The report identifying the two fan projects is available at Video Games Chronicle. Do not use the official Steam game’s specifications as a proxy for the Godot scene recreation.
Compatibility for the End of Time fan scene
The project has been reported as a Windows download, but that alone does not establish that it runs on Windows 10 or 11, specify minimum CPU or GPU requirements, or confirm support for a controller or save files. No verified launch errors or project-specific fixes are established here.

If you have the scene build, use the creator’s current listing and any release notes that accompany that exact download to check its operating-system requirements and troubleshooting guidance. If the download is unavailable or the page has no version details, compatibility remains unconfirmed; do not assume the official game’s requirements apply.

The listing also gives supported resolutions from 800×600 through 1920×1080 in several common modes. These are Steam’s published specifications for the official game, not a test of the fan-made scene.
Account for Steam’s separate client requirement
Steam says its client supports Windows 10 and later from January 1, 2024. That is a client requirement, separate from the older Windows versions shown in the game’s minimum-requirements field. A system can meet the game listing’s stated OS minimum yet still fall outside Steam’s client support. Check the official Steam listing for the game’s published details and Steam’s current client requirements before troubleshooting an installation.

Official-game controls and saving
The Steam product description says the official release supports gamepad or keyboard controls and autosaves while traversing the map. That description does not establish controller or save behavior in the Godot fan scene.
Where to get official PC-game help
Square Enix’s North American CHRONO TRIGGER support index includes Steam topics titled “My PC version has crashed or is missing key files” and “I am unable to save game files.” Open the relevant entry for Square Enix’s current instructions. The existence of those topics does not confirm that their procedures will fix a fan project.

- Identify the exact software. Decide whether you have a video concept, the End of Time Godot scene, or the official Steam game. A video is not a runnable build; the scene recreation is not the full commercial game.
- Match the issue to the project. For the Godot scene, consult the creator’s current listing and build notes. For the official game, use the Steam product page and Square Enix’s Steam support topics. Do not apply one project’s requirements or fixes to another.
- Check the version-specific details. For a fan-scene download, look for the build’s stated Windows versions, hardware needs, and any troubleshooting notes. Those details are not established by the report identifying the project.
- Describe the failure precisely when seeking help. Include the project name, exact build or download, Windows version, and what happens when you launch or use it. This helps distinguish a project-specific issue from a Steam client or official-game issue; it is not a substitute for a verified fix.
