Standard pre-orders were announced with a four-weapon set; the digital-only Deluxe Edition added the Ring of Assurance and the A Boon for Adventurers – New Journey Pack. Capcom ended sales of that original Deluxe Edition on June 25, 2026 (Japan Standard Time). Capcom’s current availability notice and the US PlayStation Store listing distinguish the base game from a later Dark Arisen package.
What were the Dragon’s Dogma 2 pre-order bonuses?
The announced standard-edition pre-order bonus was a four-weapon bonus set, described by Capcom as useful early in the game. The Deluxe Edition included that same set plus the Ring of Assurance. Its digital bundle also came with A Boon for Adventurers – New Journey Pack. Capcom’s announcement confirms the bonus set and ring, while PlayStation’s launch article describes the Deluxe bundle and its DLC. Exact fulfillment terms may have varied by territory, retailer, or physical edition; the available announcements do not establish identical redemption terms worldwide.
The sources support the four-weapon set as a set, but not a reliable localized item-by-item list, so individual weapon names should not be assumed.
Standard vs. Deluxe: what was different?
| Original 2024 offer | Announced bonuses | Format and qualification |
|---|---|---|
| Standard pre-order | Four-weapon bonus set | Standard had physical and digital versions. Capcom described the set as useful early in the game; terms may have differed by region, retailer, or edition. |
| Deluxe Edition pre-order | Four-weapon set, Ring of Assurance, and A Boon for Adventurers – New Journey Pack | The original Deluxe bundle was digital-only. The ring was an additional Deluxe pre-order bonus. |
PlayStation’s November 28, 2023 launch article confirms the original digital-only Deluxe bundle and New Journey Pack. Capcom’s November 29, 2023 announcement via PR TIMES Japan names the four-weapon set and Ring of Assurance.

Can you still buy the original Deluxe Edition or claim its pre-order bonuses?
No. The original pre-order period ended when the game launched on March 22, 2024, and Capcom said sales of the original Deluxe Edition and specified add-ons ended on June 25, 2026, at 9:00 JST. Capcom also stated that content already purchased remains usable and listed the base game among products that remained available. The notice concerns sales of the listed products; it does not establish that the old pre-order bonuses can be obtained now.
Capcom’s June 10, 2026 notice via PR TIMES Japan gives the end date and continued-use terms. Do not assume a current retailer listing includes either original pre-order bonus.

What is the current Dark Arisen package?
Dark Arisen is a later, separate offering—not another name for the 2024 Deluxe Edition. The US PlayStation Store lists the standard game separately and also lists a Dark Arisen package that bundles the base game, expansion, Explorer’s Camping Kit, Dragon’s Dogma Custom Sounds, and Norgan Fashion Set. The listing gives October 9, 2026 as the expansion’s release date. Its Norgan Fashion Set promotion is tied to this distinct package, and the listing says the item may also be available at a later date; it is not evidence that original pre-order bonuses are available again.
As checked October 4, 2026, the US PlayStation Store displayed the standard game at $39.99. That is a storefront price for the US listing, not a universal price or an Amazon price; prices and availability can change by region and over time. See the US PlayStation Store page for its current product details.

Which edition should you look for now?
If you want a physical copy, the relevant product is the standard PS5 game: Capcom confirmed a physical PS5 release at launch, while the original Deluxe Edition was digital-only. The sources establish the product formats and current US store listing, but do not verify present-day Amazon stock, seller, or price. Check the exact market listing before buying, and do not treat a modern listing as proof that the original preorder extras are included.
For background on the game itself, director Hideaki Itsuno said in PlayStation’s launch article, “Dragon’s Dogma 2 incorporates ideas that were not technically feasible at the time we created the first game.”
