First check whether the problem also happens in the PS5 menus or another PS VR2 experience. If it does, troubleshoot the headset, Sense controllers, or Play Area through PlayStation’s system-level support. If it happens only in Into the Radius 2, document the exact symptom and contact the game’s official support: official materials available as of October 4, 2026, do not establish a title-specific PS5 tracking or controller fix.
Start by isolating the problem
Check the PS5 interface and, if available, another PS VR2 game. This comparison helps distinguish a system-wide problem from one limited to Into the Radius 2; it cannot identify every possible cause on its own.
- System-wide: Use PlayStation’s support paths for headset tracking, controller tracking or input, and tracking-camera problems. These are distinct issue categories. PlayStation VR2 troubleshooting.
- Game-only: Record what happens and report it to the game’s official support. The available official game materials do not document a PS5-specific tracking or controller bug or its remedy. PlayStation Store listing · PlayStation Blog announcement.

Fix a Sense controller that will not respond
Sony’s reset procedure is a general PS5 controller step, not a confirmed Into the Radius 2-specific fix. Use it if a controller remains unresponsive outside the game as well.

- Turn off the PS5.
- On the back of the Sense controller, press the small reset button with a pin or similar tool. Sony notes that the tool is not included.
- Connect the controller to the PS5 with the supplied USB cable.
- Press the PS button.
Follow Sony’s controller troubleshooting and repair guidance if the issue persists across PS5 contexts. A reset does not guarantee a fix for hardware damage.
Separate headset tracking from controller tracking
Note whether the headset’s view stops following head movement, a controller’s position is lost, or button input fails while tracking remains stable. PlayStation treats headset tracking, controller tracking, and tracking-camera issues as separate support categories, so describing which one fails makes a report more useful.

If tracking is poor in PS5 menus or other VR experiences too, check that the headset cameras have an unobstructed view of the room and rerun Play Area setup. The headset cameras scan the room to establish that area; Sony’s manual does not establish a specific lighting threshold or an Into the Radius 2-specific calibration procedure. Reset or adjust a boundary warning
A boundary warning is not automatically a game fault. As you approach the configured Play Area edge, a boundary appears; crossing outside pauses gameplay and switches the view to see-through. Sony describes this as part of Play Area safety behavior.

- Turn on and connect the PS VR2 headset.
- On PS5, open Settings > Accessories > PlayStation VR2.
- Inspect or reset the Play Area setup, following the on-screen instructions.
- Expand the scanned area or exclude sections only where appropriate, keeping the play space physically clear and safe.

- Whether the issue affects headset movement, controller position, or a particular button or action.
- Which controller is affected and how often the problem occurs.
- Whether it began after resuming the game from rest mode.
- Whether the same behavior occurs in PS5 menus or another PS VR2 game.
Steam’s support information applies to the PC build: it lists OpenXR as required and HTC Vive Wands and Windows Mixed Reality hardware as unsupported. Those constraints are not PS5 instructions. Steam listing.
