days ÷ 1,000
For continuous operation over 30 days, that is 720 hours. Applying the EQi test’s measured range:
- 13.4 W × 720 ÷ 1,000 = 9.648 kWh, or about 9.65 kWh.
- 15.3 W × 720 ÷ 1,000 = 11.016 kWh, or about 11.02 kWh.
Then calculate: monthly electricity charge = monthly kWh × your all-in price per kWh. If your bill quotes another unit, convert the rate to a per-kWh figure first. For example, at a hypothetical rate of $0.15/kWh, 9.65–11.02 kWh would cost about $1.45–$1.65 for 30 days. That is an arithmetic illustration, not a current national rate or a claim about your tariff.

What the Beelink EQi measurement covers
CNX Software’s July 12, 2026 review reports a wall-meter reading of 13.4–15.3 W while a Beelink EQi played YouTube video in Firefox at 4K and 60 fps. The test setup included Wi-Fi, a wireless keyboard-and-mouse receiver, and a Crowview portable monitor connected over HDMI. Treat the result as consumption for that tested setup, not as a standalone measurement of the mini PC alone.
The review did not measure a full month of continuous looping. The 9.65–11.02 kWh estimate is calculated from the playback range under the assumption that draw stays steady for 720 hours. Your result may differ with the exact model and configuration, resolution, browser or playback app, attached screen and peripherals, and actual workload.

The same review reported idle readings of 5.7–6.2 W on Wi-Fi and 6.0–6.4 W with 2.5GbE. Those are idle figures, not a substitute for playback draw; using them to estimate video playback would undercount the tested workload. Read the CNX Software Beelink EQi review.
Measure your own setup for a better estimate
- Connect the equipment you actually plan to use, including the mini PC, display, and any peripherals, through a plug-in electricity usage meter.
- Play the kind of video at the resolution and frame rate you expect to use. Let it run long enough to represent ordinary playback rather than relying on a brief startup reading.
- Use the meter’s average watts in the formula above, or use its accumulated kWh for a measured interval and scale it to your expected monthly hours.
- Multiply the resulting kWh by your own all-in electricity rate per kWh.
CNX Software used a wall meter, but the review does not recommend a particular meter model. Measuring the equipment together also avoids mistakenly assigning the display’s consumption to the PC alone.

Resolution and playback power are separate questions
YouTube’s video troubleshooting guidance recommends adjusting playback quality when video or network conditions call for it and lists approximate sustained connection speeds by resolution. Those bandwidth figures describe network context, not electricity consumption: they do not tell you how many watts your Beelink setup will draw. See YouTube’s video playback troubleshooting guidance.
What Beelink’s EQ14 specifications can—and cannot—tell you
Beelink’s EU product page describes the EQ14 as an Intel Twin Lake N150 system for light office work and multimedia playback. It does not publish a measured wall draw for YouTube playback. An adapter rating or processor specification is not a replacement for a wall measurement, so the EQi result should not be presented as the EQ14’s consumption. See Beelink’s EQ14 product page.
