OBS वाला Mac mini तरीका तब सही है जब प्रसारण में कैमरा, गेमप्ले, बदलते हुए scenes या कोई दूसरी real-time प्रस्तुति हो। ऐसे प्रसारण में Mac mini encoding करता है और YouTube तक लगातार feed भेजता है। कंप्यूटर बंद होने, OBS रुकने या नेटवर्क टूटने पर feed प्रभावित हो सकती है।
यदि मकसद पहले से रिकॉर्ड किए गए वीडियो को लगातार चलाना है, तो YouTube अपनी encoder सूची में Gyre को prerecorded videos के 24/7 streaming tool के रूप में सूचीबद्ध करता है। यह OBS के live-camera या real-time production workflow का समान विकल्प नहीं है। YouTube की encoder सूची देखें: YouTube encoder guide.
शुरू करने से पहले ये चीजें तैयार रखें
- ऐसा YouTube channel जिस पर live streaming सक्षम हो। पहली बार सुविधा चालू करने में 24 घंटे तक लग सकते हैं। YouTube verified channel और पिछले 90 दिनों में live-stream restrictions न होने की शर्त भी बताता है: encoder guide और live-stream tips.
- आपके macOS संस्करण के अनुकूल OBS Studio। OBS की Mac installation guide के अनुसार DMG डाउनलोड करके app को Applications folder में रखें। macOS और OBS के संस्करण बदलते रहते हैं, इसलिए इंस्टॉल करने से पहले Mac installation guide और macOS compatibility table जांचें।
- स्थिर upload connection। YouTube कुल stream bitrate से 20% अधिक upload bandwidth रखने की सलाह देता है; वास्तविक क्षमता अपने कनेक्शन पर जांचें: YouTube streaming tips.
- प्रसारण की सामग्री, resolution, frame rate और audio की योजना। इनके अनुसार bitrate और Mac पर encoding का भार बदलता है।
Mac mini और OBS को YouTube Live से जोड़ें
- YouTube Live की पात्रता जांचें। YouTube Studio के Live Control Room में जाकर देखें कि channel live streaming के लिए तैयार है। पहली बार enable करने पर 24 घंटे तक इंतजार करना पड़ सकता है।
- Live Control Room में stream बनाएं। प्रसारण सेटिंग में encoder के लिए stream URL और stream key लें। YouTube के अनुसार key encoder को stream feed भेजने और स्वीकार कराने में इस्तेमाल होती है। इसे पासवर्ड की तरह निजी रखें—इसे सार्वजनिक न करें, स्क्रीनशॉट में न दिखाएं और किसी अनजान व्यक्ति को न भेजें। विवरण: Manage live stream settings.
- OBS में YouTube ingest चुनें। OBS की stream settings में YouTube service/preset चुनें और Live Control Room से मिली stream key दर्ज करें। यदि चुना हुआ विकल्प URL भी मांगता है, तो YouTube का दिया stream URL भरें। YouTube RTMPS इस्तेमाल करने की सिफारिश करता है; यह RTMP का TLS/SSL से encrypted रूप है। YouTube RTMPS guidance.
- OBS में दृश्य और audio जांचें। आवश्यक scene/source जोड़ें और सुनिश्चित करें कि preview में सही वीडियो दिख रहा है तथा audio meter पर अपेक्षित आवाज़ आ रही है। गलत scene, mute audio या अनुपस्थित source का पता public प्रसारण से पहले लगाएं।
- Video और output settings तय करें। OBS में output resolution और FPS अपने कंटेंट के मुताबिक चुनें। YouTube की bitrate तालिका को शुरुआती आधार मानें, फिर वास्तविक scene और upload कनेक्शन पर परीक्षण करें। तालिका के प्रकाशित आंकड़ों पर पेज वर्ष नहीं दिखाता: YouTube encoder settings.
- पहले unlisted या private परीक्षण करें। OBS से stream शुरू करें, Live Control Room में preview और stream-health संदेश देखें। वीडियो, audio और कनेक्शन सही हों तभी broadcast को public करें। YouTube भी preview और stream health जांचने की सलाह देता है: live-stream tips.
- लंबे प्रसारण की निगरानी करें। OBS और Mac mini चालू रखें, नेटवर्क तथा YouTube stream-health संदेश देखते रहें। YouTube encoder workflow में stream health निगरानी और प्रसारण पूरा होने पर encoder रोकना शामिल है; उपलब्ध मार्गदर्शन किसी Mac mini के unattended 24/7 uptime की गारंटी नहीं देता।
YouTube के bitrate और encoder targets
नीचे दिए आंकड़े YouTube Help की H.264 bitrate तालिका के हैं। इन्हें निश्चित रूप से सही परिणाम देने वाली settings न समझें: दृश्य में motion, audio, encoder, नेटवर्क और scene complexity के कारण उपयुक्त configuration बदल सकती है। स्रोत-पेज पर प्रकाशन वर्ष प्रदर्शित नहीं है।

