There is no single Larix setting that fixes every YouTube live-stream disconnect on Airtel mobile data. First find out whether Larix stopped publishing, YouTube received the stream but reported a problem, or playback failed after YouTube accepted it. Check Larix and YouTube Live Control Room during the same short private or unlisted test; then verify the stream destination, reduce output if your mobile upload cannot sustain it, and inspect Larix’s reconnect controls and Airtel’s local network status.
Why does my Larix stream keep disconnecting on Airtel data?
A live stream depends on several links: Larix must send video from your phone, the mobile connection must carry it to YouTube, YouTube must ingest and process it, and playback must reach viewers. A disconnect reported by a viewer does not by itself show which link failed—or prove Airtel caused it.
Run a brief private or unlisted test and watch Larix and YouTube Live Control Room at the same time. YouTube’s encoder workflow uses a server URL and stream key entered in the encoder. YouTube Help: Go live with an encoder.
Read the two status reports together
- Larix says it disconnected or stopped publishing: Check its destination, app/device behavior and outbound connection.
- YouTube receives video but reports stream-health trouble: Examine the configured output and whether the actual stream remains stable.
- YouTube reports a healthy incoming stream, but viewers cannot watch: The issue may be downstream of Larix publishing; investigate playback rather than treating it as an encoder disconnect.
Note the exact Larix status or error and YouTube’s health message, along with the time and location. Those details help distinguish a repeatable phone, connection or ingest issue from a playback problem.

- 【Strong Adsorption】The inspiration of the silicone phone suction case comes from the adhesive force of the octopus. Each suction cup phone mount is 3.15 inches long and 2.17 inches wide, with 24 independent suction cups providing a stronger and more stable suction force, so you don't have to worry about your phone falling during use.
- 【Back of Phone Suction Grip】Remove the adhesive film on the phone suction cup and stick it on the phone case. You can then fix the phone on any smooth surface, which is very convenient. (The phone suction cup cannot be removed and reused after being attached to the phone case. It is recommended to attach it to a regular phone case, not a valuable one.)
- 【Widely Used】Our non-slip silicone phone sticky grip mount attaches to almost any flat phone case and make it compatible with common mobile phones such as iPhone and Android. You can shoot, watch videos or video calls in the kitchen, gym, dance studio, bathroom and other places.
- 【Capture the Wonderful Picture】Whether you are a TikTok creator or just like to share videos and photos, this phone suction cup can help you hands-free capture wonderful videos and photos for sharing with friends.
- 【Note】You can fix the phone suction cup on a smooth surface such as a mirror or glass. If necessary, wipe the suction cup with a damp cloth to obtain stronger suction. Before releasing your hand, make sure the phone is firmly fixed. (Not applicable to rough walls, wooden surfaces, and other uneven surfaces)
Verify the YouTube destination and stream key
For the intended live stream, open its setup in YouTube Live Control Room and confirm the current server URL and stream key. Copy the values for that stream into Larix rather than relying on an old saved key or a URL from a different setup. YouTube’s encoder instructions specify entering the server URL and stream key in the encoder: YouTube Help: Go live with an encoder.
If the destination details are correct and Larix still drops, do not assume that changing the key, protocol or codec will help. Use the status reports and the next checks to identify evidence for a different cause.

- SUPERIOR COMFORT — Unlike traditional circular ear buds, the design of EarPods is defined by the geometry of the ear. Which makes them more comfortable for more people than any other ear bud–style headphones.
- HIGH-QUALITY AUDIO — The speakers inside EarPods have been engineered to maximize sound output and minimize sound loss, which means you get high-quality audio.
- BUILT-IN REMOTE — EarPods with USB-C plug also include a built-in remote that lets you adjust the volume, control the playback of music and video, and answer or end calls with a pinch of the cord.
- COMPATIBILITY — Works with all devices that have a USB-C port.
- INTEGRATED MICROPHONE — A built-in microphone precisely captures your voice while you’re on the phone, taking a FaceTime call, or summoning Siri — so you’re always heard loud and clear.
Is my upload bitrate too high for Airtel mobile data?
It may be, but a speed-test peak does not establish that your phone can sustain the stream’s upload rate throughout a live broadcast. During a representative test, compare Larix’s actual outgoing bitrate with YouTube’s stream-health information. If the connection cannot sustain the chosen output, reduce video bitrate, resolution or frame rate and test again.
Larix documents adaptive bitrate modes, but neither that documentation nor YouTube’s mobile-encoder guidance establishes one safe bitrate for every Airtel location, handset or stream. Choose based on sustained performance at the place and time you broadcast, not a universal number. YouTube identifies Larix as a supported mobile encoder in its guidance: YouTube Help: Create a live stream on mobile.

Softvelum documents Larix adaptive-bitrate and reconnection settings in its FAQ: Larix Broadcaster FAQ. Exact controls and labels can differ by platform and installed app version.
Will Larix reconnect after mobile data drops?
Check Larix’s reconnect behavior in the installed app rather than assuming it will retry indefinitely. Softvelum documents a reconnect timeout and a “Don’t check network presence” option; it also lists iOS-specific controls for reconnecting without network, idle timeout and unsent threshold. On iOS, a reconnect timeout set to “Never” means Larix will not reconnect. Availability and labels may vary by platform and app build. Change one reconnect setting at a time and repeat the same short test. If Larix remains disconnected while YouTube shows no incoming video, the failure is still in the publishing path; reconnect controls cannot repair an incorrect destination or an uplink that cannot carry the stream.

If the phone has broader connectivity trouble, Airtel’s general 4G guidance suggests checking remaining data, briefly toggling Airplane Mode, restarting the phone and checking device settings. These are basic network diagnostics, not Larix-specific fixes. If the problem continues, Airtel lists 121 for enquiries and 198 for complaints. Airtel: How to fix 4G internet not working and Airtel customer support.
Use this order for a clean troubleshooting test
- Start a short private or unlisted test. Keep Larix and YouTube Live Control Room visible or check them at the same time.
- Record what each reports at the failure. Note Larix’s exact status or error and YouTube’s incoming-stream or health status, plus time and location.
- Confirm the intended stream’s current server URL and key. Copy them from YouTube’s setup into Larix.
- Check actual outgoing bitrate and stream health. Lower bitrate, resolution or frame rate if performance shows the current output is too demanding, then retest.
- Inspect Larix retry controls. Confirm the installed version’s options and ensure reconnect timeout is not set to “Never” on iOS if reconnection is expected.
- Check Airtel’s local diagnostics and outage information. If the issue persists, run the basic device and data checks in Airtel’s 4G guidance.
- Escalate with specifics. If repeated tests point to Airtel, contact the carrier and provide the failure times and locations.
Common symptoms and what to check
| What you observe | What to check next |
|---|---|
| Larix reports a publishing disconnect and YouTube shows no incoming video. | Confirm the stream destination and key, then inspect the phone’s outbound connection, Larix behavior and Airtel conditions at the test location. |
| YouTube receives video but shows stream-health trouble. | Compare the configured output and Larix’s actual outgoing bitrate with stream health; lower bitrate, resolution or frame rate if the connection cannot sustain the output. |
| YouTube says the incoming stream is healthy, but viewers lose playback. | Investigate the playback path; the symptom alone does not establish that Larix disconnected. |
| Larix does not retry after a data interruption. | Check the installed build’s reconnect controls. On iOS, a reconnect timeout of “Never” disables reconnection. |
| Other data problems occur at the same place or time. | Check Airtel Open Network diagnostics and outage information, then report repeat failures with their location and time. |
