Which Extended Operations feature is missing?
Extended Operations is the name of a group of additions, not one menu item. IO Interactive’s update 1.3.0 notes list New Game+, Photo Mode, the 00 difficulty, and TacSim content: Jungle Heist and Valhalla Protocol. Troubleshooting depends on which one you expected to see.
- New Game+ or 00 difficulty: check whether you have completed the entire campaign.
- Photo Mode, Jungle Heist, or Valhalla Protocol: the cited update notes do not state that these require campaign completion. Check the installed game version and the relevant game menus rather than assuming the campaign is the blocker.
- An edition or preorder bonus: that is purchased content, not one of the free update features. Use the store-specific purchase and add-on checks below.
Complete the campaign for New Game+ or 00 difficulty
IOI explicitly says that both New Game+ and the new 00 difficulty unlock after the full campaign is completed. If either of those is missing and you have not finished the campaign, complete it and check again. The notes describe 00 as the hardest difficulty, with enemies that spot players faster and hit harder, and reduced gadget-resource restoration.
The campaign requirement is documented for those two features only. The update notes do not say that Photo Mode, Jungle Heist, or Valhalla Protocol share it.

Confirm update 1.3.0 is installed
Extended Operations arrived in free update 1.3.0, released October 1, 2026. Check your platform’s game update status and allow any pending update to finish, then restart the game and look for the feature in its relevant mode or menu. A listed download size can help identify the release, but it is not a reliable measure of what remains to download for your installation.

If an edition bonus is missing, verify the purchase and installation
IOI’s missing-content guidance covers purchased edition content and bonuses. Those checks can help determine whether an entitlement is attached to your account and installed; they are not a guaranteed fix for missing free-update content.
- PlayStation 5: check your purchase history and edition, then highlight the game, open Manage Game Content, and install any eligible bonus listed there but not installed.
- Xbox: check your purchase history and edition, then open My games & apps → Manage game and add-ons. IOI says reinstalling may help Xbox users if purchased content remains missing.
- Steam: check Account details → Purchase History and keep the receipt available.
- Epic Games Store: check your purchase history and confirm the edition or bonus purchase.
Contact IOI Player Support if the feature is still missing
If the applicable campaign requirement is met, update 1.3.0 is installed, and the relevant platform checks do not explain the problem, report it through IOI Player Support. IOI’s developer-posted Steam notice recommends checking support articles and opening a ticket if none fits.

Include details that help support distinguish an unlock, update, account, or menu issue:
- Your platform and storefront, plus your country or region if relevant.
- The exact feature that is missing.
- Whether the full campaign is complete, if the missing feature is New Game+ or 00 difficulty.
- The game version shown on your platform and what appears instead of the expected feature.
- Screenshots of the relevant menu or error, if available.
IOI counted “over 700 fixes and improvements” across update 1.3.0, covering areas such as crashes, progression blockers, clipping, audio, localization, and UI polish. That is the publisher’s update-wide count, not a count of fixes specifically for Extended Operations content failing to appear. The development team also said that more improvements and content are in development; that statement does not identify a fix or timetable for this particular issue.
