No. If PRISM Live Studio on your computer is supplying the video to YouTube, the computer must stay on and connected while the stream is running. Scheduling a YouTube live event sets up the event page; it does not keep PRISM sending video after the PC is shut down.
Why PRISM needs the PC to stay on
PRISM acts as the encoder in this setup: it sends the video feed to YouTube using the stream URL and key. PRISM’s official FAQ describes entering the platform’s stream key in PRISM’s RTMP setup, and YouTube’s encoder instructions likewise require the encoder to connect and send the feed.
When the computer is turned off, PRISM stops sending that content. YouTube Help puts the relationship plainly: “To end the stream, stop sending content from your encoder.” The practical result is that a PRISM-powered live stream cannot continue from that PC after it shuts down.
Scheduling a YouTube live event does not solve it
Scheduling makes an upcoming stream easier to find and lets viewers set reminders. It does not provide an independent video source. YouTube’s live stream settings guidance still directs creators to connect an encoder and start sending the stream when it is time to go live. If PRISM is the encoder, it—and the PC running it—must remain active for the feed to continue.

A YouTube playlist is not the same as an unattended stream
A playlist on YouTube and a stream of prerecorded media are different workflows. YouTube’s encoder guide names the AJA HELO Plus as a standalone encoder and says its optional PlayToStream feature can schedule and stream prerecorded media directly to YouTube Live without a computer. That documents a possible hardware route for prerecorded media; it does not establish that the device accepts a YouTube playlist URL, loops playlist items, or works with PRISM. Check current product documentation or ask the vendor about those requirements before choosing it as a playlist solution.
Do not confuse a stream archive with a stream that keeps running
Google’s live-production guide says streams under 12 hours are automatically archived. That is about saving a recording after or during a broadcast, not keeping the live feed going when an encoder stops or a computer is off. It does not establish a maximum PRISM playlist length or unattended playback capability.
