Streamlabs Pro for Viewers costs $5.99 per month and is most likely worth considering if you regularly tip through Streamlabs, value having custom GIF-and-effect alerts appear prominently, or shop at Streamlabs Merch stores. It is not Streamlabs Ultra, and you do not need it to use Streamlabs’ free streaming tools or to tip creators. One important catch: the alert features only work when the creator has Pro features enabled, is live, and has Alert Box added to their stream.
What Streamlabs Pro is—and what it is not
Streamlabs calls this membership Pro for Viewers. It is a viewer-side subscription for people who tip through eligible Streamlabs tip pages and want extra control over how their tips appear. It is separate from Streamlabs Ultra, which Streamlabs describes as a premium bundle across its products. Streamlabs also says its free tools include streaming and recording features such as widgets, overlays, alerts, a tip page, and Cloudbot moderation. A viewer does not need Pro simply to use those tools or to tip a creator. Streamlabs’ FAQ explains the distinction.
Pro for Viewers applies to tips and Streamlabs Merch stores. It does not change how much of a tip the creator receives: Streamlabs says it takes no cut, though third-party payment-processing fees may still be deducted.
Streamlabs Pro features
Custom GIF and effect tip alerts
When you tip through an eligible Streamlabs tip page, Pro lets you use a personalized GIF and effect with your alert. This is a way to make a tip more noticeable or tailored to your style, but it is not guaranteed to show on every tip. The creator you are tipping must have Pro features enabled, be live, and have Alert Box added to the stream. If any of those conditions is missing, the alert benefit may not appear.

Priority in the alert queue
Streamlabs says Pro alerts jump to the top of the queue and play ahead of other alerts. That makes queue priority relevant if your main reason for subscribing is to have your tip alert shown promptly while the creator is live. It still depends on the creator’s setup and the stream being live.
Discount at Streamlabs Merch stores
Streamlabs says Pro members receive 10% off purchases at Streamlabs Merch stores. Streamlabs says it covers this discount so the creator’s profit is not affected. The value to you depends on whether you buy eligible merchandise and use the discount; Streamlabs does not publish a typical member spending figure.

Streamlabs Pro pricing and signup
Streamlabs Support lists Pro for Viewers at $5.99 per month. This is a recurring monthly membership, not a one-time fee. Streamlabs says the tip amount is shown separately from the Pro subscription at checkout, so check both amounts before confirming. The current product page describes starting the membership when you enable Pro GIFs or effects on an eligible creator’s tip page and confirm the monthly charge.
If the Pro options are not shown on a creator’s tip page, that creator may not have Pro features enabled; you may need to use another eligible tip page to sign up. See the current Streamlabs Pro Support article for the live signup details and terms, which can change.

Is Streamlabs Pro worth it?
There is no universal break-even point established by Streamlabs’ published material. Decide based on your own expected use, rather than assuming the discount will repay the subscription or that every tip will trigger a Pro alert.
| Your situation | How it affects the decision |
|---|---|
| You tip through Streamlabs regularly and value custom GIFs, effects, and priority | Pro may be worthwhile if the creators you support meet the live, Pro-enabled, and Alert Box conditions often enough for you to enjoy the features. |
| You already shop at Streamlabs Merch stores | Compare the discount you expect to use on eligible purchases with the recurring monthly charge. The discount only matters when you make a covered purchase. |
| You tip occasionally, do not care about alert customization, or do not shop at the covered stores | The listed benefits may not justify a monthly membership for your use. |
| You are looking for streaming or recording software as a creator | Viewer Pro is not the creator software plan. Streamlabs says free streaming and recording tools are available separately; Ultra is the distinct premium bundle. |
Streamlabs does not publish average viewer spending, typical merch savings, or an independent comparison of the membership’s value. A practical decision is to weigh how often you expect to use the eligible alert features and merch discount against the monthly charge.

How to cancel and what Streamlabs says about refunds
Streamlabs lists two cancellation routes: open the Dashboard profile menu and choose Memberships, or use Pro Settings from a tip page. Its support information says canceling within the first 72 hours triggers an automatic refund. It also describes a 30-day money-back guarantee and directs members to submit a support ticket if the automatic-refund window has passed. Streamlabs estimates that most refunds take 3–7 business days to appear. These are Streamlabs’ stated terms, not a guarantee about a particular payment provider or bank; check the current support article before relying on them.
If your interest is keeping a gaming channel live around the clock
Streamlabs Pro for Viewers is not a 24/7 streaming service: it is a viewer membership for tip alerts and merch discounts. If your separate goal is to keep a YouTube channel live from uploaded videos, StreamNeo is a different cloud service: upload a recording or playlist, add your YouTube stream key, and go live. It streams uploaded videos to YouTube, not live camera footage. That may fit a creator’s always-on channel project, but it does not replace or provide the benefits of Streamlabs Pro for Viewers. Start a free first day with no card at StreamNeo.
