If it is still missing or will not load during that window, check your connection, restart and update your device and game, then contact Zynga support if the problem persists.
First, check whether the event is actually live
Zynga’s October 2026 event calendar, posted September 29, lists the House of the Dragon Quest Event from October 15 at 4 a.m. ET until October 19 at 2 a.m. ET. On October 4, its absence is consistent with that schedule. The calendar does not specify any account, region, or player-progression requirements for visibility.
There is also a separate House of the Dragon Summon, scheduled for October 15 at 1 a.m. ET through October 19 at 2 p.m. ET. Its listing names Rhaenyra Targaryen, Viserys I Targaryen, Caraxes, and Olenna Tyrell. If you are looking for the summon rather than the quest event, note that it has its own start and end times.
Do not confuse it with the June Dragon Egg Quest
Zynga’s June 11, 2026 announcement described a one-time Special Dragon Egg Quest beginning June 25. That past event had dragon bonuses of +35% Attack Power, +35% Defense, and +20% Fire Resistance, along with rewards including Beast Skill Books, Beast Gear, and summon tokens. It is distinct from the October Quest Event; the June event’s bonuses and rewards should not be assumed to apply in October. See Zynga’s event announcements and calendar.

If the event should be live but is missing or stuck loading
Once the published window has begun, work through Zynga’s general missing-feature and loading guidance in order. The exact device menu labels can vary by model and software version.
- Check your internet connection. Make sure the device is online over Wi-Fi or cellular data. If you are using Wi-Fi, check that the router is on and the signal is adequate. Zynga’s connection guidance covers basic connectivity checks.
- Restart the device. After confirming connectivity, restart your phone or tablet and try opening the game again.
- Update the game. Check the device’s app store for the latest version of Game of Thrones: Legends, install any available update, then reopen the game.
- Force-close and reopen the app. Fully close the game rather than leaving it in the background, then launch it again. Zynga provides force-close steps for Android and iOS. Closing unnecessary background apps may also help.
- Check for an operating-system update. Use your device’s current system settings instructions; the navigation varies between platforms and software versions.
- Reinstall only after confirming your progress is backed up. Zynga warns that reinstalling can reset progress, which may not be recoverable if the game was not backed up. Confirm that an available in-game sign-in method has saved your account before removing the app. Consult Zynga’s backup and reinstall guidance first.
When to contact Zynga support
If the event remains absent or will not open during its listed window after those checks, contact Zynga through the official Game of Thrones: Legends Help Center. Explain whether the event is missing from the game or visible but stuck loading, and include when the issue began and which troubleshooting steps you tried.

If support requests account identifiers, Zynga says you can find the Player ID and PIN in Player Profile → Settings → Personal Data Request. Follow the support flow for the current instructions: Player ID and PIN help.

In its September 7, 2026 notes for release 1.0.605, Zynga said it had “Fixed technical glitches that were preventing the game from loading.” That is a reason to keep the game updated, but it does not establish that the October House of the Dragon event has a known unresolved bug. The official material cited here does not confirm a live outage or an event-specific defect; if standard troubleshooting does not help during the scheduled window, support is the appropriate next step.
