For a live walk, event or other phone-camera broadcast, IRL Pro is the more direct workflow to assess. For overlays, multiple desktop sources or a composed scene, OBS is the relevant tool—but check the actual PC and run a sustained test before committing to an always-on broadcast. Neither the reviewed documentation nor the title establishes a head-to-head test, an India-wide network result or an India-specific cost winner.
Check whether the PC can sustain OBS
There is no confirmed minimum PC specification or low-cost-PC benchmark in the available official guidance. Do not assume a machine is suitable from its price or processor name alone. Before choosing OBS, identify:
- The exact CPU and whether the system has a hardware video encoder in its GPU.
- Installed memory and operating system.
- The camera, game, browser windows and other sources in the scene, plus any overlays or filters.
- Your intended resolution, frame rate and encoder bitrate.
- Whether the PC can stay powered, cool and connected for the full broadcast.
Run a sustained upload test at the intended output rate and at the time of day you expect to stream. Test the complete scene and monitor stream health; a speed-test result alone does not prove that the encoder or connection will remain stable continuously. No Indian carrier upload measurements, mobile-data costs, local PC prices or power-reliability figures are established here.

Set the YouTube encoder settings from the connection
YouTube’s recommendations are ingest settings, not guarantees of available upload speed in India. Choose a codec and output target the encoder supports, then leave headroom below sustained upload capacity rather than setting bitrate equal to a best-case speed-test result.

- Rate control: Use CBR.
- Frame rate: YouTube supports up to 60 fps; choose a target your encoder and sustained connection can handle.
- Keyframes: Set a 2-second interval; do not exceed 4 seconds.
- Audio: Use AAC or MP3.
- Ingest: YouTube recommends RTMPS for a secure connection.
YouTube advises testing with audio and movement similar to the actual broadcast, running a speed test and watching stream health. A static desktop test is not a good substitute for a moving camera feed or a demanding game scene.
Configure IRL Pro for a mobile stream
- Confirm the source and connection. IRL Pro is an Android mobile encoder, so plan to capture with an Android device and send over one network connection. It does not bond multiple connections. Review the IRL Pro guide for the current app workflow.
- Use the YouTube stream destination. In YouTube Live, obtain the server URL and stream key, then enter the required destination details in the encoder. Keep the key private: anyone who obtains it may be able to broadcast to your channel.
- Choose protocol for the route. Enhanced IRL’s guide recommends SRT rather than RTMP for single-SIM street-level streaming. This is vendor guidance, not an independent comparison of Indian carriers or routes.
- Start conservatively and test your route. The guide recommends beginning at half the applicable plan cap, walking the usual route, and increasing the rate only if the connection remains stable. A plan cap is a service limit, not a promise of mobile upload capacity or a YouTube requirement.
- Run a representative private or unlisted test. Check picture, sound, movement and stream health before relying on the setup for a continuous public broadcast.
The IRL Pro guide lists these service-plan caps and suggested output targets. They describe those plans only; they do not show what an Indian carrier can sustain.

Do not treat a plan’s cap as a target you can safely stream at while moving. Coverage and sustained upload matter, especially on a single mobile connection.
Set up YouTube Live and plan for a 24-hour broadcast
- Enable live streaming for the channel. YouTube says first-time activation can take up to 24 hours, so do this before the day you plan to go live.
- In YouTube Live, copy the server URL and stream key into the chosen encoder. YouTube’s setup instructions are at YouTube Help: Set up a live stream with an encoder.
- Test before the public broadcast with representative audio and motion, then monitor stream health during the test.
- Plan archive handling separately: YouTube says streams shorter than 12 hours are automatically archived. Do not rely on that statement to promise an automatic archive for one uninterrupted 24-hour stream; consult current YouTube guidance for longer broadcasts.
Also make sure the video and audio you broadcast are rights-cleared and comply with YouTube’s current policies. A 24/7 schedule does not make copyrighted or reused material safe to stream or eligible for monetization.

If your goal is a prerecorded 24/7 loop
A prerecorded loop is not the same as a live IRL camera feed. YouTube Help lists Gyre as a cloud-based option for 24/7 prerecorded video that does not require a dedicated PC. The cited information does not establish current India availability or partner terms, so check those directly before choosing it. Troubleshoot common failures
- YouTube will not accept the stream key: Check that the key and server URL were copied from the intended YouTube Live stream and entered in the encoder correctly. Treat the key as private.
- Activation is unavailable: If this is the channel’s first live broadcast, YouTube says activation can take up to 24 hours. Enable it in advance.
- Mobile video stutters while walking: Do not infer that a plan bitrate cap is available upload. Test the route, reduce the starting bitrate and raise it only after stable testing; the IRL Pro guide favors SRT over RTMP for single-SIM street use.
- OBS drops frames or the stream is unstable: The cause cannot be determined from “low-cost PC” alone. Check the exact CPU/GPU encoder, memory, source and filter load, output settings, thermals and sustained upload; lower the output demand and retest the complete scene.
- The archive is missing after a 24-hour stream: YouTube’s automatic archive guidance covers streams under 12 hours, not an uninterrupted 24-hour broadcast. Check current YouTube guidance for preserving longer streams rather than assuming the archive will be created.
