VyomCloud’s listed Mumbai plan costs more and offers 5 TB of traffic. For less server administration, StreamNeo is the managed alternative to consider first: it loops uploaded video from the cloud, supports the quality you upload up to 4K 60fps at one flat price per slot, and offers a free first day.
These are listing-based comparisons checked on October 3, 2026—not independent performance tests or guaranteed checkout prices. The practical choice depends on the stream’s total bitrate, whether you will relay or transcode, and how much monitoring and recovery work you want to handle.
Best option by need
- Least server management: StreamNeo is a managed YouTube-only service for looping uploaded videos from the cloud; its one-price-per-slot approach supports uploaded quality up to 4K 60fps, and the first day is free.
- Lowest apparent VPS listing: Plex Scale lists an 8 GB Mumbai tier at a promotional ₹399/month, with 3 TB bandwidth. Confirm that price and the renewal terms at checkout; the bandwidth allowance is tight for a continuous 720p stream.
- More listed bandwidth on a general VPS: VyomCloud lists a Mumbai 8 GB plan at ₹1,600/month with 5 TB traffic.
- Specialist streaming listing: NivoHost’s RDP 3 plan lists two stream handles and 20 TB bandwidth at ₹1,799/month, but its resolution and other seller claims should be verified against your requirements.
StreamNeo is a managed service, not a VPS: you upload a recording or playlist, add your YouTube stream key once, and start the cloud loop. See StreamNeo for the service details.
Why bandwidth can matter more than the VPS headline price
YouTube recommends an 8 Mbps H.264 ingestion bitrate for both 720p30 and 720p60. At a steady 8 Mbps, a 30-day stream sends about 2.59 TB of video payload: 8 megabits per second × 2,592,000 seconds ÷ 8 bits per byte. That is a calculation, not a YouTube-published allowance. It excludes audio, protocol overhead, and safety margin.
#1 Best Overall
YouTube recommends that available upload bandwidth exceed the total stream bitrate and advises allowing 20% headroom. Include audio and overhead when estimating traffic. A VPS provider’s monthly quota and the server’s available sustained network throughput are separate questions; a high advertised port speed does not mean the monthly transfer pool is unlimited.
Estimate the monthly transfer you need
- Add the video and audio bitrates to get the total stream bitrate in Mbps.
- Multiply that number by 2,592,000 seconds for a 30-day month, then divide by 8 to estimate decimal megabytes sent.
- Convert the result to the provider’s stated traffic units and add room for overhead and variation. Confirm how the provider defines and counts traffic.
- Check whether the plan has overage charges, throttling, or a hard cutoff when the quota is exhausted.
For an 8 Mbps video-only example, 3 TB leaves only modest headroom once audio and overhead are added. Endercloud’s listed 2 TB is below that video-payload estimate. A 5 TB allowance gives more room, but it still does not establish guaranteed throughput or reliability.

India VPS options compared
The figures below are provider listing claims checked on October 3, 2026. They are not checkout guarantees or independently tested streaming results. Confirm the live plan, renewal price, tax, traffic definition, and Mumbai availability before purchase.
| Option | Listed plan and price | Listed resources or terms | What it means for a 24/7 loop |
|---|---|---|---|
| StreamNeo managed service | Per-slot service; consult current pricing | Cloud looping of uploaded videos; vendor material describes a free first day and support for uploaded quality up to 4K60. | Not a general-purpose VPS. It avoids operating a server yourself; verify current plan details on the service site. |
| Plex Scale | India/Mumbai 8 GB tier; promotional ₹399/month shown on its result page | 2 vCPU, 8 GB RAM, 80 GB NVMe, 3 TB bandwidth. | Lowest apparent VPS entry price among these listings, but bandwidth is a tight fit for 720p30 at YouTube’s recommended 8 Mbps. Confirm the price at checkout. |
| VyomCloud | GPC.SMALL; ₹1,600/month | 4 vCPU, 8 GB RAM, 80 GB storage, 5 TB traffic, 250 Mbps shown; root access and a stated 99.5% uptime SLA. | More listed transfer headroom at a higher listed monthly price. The seller’s SLA is not an independent test of stream reliability. |
| Endercloud | INDIA-VPS-8GB; starting ₹999/month | 3 vCore, 8 GB ECC RAM, 50 GB NVMe, 2 TB at 1 Gbps; Mumbai. | The listed 2 TB is below the 2.59 TB video-only estimate for a continuous 8 Mbps stream over 30 days. |
| NivoHost | RDP 3; ₹1,799/month | Seller lists 720p30, two stream handles, 20 TB bandwidth, 8 CPU cores, 16 GB RAM, and 160 GB SSD. | A specialist listing may simplify setup, but verify the stream-handle definition, resolution, billing term, and price. The figures are seller claims, not independent results. |
Provider pages: Plex Scale, VyomCloud, Endercloud, and NivoHost. NivoHost also lists lower-priced 360p10 and 480p15 tiers; those are not direct substitutes for a 720p plan because the listed resolutions differ.

