Which pack fits your group?
If you might play alone
Pack 11’s Legends of Trivia is listed for 1–6 players, making it the only game across these two lineups with a one-player minimum. All five Pack 12 games are listed for at least two players. Pack 11’s other games also require multiple players: Hear Say starts at two, Doominate and Cookie Haus at three, and Suspectives at four. Pack 11 player counts Pack 12 player counts

If your group has two players
Among Pack 11 games, Hear Say and Legends of Trivia meet a two-player minimum. Pack 12 lists Debate and Switch and Idol Factions for two to eight players. The other Pack 12 games start at three, so a pair should not assume the whole collection supports their group size.
If you want a particular kind of party game
- Choose based on sound recording or deduction: those are distinctive options in Pack 11, through Hear Say and Suspectives.
- Look to Pack 12 for debate or photo editing: Debate and Switch centers on persuasion, while Hyperface uses selfies or stock photos.
- Both have creative and trivia-oriented play: Pack 11 includes joke writing, drawing and cooperative trivia; Pack 12 includes greeting-card design, guessing, and team trivia.
What Pack 11 adds beyond its game lineup
Jackbox’s Party Pack 11 product page lists game durations of 15–20 minutes, an optional family-friendly setting and audience play-along for up to 10,000 participants. These are publisher product-page specifications, not independent evaluations of play time, suitability or audience experience. Party Pack 11 product page

Should you buy Pack 11 or wait for Pack 12?
If you want to play before October 15, 2026, Pack 11 is the available choice of these two. Its solo-capable Legends of Trivia may also matter if you sometimes play alone. If Pack 12’s announced games better match your group—especially debate, photo editing or team-based trivia—its announced launch is October 15, 2026, with a $29.99 launch price. Confirm current regional availability and price on the storefront you use.
