Roblox requires you to verify ownership before it resets an account or changes account information, and Support does not guarantee recovery.
Choose the recovery route that matches your problem

Reset your password with an attached phone number
This route works only if the number was already added to the Roblox account and you can receive its verification text. Roblox’s instructions call for a six-digit code. Phone-number login is a separate feature and is available only in some Roblox apps for accounts with a verified number; do not assume it is available on every platform or in every region.
- On the Roblox login page, select Forgot Password or Username.
- Choose the Phone tab.
- Select the country code and enter the phone number attached to the account.
- Request the code, then enter the six-digit code Roblox sends you.
- Set a new password. Choose one you do not use for another site.
Roblox says adding a phone number is available only in select countries. If you cannot use the Phone tab or no code arrives, use another available recovery route rather than assuming any phone number can recover the account. Contact Support if neither recovery detail is available
Roblox states that its password-reset feature cannot reset an account when no email address or phone number was added. In that case, contact Roblox Customer Support and describe the login issue. Roblox says players must verify ownership before Support resets an account or changes information.

Give truthful, accurate account details and respond to Support’s questions through the official channel. Roblox does not publish a complete list of alternative evidence accepted for every account, so do not assume a particular document or detail will be sufficient. A support request is the official route, not a promise that access will be restored.
If someone took over the account or changed its email
Roblox advises people whose accounts may have been hacked to remove unsafe off-site downloads and browser extensions, run a full virus scan, and try resetting the password. If the reset fails, contact Support. After regaining access, change the password and enable 2-Step Verification.

Roblox says the first email address added to the account or the billing email used for the first payment may help with ownership verification, even if an attacker changed the account email. Those details do not guarantee recovery: Roblox says it reviews account details, and the outcome is not assured. If the account had no email or credit-card or PayPal purchase associated with its creation, Roblox says it can still explore other ownership-verification options, but does not publish a full list. Find the username if you have forgotten it
Roblox’s username-recovery procedure relies on an email address or phone number already added to the account. If neither is accessible, check receipts from Roblox purchases: Roblox says some purchase receipts include the account username. If you cannot find it that way, contact Support about the separate question of proving account ownership. The username process itself cannot recover a username without an email, phone, or purchase history. See Roblox’s forgotten-username instructions.
When 2-Step Verification is the login obstacle
Losing access to the account email and losing the primary 2SV method are different problems, but either can prevent login. Roblox says recovery from a lost primary 2SV method requires two different verification methods in the account details. Depending on what was set up, try a backup code, an eligible phone number, a passkey, or approval from another device. If no offered method works, contact Support. Backup codes are one-time-use and are shown only when generated, so they must have been saved beforehand to be useful. Keep them private; do not send them to anyone claiming to recover the account.

Protect your credentials while seeking help
- Use Roblox’s official website, apps, and Support channel. Enter login details only on Roblox’s official website or in its apps.
- Never share your password, browser cookies, 2SV codes, or backup codes. Roblox warns that employees will not ask you for these secrets.
- Be wary of anyone offering recovery in exchange for credentials, codes, personal details, or Robux.
- If you suspect a malicious download or browser extension led to compromise, remove it and scan the device. A device scan may help address that security risk; it cannot restore the Roblox account.
