For a YouTube channel that needs prerecorded videos to loop around the clock without a computer running, Gyre is the closer fit. StreamVoodoo’s indexed product description is for connecting remote guests and performers to a live production, not for looping a prerecorded library. Its current availability is unclear, so treat it as an option to verify rather than a confirmed service you can sign up for today.
If your goal is a cloud-run prerecorded stream, StreamNeo is the first alternative to consider: it loops uploaded videos on YouTube, runs without your computer, supports any uploaded quality up to 4K 60fps at one flat price per slot, and offers a free first day.
Which service fits your 24/7 channel?
| Your goal | Best apparent fit | Why |
|---|---|---|
| Loop prerecorded videos continuously without leaving a computer on | StreamNeo | It runs an always-on YouTube stream from the cloud, at any uploaded quality up to 4K 60fps for one flat price per slot; the first day is free. |
| Run a cloud-hosted playlist of prerecorded videos | Gyre | Gyre describes uploading videos, creating playlists, scheduling broadcasts, and automatically restarting a playlist when it ends. These are vendor descriptions, not independent reliability findings. Gyre product page |
| Bring remote guests or performers into a live production | StreamVoodoo, if currently available | Its indexed FAQ describes browser-based rooms, individual guest feeds, and connections to production software such as OBS or vMix. That is a live-production workflow, not an unattended prerecorded loop. StreamVoodoo FAQ |
| Operate a conventional live show with a host, scene changes, and active production | Neither can be named a winner from the available product descriptions | Compare the production setup you actually need and verify the current status and capabilities of each service. |
StreamVoodoo’s indexed FAQ and legacy plan information are not evidence that it remains available, supported, or sold on those terms. The product domain and FAQ did not provide a current product page when accessed. Do not rely on historical StreamVoodoo prices or assume you can purchase a plan without checking directly.
StreamNeo is a separate option for the prerecorded-loop use case, not a replacement for StreamVoodoo-style guest production. It streams uploaded videos to YouTube only; it does not broadcast live camera footage.

- Compact & Travel-Friendly: The ultra-compact design allows the adapter to stay plugged into your device without blocking adjacent ports or adding bulk, reducing wear and tear on your original USB ports.
- 12-Month Warranty: Backed by a 12-month manufacturer warranty for peace of mind. Designed to meet strict quality control standards for reliable everyday performance.
How the two services work
Gyre: cloud-hosted prerecorded playlists
Gyre’s published workflow is to upload files to its storage, arrange them into a playlist, connect a YouTube account, configure a broadcast, and let the playlist restart when it finishes. Gyre says its cloud infrastructure keeps the broadcast running even if the creator’s computer or internet connection is off. That describes the service’s intended operation, not a guarantee of uptime.
Gyre’s product page accessed in 2026 displayed a seven-day $0 trial with one HD stream, 20 GB of storage, up to 15 files, Full HD at 30 fps, and a watermark. It also displayed Start at $49 with one HD stream and 35 GB; Start+ at $99 with up to four HD streams or one 4K stream and 75 GB; and PRO+ at $169 with up to eight HD streams or two 4K streams and 150 GB. These displayed prices and limits can change; the page also presented multi-month options and discounts, so verify billing period, checkout total, and current feature limits before subscribing. Gyre product page
Before choosing a Gyre plan, compare its simultaneous stream count, resolution, storage, file limit, watermark, playlist and scheduling access, supported destinations, and billing term. Gyre lists multiple destinations, but that vendor-published list should not be taken as an independent assessment of reliability on each platform.

StreamVoodoo: remote contributors for a live production
StreamVoodoo’s indexed FAQ describes browser rooms called Duo, Cinco, and Switcher for two, five, and ten concurrent connections respectively. Guests join through an invitation link and allow camera and microphone access. The FAQ describes individual “Magic Links” that can route feeds into production software such as OBS or vMix. This is a contribution workflow for interviews, panels, performances, and other productions with live remote participants.

Choose by workflow, not by the word “live”
YouTube defines live streaming as interaction with an audience in real time through video, chat, and more. A prerecorded playlist sent as a live broadcast can keep a channel continuously available, but that does not make it the same kind of production as a host speaking to viewers or guests joining a live panel. - Choose a looping service when your content is already recorded and the priority is continuous playback with minimal local operation. Gyre’s described workflow fits this; StreamNeo is another cloud option for uploaded videos.
- Choose a guest-contribution tool when remote people need to send live camera and microphone feeds to a production system. StreamVoodoo’s indexed description points to this use, subject to verifying that the product is currently operating.
- Choose a production stack for a hosted live show when someone needs to direct scenes, cameras, and audio. The available descriptions do not establish that either product is the right complete production solution.
YouTube eligibility, stream limits, and content rules
YouTube Help says live streaming requires a verified channel with no live-streaming restriction in the previous 90 days, and the streamer must be at least 16. YouTube also states a limit of 10 active streams per channel and three per stream key, with both limits applying at once. A service plan’s stream allowance does not override YouTube’s limits. Check the current YouTube requirements before scheduling a broadcast. YouTube Help: Get started with live streaming
All streamed material remains subject to YouTube’s Community Guidelines and Terms of Service. A channel being continuously live does not exempt its content from those policies. YouTube Help: Get started with live streaming
Monetization is conditional
YouTube describes ads, Super Chat and Super Stickers, and channel memberships as possible live-stream monetization features for eligible creators. Ads are not guaranteed to serve, so always-on status alone does not promise revenue. YouTube Help: Monetize your live stream

Gyre’s September 2026 technical article says that API-created broadcasts inherit monetization only if the creator enables YouTube Studio’s setting to apply monetization defaults to streams created with third-party tools. Because this depends on a changing YouTube workflow, confirm the setting and behavior in Studio before launch. Gyre technical article
If you are asking whether public live-stream watch hours count toward YouTube Partner Program eligibility when a broadcast runs longer than 12 hours and is not saved as a video on demand, the sources cited here do not resolve that specific case. Do not infer an answer from the stream being public or continuous; check YouTube’s current monetization guidance for the exact situation.
Independent reader supportYour contribution helps us test, update, and keep practical guides available for everyone. What the published performance claims can—and cannot—tell you
Gyre’s product page markets results such as “20–50% faster” monetization, “60–80%” more views, and “2–3×” longer viewing than regular uploads. These are vendor marketing claims, not independent comparisons or promised outcomes. The same page displays selected case-study figures, including 787.21K watch hours over 90 days and 1.88M views for one music-channel example; it does not establish that those results are representative or independently audited. Before you start a 24/7 broadcast
- Confirm the format. Decide whether you are looping prerecorded videos, producing a live show, or combining live contributors with a production system.
- Check channel access. Verify YouTube eligibility, stream restrictions, and the channel’s active-stream and stream-key limits.
- Clear content rights. Make sure you have rights to the video, music, artwork, and other material in the playlist, and that it complies with YouTube policies.
- Match the plan to the workload. For Gyre, check stream count, resolution, storage, file limits, watermark, playlist and scheduling access, and billing terms. For StreamVoodoo, first establish whether it is currently available; then verify connection count, feed routing, browser support, audio, and network requirements.
- Check monetization settings. If relying on monetization defaults for broadcasts created with a third-party tool, verify the applicable YouTube Studio setting and test the actual broadcast.
- Run a test stream. Confirm playback, audio, video quality, playlist behavior, and the YouTube destination before relying on a continuous schedule.
