The identified Roblox child-gambling class actions are not new: Colvin v. Roblox was filed on August 1, 2023, and a separate, similar case, Gentry v. Roblox, followed on March 14, 2024. Plaintiffs allege that minors used Robux to obtain gambling credits on third-party virtual-casino websites. Those claims have not been established as facts, and the records cited here do not substantiate a separate 2026 gambling class action.
Which Roblox gambling lawsuits are at issue?
Roblox’s Form 10-Q for the quarter ended June 30, 2026 identifies two putative class actions concerning alleged gambling with Robux. They are separate cases, not two names for one lawsuit.

The 2026 filing identifies no separate 2026 gambling class action. Because it reports information through June 30, 2026, it does not by itself establish whether either case has had a later development.
What do the complaints allege?
In Colvin, the plaintiffs allege that adolescents and teenagers exchanged Robux within the Roblox ecosystem for gambling credits on third-party websites operating virtual casinos. They claim Roblox and other defendants supported or facilitated that process. The Gentry complaint makes substantially similar allegations about minors obtaining gambling credits with Robux.

These are allegations by plaintiffs. The complaints do not establish that Roblox itself operated a casino, nor does the procedural history described in the company’s filing amount to a finding that Roblox facilitated illegal gambling.
What relief do plaintiffs seek?
The Colvin complaint asserts, among other theories, California consumer-protection and negligence claims. It asks for court-ordered relief that includes an injunction and restitution or disgorgement. These requests describe what the plaintiffs want the court to order; they are not a judgment that the plaintiffs are entitled to that relief.

What has happened in the cases?
Roblox’s Form 10-Q for the quarter ended June 30, 2026 reports that, in Colvin, the court granted Roblox’s motion to dismiss in part and denied it in part on March 26, 2024. A supplemental order clarified that unjust-enrichment and equitable-relief claims could proceed. The plaintiffs filed an amended complaint on April 9, 2024, re-alleging two claims that had previously been dismissed.
A motion-to-dismiss ruling addresses which claims may continue at that stage; it does not decide whether the underlying allegations are true. The filing identifies Gentry as having substantially identical allegations. The records cited here do not establish a later final judgment, settlement, or class-certification decision in either gambling action.

Are other 2026 Roblox lawsuits about gambling with Robux?
No. Two other matters mentioned in 2026 coverage concern different allegations and should not be presented as updates to the gambling cases.
- A February 2026 class action concerns alleged grooming-related conduct. The district court found it related to the Roblox multidistrict litigation for case-management purposes, but not a member case in that MDL. That order is not about gambling with Robux.
- An August 2026 announcement by the Ohio Attorney General concerns a securities class action alleging that Roblox misled investors about child-safety protections. Ohio said it was seeking lead-plaintiff status. This, too, is distinct from the gambling litigation.
Accordingly, a headline calling a Roblox child-gambling lawsuit “new” is not supported by the filing dates of the identified cases. A claim that another gambling case has since been filed would require a separate, identifiable docket.
