Short answer: no published information yet guarantees that a particular phone will run Monster Hunter Outlanders smoothly. What are the published requirements for Monster Hunter Outlanders?
In its July 2, 2026 announcement for CBT3, developer TiMi Studio Group listed these test requirements:

How to check your phone against the beta threshold
- Find your exact model and OS version. On an iPhone, check the model and iOS version in Settings. On Android, check the model and Android version in Settings; find the processor or chipset in the phone’s specifications if Settings does not show it.
- Compare with the relevant CBT3 baseline. For iPhone, the reference is iPhone XR and iOS 17. For Android, it is Snapdragon 845 and Android 12. A phone below either threshold was outside the stated CBT3 environment, but that alone does not prove it will be incompatible with the final release. Meeting or exceeding the threshold does not guarantee smooth play.
- Check your regional store listing near launch. Before installing, look at the live App Store or Google Play listing for your exact device. Check whether installation is allowed, the listed OS requirement, and the current download and storage information. Store eligibility shows that the app can be installed; it does not show how steadily it will run during a long session.
Why the store listing does not settle the question
The Philippines App Store listing observed on October 3, 2026, showed a 3.7 GB app size and compatibility with iOS 15.0. That is a regional store snapshot, and its iOS compatibility field differs from the iOS 17 threshold published for CBT3. The two figures describe different things: the listing’s OS compatibility information and the requirements for admission to a specific closed test. Neither establishes smooth performance. What is still unknown about smooth performance?
As of October 3, 2026, the published sources do not provide a final launch minimum or recommended specification, an Android RAM minimum, a device-by-device support list, a target frame rate, or measurements of sustained heat and performance. The 3.7 GB store size is not a measure of how well the game will run. No cited source gives comparable Outlanders benchmarks across phones.

How to judge a phone once the game is available
For useful evidence, look for a test or report that identifies the exact phone and chipset, game version, graphics settings, and length of play, and describes observed frame pacing and heat. A game opening successfully is not the same as running smoothly over a sustained session. Until comparable post-launch measurements are available, the published beta threshold is the clearest hardware reference—but not a performance verdict.