Choose a VPS based on how you will stream
Relay an already encoded file
A relay sends an existing encoded video to YouTube without changing its encoding. In that case, vCPU counts alone do not establish whether a plan is suitable: traffic allowance, sustained network behavior, storage, and reconnect handling matter. A provider’s listed network speed is not a measured guarantee of continuous throughput.
Transcode or re-encode
Continuous transcoding adds compute demand, and a plan’s advertised CPU count is not an FFmpeg performance benchmark. None of the VPS listings above establishes how well it will handle a particular transcoding workload. If you need to change resolution, frame rate, codec, or bitrate, test the exact workload before depending on the server for a continuous broadcast.

Check the full cost and operating burden
- Verify the initial and renewal price, billing term, taxes, and any setup fees.
- Ask how traffic is counted, whether inbound and outbound transfer are treated differently, and what happens at the quota limit.
- Confirm that Mumbai is available for the plan you are buying, not merely mentioned elsewhere on a provider’s site.
- Check storage against the size of your media and whether it is included in the advertised plan.
- Read the provider’s support and recovery terms. Do not treat a seller’s uptime statement as proof that your YouTube stream will stay connected.
- Account for your own setup, monitoring, security updates, and restart procedures when comparing a VPS with a managed service.
Configure the YouTube stream and plan for interruptions
YouTube’s encoder guidance supports RTMP and RTMPS, H.264, H.265, and AV1, and recommends constant bitrate, a two-second keyframe interval (no more than four seconds), and 128 kbps stereo audio. It recommends RTMPS to encrypt data in transit to and through Google’s servers. Follow the current guidance for your chosen codec and resolution: YouTube encoder settings.
- Prepare the media and target settings. Choose a resolution, frame rate, codec, and bitrate the source can sustain. For bandwidth planning, include audio as well as video.
- Get the ingest details in YouTube Studio. In the stream setup, use the server URL and stream key provided by YouTube in your encoder. Keep the key private; rotate it if you believe it has been exposed. See YouTube’s encoder setup guide.
- Set and test the encoder. Use the selected RTMP or RTMPS endpoint and the key, then test with audio and video movement similar to the intended broadcast. YouTube recommends testing before going live and monitoring stream health.
- Supervise the process. Arrange process monitoring and reconnect behavior, check available storage and YouTube stream health, and decide who will respond if the encoder exits or the stream disconnects.
- Plan session restarts. YouTube says streams under 12 hours are automatically archived; do not assume that one session is guaranteed to run indefinitely. Schedule and test a restart or new-session procedure appropriate to your channel.
Troubleshooting a VPS-hosted prerecorded stream
| Symptom | Likely cause | What to check |
|---|---|---|
| Stream stops or the VPS exceeds its monthly transfer | The total bitrate, audio, overhead, or traffic-accounting method was not included in the estimate. | Compare actual total bitrate and provider usage with the quota; confirm how outbound transfer and overages are counted. |
| YouTube reports unstable stream health | Available sustained upload bandwidth may be insufficient for the total bitrate, or the connection may vary. | Check the server’s actual outbound behavior and allow the 20% headroom YouTube recommends; do not rely solely on an advertised port speed. |
| Video or audio will not ingest as expected | The encoder settings, key, server URL, codec, or stream configuration may not match. | Recheck the YouTube server URL and stream key, encoder settings, keyframe interval, and audio bitrate against YouTube’s current guidance. |
| Stream does not resume after an interruption | The encoder or media process may not restart automatically, or YouTube may require a new session. | Inspect process supervision, reconnect behavior, logs, and the operator’s restart procedure; test recovery before relying on the stream. |
| Plan seems powerful but transcoding struggles | Advertised vCPU count does not show real-time performance for your specific codec and settings. | Test the exact FFmpeg or encoder workload, or relay an already encoded file if that meets your needs. |
Or let it run in the cloud
With StreamNeo, upload a recording or build a playlist, add your YouTube stream key once, and go live. It loops the uploaded video from the cloud, so no computer, OBS, or home internet connection has to stay on. The same per-slot product supports whatever quality you upload up to 4K 60fps at one flat price, with no re-encode or quality tiers. It also automatically recovers if YouTube drops the stream. The first day is free with no card; after that, the monthly option is $9.99 per month.
