A free scan shows the junk files, broken settings and background clutter dragging Windows down - then fixes them in one click.Free scan · Windows 10 & 11To run an Indian temple radio channel on YouTube around the clock, choose between capturing a live temple feed and looping a prepared playlist, clear the rights to every recording and visual, enable YouTube Live, then send the program through an encoder or cloud playout service. A 24/7 broadcast is not a guarantee of uninterrupted uptime, and a single stream longer than 12 hours may not be archived by YouTube.
Choose what the channel will broadcast
Decide first whether viewers will hear and see the temple as it happens or a prepared devotional program. The choice determines the equipment, permissions, staffing, and archive plan.
Live temple capture
Use a live feed for current ceremonies, announcements, or ambient temple sound. Confirm that the temple permits the equipment and the proposed microphone or camera placement, and consider how the feed could capture conversations or people who have not agreed to appear. YouTube’s encoder guidance describes connecting external equipment such as microphones, cameras, and mixers for more involved productions: YouTube’s live encoder setup guide.
Prepared devotional playlist
Use a playlist when the channel should play a consistent sequence of bhajans, kirtan, Gurbani, chants, or other devotional recordings. Decide the order, whether to add breaks or announcements, and what visual accompanies the audio. A still image or looping visual is also part of the program and needs appropriate permission. Buying or downloading a recording does not by itself grant permission to rebroadcast it.

- 12-Month Warranty: Backed by a 12-month manufacturer warranty for peace of mind. Designed to meet strict quality control standards for reliable everyday performance.
Clear rights for the program, not just the occasion
Make an asset log before scheduling the stream. For every song, chant, recording, performance, and visual, record its title, performer or producer, rights holder if known, territories, permission for online live streaming, permission for archiving, and the written evidence supporting those permissions. Music can involve distinct rights in the underlying musical or literary work and in the specific sound recording; confirm that the person granting permission can authorize each use.
India’s Copyright Act contains an exception worded for certain works or sound recordings communicated “in the course of any bona fide religious ceremony.” That wording should not be treated as blanket clearance for a separate, continuous radio-style channel. Whether a particular broadcast fits the statutory language depends on its facts; seek qualified Indian legal advice before relying on the exception. Do not assume that devotional subject matter, old lyrics, or a religious setting makes a recording free to stream.

YouTube says it scans live streams for matches to third-party content. Its Copyright issues with live streams guidance says that even licensed third-party content may interrupt a stream if the channel is not on the rights holder’s Content ID allowlist. Ask the rights holder whether the channel needs to be allowlisted, and do so before going live. A license does not guarantee that YouTube will not interrupt the broadcast.
Enable YouTube Live and connect an encoder
- Enable live streaming in advance. YouTube says first-time live-stream enablement may take up to 24 hours. Confirm the channel is enabled well before the planned launch, using the current instructions in YouTube’s encoder setup guide.
- Create or schedule the stream in YouTube Studio. Set up the live event and open the Live Control Room. Copy the stream URL and stream key shown for that broadcast.
- Choose an encoder that suits the source. An encoder can be software on a computer or a hardware device. YouTube’s verified encoder list includes free/open-source and commercial options; a paid encoder is not inherently required. For live capture, verify that it accepts the temple’s actual audio and video inputs. For a prepared playlist, choose a setup the team can operate and recover from.
- Enter the connection details. Paste YouTube’s server URL and stream key into the encoder’s streaming settings. Treat the key like a password: share it only with trusted operators and replace it if it is exposed.
- Preview before starting. Check the sound, image, stream title and visibility, then start the encoder and confirm the signal appears in YouTube Studio before starting the event for viewers.
Labels and layouts can change in YouTube Studio, so follow the current on-screen instructions for the selected stream type. Keep access to the Live Control Room and encoder with the people responsible for operating the channel.

Set quality to match the temple’s upload connection
Do not choose resolution by aspiration alone: the upload connection must sustain the outgoing stream, including the audio and motion in the real program. Test the connection from the place where the encoder will run. YouTube recommends testing with audio and movement similar to the actual broadcast, then watching stream health and system messages during the event.
For its RTMP/RTMPS encoder guidance, YouTube recommends RTMPS for encrypted delivery to Google’s servers and lists H.264, constant bitrate encoding, and a two-second keyframe interval among its settings. Check YouTube’s current live encoder settings when configuring the encoder; technical recommendations can change. Set a resolution and bitrate the tested connection can sustain rather than copying a setting that is too demanding for the site’s internet service.

Choose the operating model that fits the program
| Option | Better fit | Trade-offs |
|---|---|---|
| StreamNeo cloud playout | A prepared, rights-cleared video or playlist that should loop without a local computer sending the stream continuously. | It is an external paid service; permissions, YouTube channel access, and YouTube’s acceptance of the content still matter. StreamNeo describes automatic recovery if YouTube drops the stream; this is the vendor’s description, not an independent performance test. |
| Local software or hardware encoder | A temple with live audio/video inputs, a stable local connection, and an operator or tested operating process. | Local power, computer, internet, and operator availability affect continuity. The producer controls the source and can make local recordings. YouTube supports software and hardware encoders. |
| Live temple capture | Current ceremonies, announcements, or ambience that cannot be represented by a prepared loop. | Requires appropriate audio/video equipment and site permission; rights, privacy, and the people captured by the feed still need consideration. |
| Prepared devotional playlist | A consistent audio program assembled in advance. | Every recording and visual needs suitable rights, and the team must plan loop order, breaks, announcements, and archives. |
These options are not interchangeable: live capture describes the source, while a local encoder or cloud playout describes how that source reaches YouTube. For either model, plan how an operator or a tested recovery process will respond to lost power, internet, or a dropped stream. No uptime figure is established here, and no setup can remove the need to manage rights and channel access.
Independent reader supportYour contribution helps us test, update, and keep practical guides available for everyone.Plan the archive separately from the live schedule
YouTube says streams under 12 hours can be automatically archived, recommends keeping a local backup, and warns that streams exceeding 12 hours may not be captured at all. Do not promise a complete 24-hour replay from one continuous broadcast. If an archive matters, retain a local recording or plan shorter sessions and confirm the resulting replays are available as intended. See YouTube’s live-stream archive guidance.

Understand monetization eligibility
YouTube says live-stream monetization is available to channels in the YouTube Partner Program. Its current help guidance lists full YPP eligibility as 1,000 subscribers plus either 4,000 qualified public watch hours in the previous 12 months or 10 million qualified Shorts views in 90 days, along with policy and account requirements and a review. Reaching a threshold does not guarantee approval. Check YouTube’s current YPP eligibility guidance before making financial plans; requirements can change.
Or let it run in the cloud
For a prepared playlist, StreamNeo is the cloud-playout option to try first: it keeps a YouTube stream running from uploaded videos, at any quality up to 4K 60fps for one flat price per slot, with the first day free and no card required. Upload the recording or build a playlist, add the YouTube stream key once, and go live. The service loops uploaded material in the cloud, so no computer or home internet connection has to stay on; it also describes automatic recovery if YouTube drops the stream. StreamNeo plays uploaded videos, not a live camera feed, and it does not clear music or video rights for you. Its monthly plan is $9.99 per month. Start the free first day at StreamNeo registration.
