You can broadcast prerecorded Quran recitations on YouTube Live around the clock by connecting an encoder to a YouTube stream. First confirm your channel can livestream and that you have rebroadcast rights for every recording. Then create a stream in YouTube Studio, connect an encoder with the stream URL and key, preview the feed, and start it. A continuous 24/7 broadcast needs a plan for keeping the encoder running and handling restarts: YouTube says streams under 12 hours are automatically archived, but does not promise the same archive behavior for a session lasting 24 hours or more.
Before you start: check eligibility and rights
Confirm the channel can livestream
YouTube’s live-stream eligibility guidance requires a verified channel with no live-streaming restrictions in the previous 90 days, and says livestreamers must be at least 16 years old. Check the current requirements in YouTube’s live-streaming eligibility guidance before scheduling. These rules are platform-wide; YouTube does not publish a separate eligibility process for Quran recitations.
Clear the recordings for rebroadcast
Only use recordings for which you have the rights needed to broadcast on YouTube. A recording’s religious content, availability online, or attribution to a reciter does not by itself grant permission to rebroadcast it. YouTube’s livestream terms place responsibility on the broadcaster to have the necessary rights for the live content on Google services worldwide, including applicable music and other rights: YouTube’s livestream terms.
YouTube scans live streams for third-party matches. If it detects a match, it may replace the live image with a placeholder, warn you, and interrupt or terminate the stream if the content remains. If you have a licence, ask the rights holder whether your channel must be added to its Content ID allowlist to avoid interruptions. Details are in YouTube’s live-stream copyright guidance.

- Compact & Travel-Friendly: The ultra-compact design allows the adapter to stay plugged into your device without blocking adjacent ports or adding bulk, reducing wear and tear on your original USB ports.
- 12-Month Warranty: Backed by a 12-month manufacturer warranty for peace of mind. Designed to meet strict quality control standards for reliable everyday performance.
Choose how to keep the stream running
YouTube supports software encoders running on a computer and standalone hardware encoders. Its encoder guidance also lists Gyre as a cloud-based option for 24/7 streaming of prerecorded video. These are implementation choices, not a YouTube requirement to buy particular hardware; YouTube does not publish comparative reliability tests or a pricing comparison for them. See YouTube’s encoder setup guidance.
- Local software encoder: The computer and encoder are under your control, but you must keep them running and manage internet access, power, and recovery.
- Standalone hardware encoder: A dedicated device can run the encoding workflow without a general-purpose computer, but you still manage the device and its connection. No specific model is required or endorsed here.
- Cloud service: The stream is run on a provider’s infrastructure rather than your home computer. Check its current features, terms, and costs before choosing. YouTube’s listing of Gyre is not an endorsement.
Create a YouTube Live stream and connect the encoder
- Open Live Control Room. In YouTube Studio, select Create → Go Live. For a new stream, use the Stream tab; to schedule ahead, open Manage and schedule a stream. Scheduling provides a watch-page URL you can share in advance.
- Copy the connection details. In the stream’s settings, copy the YouTube server URL and stream key into the encoder’s streaming settings. The exact encoder controls differ by software or device; use the fields labeled for the streaming server or URL and stream key.
- Protect the stream key. Treat it like a password: anyone who has it may be able to send video to your stream. Do not post or share it. If it is exposed, reset it in YouTube Studio and update the encoder with the new key. YouTube explains stream settings in its stream settings guide.
- Load the prerecorded material. Configure the encoder or cloud service to play the recitation video or playlist as its source. Confirm the intended sequence, that playback loops as expected, and that audio is present in the encoder preview.
- Start the encoder and inspect the preview. Start sending the feed, then check the preview in Live Control Room before making the event public or starting the broadcast. Confirm picture, audio, and the correct stream destination.
- Start and monitor the broadcast. Follow the Live Control Room prompts to go live. YouTube recommends testing failover, checking that the event is accessible, and monitoring audio and video continuously. Its operational advice is at YouTube’s live-streaming tips.
Plan for 24/7 operation, restarts, and archives
A 24/7 stream is not simply a longer upload: the encoder must continue sending a live feed, and a failure or restart can interrupt it. Decide who or what will detect a stopped feed and restart it, and test the recovery process before relying on the broadcast. YouTube’s encoder guidance says streams under 12 hours are automatically archived. It does not promise an archive for a stream lasting 24 hours or longer, so do not treat one uninterrupted day-long session as a guaranteed saved recording. If you need a copy, keep an independent source recording and plan how you will manage live-session restarts and archives.

Understand monetization limits
Permission to rebroadcast a recitation does not guarantee that a channel will qualify for monetization. YouTube’s monetization policy applies to live streams and says reused content without significant original commentary, substantive modification, or educational or entertainment value can make a channel ineligible. Reviewers assess the channel as a whole, and reused-content review is separate from copyright permission. Check YouTube’s channel monetization policies rather than assuming a continuous stream will earn revenue.
