Update 007 First Light to version 1.3.0 or later, open Photo Mode, and select Pose 21. Prima Games identifies it as the Absolute Cinema pose: Bond spreads his hands and crosses one leg over the other. Adjust the camera to keep the gesture and crossed leg in frame; a chair or sofa may help create a seated version.
What you need to know
Photo Mode arrived in Update 1.3.0, the free Extended Operations update released October 1, 2026. IO Interactive Player Support says the mode can freeze a moment and lets you frame Bond, locations, and action from your own angle, with camera settings, overlays, filters, visual effects, and poses. Read the official Update 1.3.0 patch notes.
Prima Games reports that Photo Mode has 22 poses and names Pose 21 as the one for the meme. The count and pose identification come from that guide, rather than the official patch notes. See Prima Games’ Pose 21 guide.
Recreate the Absolute Cinema pose
- Update the game. Install version 1.3.0 or later so Photo Mode is available.
- Open Photo Mode. The exact button or menu path can vary by platform and is not specified in the cited patch notes. Check the installed game’s controls rather than relying on an unverified button sequence.
- Select Pose 21. Look for the pose with Bond’s hands extended to the sides and one leg crossed over the other.
- Set the camera and framing. Keep both hands and the crossed leg visible. Choose a camera angle and crop that make the silhouette easy to read, and use a contrasting background if available.
- Adjust the hands and expression. Prima Games reports controls for each hand independently and for Bond’s facial expression. Try open hands for a broad gesture, then set the expression to fit the mood of your shot.
- Try a seat for a seated composition. Prima Games says body rotation can help place Bond on chairs or sofas, and that he may snap into place on suitable furniture. This is not guaranteed on every surface.
- Capture the image. Use the in-game controls or your platform’s screenshot workflow. The exact save or export steps are not established in the available instructions, so check the controls for your version and platform.
Make the composition read clearly
- Pose and gesture: Avoid hiding Bond’s hands behind foreground objects; their spread is central to recognizing the pose.
- Angle and crop: Leave enough room around Bond to show the crossed leg and full gesture. Adjust the camera rather than cropping a limb out.
- Setting: A chair or sofa can suggest the seated meme composition. If the game does not snap Bond into place on a particular seat, reposition him or choose another background.
These are composition suggestions based on the pose and reported controls, not required settings or an official recipe.

What else came with Update 1.3.0?
The free Extended Operations update also added New Game+ and a new “00” difficulty. IO Interactive Player Support said the update included over 700 fixes and improvements; that total covers the update as a whole, not Photo Mode specifically. The official patch notes describe the Photo Mode goal as: “Freeze the moment and frame the perfect shot. Capture Bond, the locations, and the action from your own angle.”
