There is no definitive yes-or-no answer yet: final PC system requirements for The Expanse: Osiris Reborn have not been published. Owlcat has shared specifications for the beta build, but says it will provide the final requirements closer to release. Treat the beta figures below as temporary context—not as a compatibility verdict for the finished game.
What are the current PC requirements?
Epic Games Store currently lists Windows 10, but marks the processor, memory, and graphics-card fields as “TBA” for both minimum and recommended specifications. Owlcat’s published figures are for the beta only. The two listings describe different things, so do not combine them into a single set of final requirements. Epic Games Store listing

These numbers are not benchmark results or promises of a particular frame rate. Owlcat’s announcement says, “We will share the final system requirements for the game closer to its release.”

How to check whether your PC can run it
A useful verdict needs both the final official requirements and your computer’s actual specifications. When the final list is available, compare like with like: operating system to operating system, processor to processor, graphics card to graphics card, memory to memory, and available storage to the game’s stated space requirement.
- Find your PC’s specifications. On Windows, open Settings > System > About to see the processor and installed RAM. Check Settings > System > Storage for free space. To identify the graphics card, open Device Manager > Display adapters; if more than one adapter appears, note the model used for games.
- Check the final requirements when Owlcat publishes them. Compare against the final minimum and recommended tiers, not just the beta table above. The final requirements are expected closer to release, according to Owlcat’s announcement.
- Compare every component with its matching field. Record separately whether your operating system, CPU, GPU, RAM, and free storage meet the minimum and recommended specifications. A match against one tier does not establish that the whole PC meets it.
- Interpret a shortfall cautiously. Being below a final minimum is a reason for concern, not a guarantee that the game will fail to launch. Check your complete configuration and component compatibility before considering an upgrade.
- Recheck near launch. The game is still in development, and both its requirements and release timing may change.
What is known about the release?
Steam lists Q2 2027 as the planned release date, while Owlcat’s March 26, 2026 announcement describes a spring 2027 window. These are plans, not a guarantee of a fixed date. The PC beta is not a substitute for the finished game’s requirements. Owlcat announced beta access for PC (Steam), Xbox Series X|S, and PlayStation 5; its April 22, 2026 post says access is for eligible Founders who own Miller’s Pack or the Collector’s Edition and explains platform selection. Once published, final minimum and recommended specifications will let you compare your hardware with the developer’s stated tiers. They will not, by themselves, establish an exact frame rate for your particular PC. The sources available do not provide a game-specific compatibility checker, final benchmark, measured frame rate, or final performance target. Avoid treating a GPU model name—or the beta specifications—as a whole-system guarantee.