Mac mini पर OBS: compatibility और encoding के फर्क
OBS की system-requirements page macOS 11 या बाद का संस्करण, Intel या Apple silicon CPU और OpenGL 3.3-compatible GPU बताती है। न्यूनतम आवश्यकताएं पूरी होने से चुने हुए encoder, resolution, FPS और scene complexity पर सफल streaming की गारंटी नहीं मिलती। विवरण: OBS System Requirements.

OBS के अनुसार Apple VideoToolbox hardware encoding Intel और Apple silicon Mac पर उपलब्ध है, लेकिन H.264 streaming support का व्यवहार अलग है: Apple silicon पर VideoToolbox से H.264 streaming supported है; Intel Mac पर इस विकल्प में constant bitrate की कमी के कारण streaming supported नहीं है और x264 इस्तेमाल करना पड़ता है। इसका अर्थ यह नहीं कि Intel Mac OBS से stream नहीं कर सकता—यह VideoToolbox encoding विकल्प की सीमा है। OBS Hardware Encoding.

RTMPS या HLS: सामान्य setup में क्या चुनें?
सामान्य OBS-to-YouTube setup के लिए RTMPS सीधा विकल्प है और YouTube इसकी सिफारिश करता है। HLS का configuration अधिक विशिष्ट है: HTTPS ingest, 1–4 सेकंड TS segments, rolling playlist, अधिकतम पांच outstanding segments और HTTPS POST/PUT। YouTube HLS में RTMP की तुलना में अधिक latency बताता है। HDR या किसी खास workflow को HLS की जरूरत न हो तो उसे डिफॉल्ट विकल्प बनाने का कारण नहीं है। RTMPS guidance और HLS setup.
24/7 प्रसारण में आम दिक्कतें और उनके उपाय
- OBS connect नहीं करता: Live Control Room में चालू stream की key और URL फिर जांचें। OBS में गलत या पुरानी key होने पर YouTube से feed जुड़ने में समस्या हो सकती है। Key को सुरक्षित रखें और जरूरत पड़ने पर Live Control Room से सही विवरण लें।
- Live preview नहीं आता या stream health खराब है: OBS का सही scene, output और connection देखें। YouTube Live Control Room में preview तथा stream-health संदेश जांचें; public करने से पहले unlisted/private परीक्षण करें।
- चित्र रुकता है या connection गिरता है: upload क्षमता मापें, bitrate को आपके कनेक्शन के अनुकूल रखें और कुल bitrate के लिए YouTube का 20% headroom सुझाव लागू करें। ऊंचा resolution या FPS अधिक bandwidth मांग सकता है।
- Stream का output अस्थिर या अपेक्षा से कमजोर है: CBR, 2 सेकंड keyframe interval और चुने resolution/FPS के अनुरूप bitrate जांचें। YouTube की तालिका शुरुआती संदर्भ है, आपके scene पर परिणाम की गारंटी नहीं।
- Intel Mac पर hardware encoder से समस्या: OBS की बताई VideoToolbox सीमा को ध्यान में रखकर x264 विकल्प चुनें; यह सीमा Intel Mac पर OBS streaming की पूर्ण असमर्थता नहीं दर्शाती।
- रात में या लंबे समय बाद प्रसारण रुकता है: Mac mini के sleep/power व्यवहार, OBS के चलने और इंटरनेट कनेक्शन की जांच करें तथा लंबे परीक्षण में stream health देखें। यहां दिए गए स्रोत uninterrupted unattended operation की गारंटी स्थापित नहीं करते।
कॉपीराइट, प्रसारण सामग्री और YouTube नियम
प्रसारण में वही वीडियो, संगीत, गेमप्ले और अन्य सामग्री इस्तेमाल करें जिसके अधिकार या आवश्यक अनुमति आपके पास है। YouTube की live-stream tips और channel की live-stream eligibility जांचें; restrictions होने पर live streaming प्रभावित हो सकती है। Stream key को credential समझकर गोपनीय रखें। OBS चलना या प्रसारण लंबे समय तक खुला रहना सामग्री के copyright अथवा YouTube नियमों के अनुपालन का विकल्प नहीं है।
