Choose the native Nintendo Switch 2 Edition if you want its stated improvements to resolution, frame rate and loading; pick the Bracer Edition only if you want its physical collectibles and can find it at a worthwhile current price.

Which edition should you buy?
Buy Standard if you want the game
Standard gets you the base game without bundling in optional cosmetics. The Nintendo description presents it as a remake of the first Trails installment, following Estelle and Joshua; the listing states no prior-game requirement. Nintendo’s listing describes the setup, and GamesRadar’s guide calls it a starting point while noting that it is the first chapter of an interconnected series.
Choose Digital Deluxe only for the Season Pass items
Deluxe adds the Season Pass, not a separate story campaign. If you only want one outfit or attachment, compare the local Deluxe price with Standard plus that individual DLC. The pass excludes consumables, and the publisher says its DLC can also be bought separately. Official product page
Choose Switch 2 for its stated technical improvements
The publisher identifies resolution, frame rate and loading as the Switch 2 Edition’s advantages, not additional in-game content. If you already own the Switch version, the paid Upgrade Pack lets you play the Switch 2 Edition, but the pack alone does not include the game. Choose Bracer for the physical extras
The Bracer Edition’s appeal is its collection of physical items as well as the included game and DLC. Its product page’s delivery window refers to 2025, so it does not establish stock or delivery timing in October 2026. Check a current retailer listing before buying.

Those prices are a snapshot, not a universal price list. The bundle math is useful only if you want the pass content: compare Deluxe with Standard plus the individual DLC you expect to buy, rather than treating the Season Pass as required for the story.
