Check three separate things: whether your platform account owns the add-on, whether it is installed, and whether the included content has been released and appears in the game. First distinguish owned, installed, and available in-game
- Owned: The add-on or edition is listed in the store or account used to buy it. Digital purchases are tied to the platform account; ownership on one platform does not establish ownership on another.
- Installed: The platform has downloaded and installed the add-on. A purchase or entitlement alone does not prove installation.
- Available in-game: The relevant character, mode, or bonus has been released and is surfaced in the game. A season pass can include content planned for later release, so ownership does not mean every promised item is selectable now.

- On the PS5 home screen, highlight Avatar Legends: The Fighting Game.

Nintendo Switch
The official US Nintendo listing found is for the digital standard edition. The reviewed sources do not establish a Switch DLC product or a game-specific menu for checking DLC installation. Switch 2 compatibility is stated on that listing, but it does not by itself establish add-on availability.
If the add-on is owned but missing in-game
- Verify that you are signed into the platform account that purchased the add-on and that the relevant edition or upgrade is shown as owned.
- On PS5, check Manage Game Content and install anything not marked Installed. On other platforms, use the platform’s own account and installation checks; the reviewed sources do not provide title-specific menu paths for them.
- Wait for any download or update to finish, then restart the game and check the relevant character, mode, or content menu. Restarting and checking the menu are general troubleshooting steps, not a documented Avatar Legends-specific guarantee.

What the Year 1 Pass promises
The Steam listing says the Year 1 Pass adds five characters over the course of the season: Iroh, Ty Lee, Lin Beifong, Bolin, and the winner of the Year 1 Character Vote.
