Add related video links by editing the stream’s description in YouTube Studio’s Live Control Room. Choose the scheduled stream under Manage, add clearly labeled URLs (or one playlist link), save, then check the watch page on desktop and mobile. Link behavior can vary by viewing format, so test the actual stream rather than assuming every URL will be clickable everywhere.
Add video links in YouTube Studio

Open YouTube Studio and select Create > Go Live to enter Live Control Room.

Open Manage. Select the scheduled 24/7 stream you want to edit, or schedule a stream if you have not created one yet.

Open the stream’s edit or settings controls. In the description, add a short label followed by the full URL for each relevant video. For example: Watch the previous episode: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=…

If you have several related videos, use a playlist URL instead of a long, unstructured list. YouTube recommends linking related playlists in descriptions.

Save the changes. Open the stream’s watch page as a viewer and check the description and each destination. Test on desktop and mobile, and in the format your stream uses.

YouTube lets creators select stream metadata when creating a stream or edit it from the stream settings while scheduling. The same general approach applies when updating an existing scheduled stream. See YouTube’s live stream settings guidance and encoder streaming setup.
Choose individual video links or a playlist
Use individual URLs for a small number of specific videos
When one or two videos are the best next watch, give each URL a concise, descriptive label. Put the most useful destination near the beginning of the description so viewers are more likely to see it without expanding the text.

Use a playlist to group several related videos
A playlist is easier to maintain when viewers need a collection, such as a game series or a set of guides. YouTube’s video description tips recommend linking related playlists. The description can contain up to 5,000 characters; keep the stream’s purpose and primary link in the opening lines.
Check whether viewers can open the links
Do not assume a URL will be clickable in every YouTube viewing context. YouTube’s link guidance says URLs in live chat are clickable for horizontal live streams, while links in live chat and channel descriptions are not clickable when viewers watch a vertical live feed in the mobile app. That guidance does not establish clickability for every description URL, format, client, and surface.

Preview the actual watch page on desktop and mobile, including the vertical or horizontal format you use.

Confirm that each destination is correct and visible in the description.

If a clickable link is important, check whether the channel has access to YouTube’s advanced features, which its link guidance requires for clickable external links.
A description URL is not the same as YouTube’s “Related Video” feature. That feature links a video from a Short’s player; it is not the setting for adding links to a live stream description. See YouTube’s video upload guidance.
