Best first try: StreamNeo if you want to loop uploaded study music on YouTube without leaving a computer running. Upload a recording or build a playlist, add your YouTube stream key, and start the stream; StreamNeo runs it from the cloud, supports uploaded video up to 4K 60fps at one flat price per slot, and offers a free first day with no card. For a documented alternative focused on scheduled prerecorded playlists, compare Gyre. AWS Elemental MediaLive and Cloudflare Stream are more configurable cloud-video components, but require a different workflow than a simple playlist loop.
What a 24/7 study-music stream needs
A continuous prerecorded stream needs an encoder to send video and audio to YouTube using the channel’s server URL and stream key. YouTube recommends RTMPS, constant bitrate (CBR), and a two-second keyframe interval (with a maximum four-second interval) in its encoder settings guidance. H.264 video and AAC or MP3 audio are listed for the relevant standard live workflow; use settings supported by the service and match them to the format of your source files.
For a study-music channel, the key distinction is whether a service natively stores and loops prerecorded files, or whether you must assemble and operate a cloud encoding architecture yourself. Also compare the number of simultaneous streams, storage, resolution and frame-rate limits, playlist and scheduling controls, trial terms, and ongoing cost.
Best options, ranked for this use case
| Rank and service | Best fit | What to weigh |
|---|---|---|
| #1 StreamNeo | A creator who wants uploaded videos or a playlist to loop continuously on YouTube, with no home computer left running. | One always-on stream per slot, 10 GB storage per slot pooled across active slots, playlists, and automatic recovery if YouTube drops the stream. Uploads stream as made, up to 4K 60fps, at one price per slot. The first day is free with no card. |
| #2 Gyre | A creator looking for cloud storage, playlist looping, scheduling, and a service-managed prerecorded stream. | YouTube’s encoder catalog lists Gyre as a cloud-based tool for 24/7 prerecorded-video streams. Gyre describes upload, playlist creation, scheduled starts, and continuous looping. These are documented product capabilities, not independent uptime results. Its trial and paid tiers have different storage, concurrency, formats, and feature terms; check the current Gyre pricing page. |
| #3 AWS Elemental MediaLive with related AWS services | A custom or broadcast-oriented live-video architecture with a need for configurable cloud infrastructure. | AWS documents 24/7 live-channel support and usage-based billing, but you must design and cost the architecture. The example cost discussed below is for a one-hour event, not a 24/7 YouTube channel. |
| #4 Cloudflare Stream | A managed live ingest, encoding, and delivery workflow that needs Cloudflare’s video features. | It accepts RTMPS or SRT and documents input and recording constraints. The consulted documentation does not establish it as a turnkey prerecorded YouTube playlist-looping service. |
1. StreamNeo: simplest hands-off route
StreamNeo is a cloud service for keeping a YouTube channel live from uploaded videos. Upload a recording or create a playlist, enter your YouTube stream key once, and start the stream. The uploaded media loops from StreamNeo’s cloud, so your computer and home connection do not need to stay on. StreamNeo streams to YouTube only; it does not broadcast a camera feed.

2. Gyre: documented playlist and scheduling alternative
Gyre is the clearest alternative in the available product documentation for creators who want cloud looping of prerecorded video. Its product information describes uploading files, building playlists, scheduling a start, and continuous playback; YouTube’s encoder catalog also lists it for 24/7 prerecorded-video streaming.
Gyre’s vendor materials observed on October 3, 2026, listed a seven-day trial with one HD stream, 20 GB storage, up to 15 files, and a watermark. The same materials listed monthly paid tiers at $49, $99, and $169, with differences in concurrent streams, storage, playlists or scheduling, and output formats. A Gyre update dated September 2026 described the trial as including one Full HD stream and 20 GB storage, and paid plans ranging from $49 to $169 per month. Because the vendor’s descriptions and plan terms can change, confirm current limits, prices, and watermark rules on its pricing page before subscribing.

These are vendor-described features, not an independent uptime assessment. YouTube notes that verified encoder products are third-party offerings: “None of these products are made by YouTube.”
3. AWS and Cloudflare: when a configurable workflow makes sense
AWS Elemental MediaLive
AWS MediaLive can support a custom live-video architecture, but it is not presented here as a ready-made prerecorded playlist service. AWS billing depends on inputs, outputs, add-ons, region, and how long resources run. Its pricing information says on-demand charges have a ten-minute minimum and are rounded by the minute; channel costs continue while resources are running, even if no content is being received or produced. Use the current AWS calculator for the actual architecture and region.

AWS’s deployment-planning example for US East (N. Virginia) estimates about $69.74 for a one-hour event with approximately 1,000 viewers at SD-540p: about $2.50 for live encoding and packaging plus $67.24 for 791 GB of distribution. That is an AWS example with stated event assumptions, not a monthly estimate for one 24/7 YouTube stream. The same AWS material gives a MediaLive example totaling $3.75 per hour for a specified set of inputs and outputs; it should not be treated as a universal price.
Cloudflare Stream
Cloudflare Stream’s live-input documentation says it accepts RTMPS or SRT and supports H.264 video and AAC audio input for Stream Live. It recommends CBR where possible, a GOP duration between two and eight seconds, and reconnect configuration. Recordings longer than seven days are truncated at seven days. These details are relevant to a live ingest workflow, but the documented material does not show Cloudflare Stream as a turnkey service for looping a prerecorded YouTube playlist.

YouTube setup, archive limits, and music rights
YouTube’s live setup uses a server URL and stream key; keep the key private and use the RTMPS endpoint where your encoder supports it. YouTube says streams under 12 hours are automatically archived. Do not assume a continuous stream lasting longer than that will be available as one complete archive; plan separately for recordings or shorter sessions if you need a replay.
Having permission to upload a track is not the only channel-policy consideration. Before scheduling a continuous stream, confirm that you have the necessary rights to every composition, recording, visual, and other element, including any licenses that apply to public performance or online use. YouTube’s copyright and monetization decisions are separate from whether an encoder can keep a signal running. Repeatedly looping music does not itself establish originality or eligibility for monetization, and no service can promise audience growth, recommendations, watch time, or earnings from a 24/7 stream. Use StreamNeo’s copyright safety checklist as a practical preflight.
How to choose
- Choose StreamNeo when the priority is an always-on YouTube loop from uploaded files, a computer-free setup, automatic recovery, and the same quality allowance at one per-slot price.
- Compare Gyre when its playlist, scheduling, concurrency, file, or output-format options better match your channel; check the current trial and plan conditions, including any watermark.
- Consider AWS when you need to build a tailored cloud production workflow and are prepared to cost each running component and distribution assumption.
- Consider Cloudflare Stream when its live ingest and video-delivery capabilities match a larger workflow, rather than assuming it provides native playlist looping for YouTube.
Or let it run in the cloud
With StreamNeo, upload your study-music video or playlist, add your YouTube stream key, and go live. Nothing has to stay on at home; uploaded video streams as made up to 4K 60fps at one price per slot; and StreamNeo automatically recovers if YouTube drops the stream. The first day is free with no card. Monthly billing is $9.99 per month. See StreamNeo or start your free first day.
