At their published entry paid prices, OneStream Live is cheaper: its Basic plan is listed at $15/month in OneStream Live’s June 2026 comparison, while StreamYard Core is listed at $44.99/month on StreamYard’s pricing page. But these are not equivalent plans, and the reviewed public information does not establish either service’s final INR checkout total. Compare the features you need and check the same billing interval at checkout before paying.
StreamYard vs OneStream Live: which is cheaper?
On the available published figures, OneStream Live’s entry paid plan costs less per month. The $15/month OneStream figure comes from OneStream Live’s own comparison article, so treat it as a vendor-published comparison rather than an independent price survey. StreamYard’s pricing page lists Core at $44.99/month when billed monthly, or $35.99/month when billed yearly.
Those figures do not make Basic and Core a like-for-like comparison: OneStream Basic lists 720p output, while StreamYard Core lists 1080p. Their destination limits and included features also differ. Prices and offers can change; check the current plan pages and the amount shown in your account checkout.

What Indian creators should compare beyond the price
Streaming resolution
If the stream’s output resolution matters to your audience or production, the entry plans differ: Core lists 1080p and Basic lists 720p. Do not treat the lower Basic price as a saving on an identical feature set. Compare the resolution you actually need against the plan that provides it.
Destinations
Core lists three destinations; OneStream Basic lists five. StreamYard’s paid Core and Advanced plans list three and eight destinations respectively. OneStream Live’s pricing page lists 5 destinations on Basic, 10 on Standard, 30 on Professional and 50 on Enterprise; its product page advertises more than 45 social and web destinations. If you intend to stream to several platforms at once, verify that the platforms you use are supported and that your selected tier has enough destinations. See StreamYard’s multistream support information.

Recording, storage and team workflow
StreamYard Core lists unlimited local recordings and 50 hours of permanent storage. OneStream Basic lists 5 GB of storage and one team seat; Standard lists 20 GB and four seats. These are different kinds of limits, so consider whether you need local recordings, cloud storage, multiple collaborators or scheduled events rather than comparing only the plan names.
Free plans
Both services have a free option, but the limits differ. A creator who only needs basic YouTube streaming may be able to start without a paid plan. Check the branding, recording, resolution and destination limits against your specific workflow before subscribing.

What does each service charge in India?
StreamYard’s pricing FAQ says: “What currency can I pay with? USD or Indian Rupees only”. Its public pricing text reviewed here does not show an INR amount for each plan. OneStream Live’s India purchase instructions tell customers to select UPI, but do not state the final rupee total. See OneStream Live’s India payment instructions.
The available public information therefore does not establish which service has the lower final INR charge after any currency conversion or applicable tax. Compare the same billing interval and plan needs in each account’s checkout, and use the displayed total before paying; do not infer an India-specific rupee saving from the published dollar figures.

Which one should you choose?
- Consider OneStream Live Basic if its listed 720p output and feature limits fit your needs and the lower vendor-published entry price is your priority.
- Consider StreamYard Core if you need its listed 1080p output, three destinations, unlimited local recordings or other Core features, and the checkout total works for you.
- Compare the free tiers first if you only need basic streaming and can accept their respective limits.
- For a higher tier, compare features one by one: resolution, destination count, storage, seats and workflow. “Mid-tier” does not mean the plans include the same things.
There is no definitive India-specific winner on final price from the public figures reviewed: OneStream Live is lower at the published entry price, but exact INR checkout totals are not established. Review the current pricing pages and your own checkout before deciding.
For a different need: keep a YouTube channel live 24/7
StreamYard and OneStream Live are being compared here as creator streaming services; this is not a like-for-like comparison with a cloud service for continuously looping uploaded video. If your goal is a 24/7 YouTube stream from pre-recorded videos, StreamNeo is an alternative to try first: it loops uploaded videos from the cloud, at any uploaded quality up to 4K 60fps for one flat price per slot, and the first day is free.
